Shade

In the shadows of the late eve, a pair of ominous eyes stare fiercely out of the darkness. "I loathe this place," Shade, a Temple Hollowheart, said darkly. "Why did Zap send me here, again?" she asked herself. "Oh right. To get one of those Snicky things..." Though she hated the Slums, she did love those cute little snails. She had a soft spot for Snickies. Her claws clicked slowly on the dirty concrete. "Well, if I'm ever to get out of this place, I had better start looking."

Her eyes scanned the slimy walls of the alleyway she was resting in. "Perhaps this is Snicky slime...?" She said aloud. She scraped her claws on the wall and rubbed the gunk between her talons. "Perhaps..." she said with a sly smile. Shade stepped out of the alleyway, stretched her wings, and took off into the night, scanning the ground for anything interesting or Snicky related.

It was getting late. "I'd better find shelter before I'm mugged or something," she said to herself. Spotting a large dumpster behind a building, she flew toward it. "Oh boy. This is my kind of place..." Shade said sarcastically. She climbed into the dumpster and found a place where the garbage was not as grotesque, curled up, and went to sleep. Suddenly, she looked to her right and saw a messy pile of bones that belonged to... something. "I'm not even going to ask..." she mused as she closed her shining eyes and slept.

Shade was awoken by a strange noise coming from outside the dumpster. "Who in the-" Shade began, pushing open the lid. "Hey! Who's the wise guy who woke me up?!" she called. She looked around, but no one was there. Shade frowned as she looked at herself. "Disgusting. I'd better clean up." She propelled into the sky and spotted a nearby pool in someone's backyard. It was full of algae. "Gross. But, it will have to do." She dove into the pool, coating the roof of the house in slimy liquid. "It's their own fault they let it get this dirty. They should be prepared for a giant temple Hollowheart to dive in their pool and drench their house," she laughed. She tore some moss growing on the side of the pool, and wet it in the green water. Shade began to scrub herself furiously. Once she was done with her body, she washed her ribbon that was tied to her horn. She began to climb out of the pool to dry herself off.
"Hey, you there! Get!" a voice came from above.
Shade looked up to see an angry human shouting at her from an open window. "Oh great. I knew I'd get caught," she mused. Her eyes glowed ominously. "Shi mau aka, si fu dei lee," she chanted.
"Eek!" the human screamed. "Alright, alright, fine! You can stay!" The human was obviously scared for his life.
"Not likely..." Shade whispered under her breath. "I'm done here. I have no need for your pool," she said louder. She leapt into the air once again. "What an idiot. That wasn't even a real spell!"

Omega Supreme
"Sniky,sniky,sniky.What a strange word.Why must I find one.Why must I search through this muck.Because of a sniky.Megadeath wants one,so who gets to find one?Not one of his loyal gyrapters,not one of his khunas,wich are at lambastia world bridge,not one of his icthysaurs,but me,the garagnir."mumbled Omega to himself.He did not want to find a sniky.They were not a challenge.Now a hunter or akail,they could at least fight back.He heard a distant splash and flew over to investigate.He found a temple hollowheart sitting in a pool."Hi,my name is Omega Supreme,whats yours?"asked Omega.

Shade's head whipped around to see a huge Garagnir standing on the ground. She dove to where he was standing and dipped her head politely. "Hello. I am Shade," she said. Her eyes scanned his massive body. "I see you're well prepared for the horrid place that is the Slums." Shade's gaze flickered to Omega's face. "Do you suppose you could tell me why you are here?"

"I have to find one of those snikys.My owner wants one,so I have to get it for him.Yes,I guess I am prepared for this horrid place."Omega explained."So,Shade,right?Have you ever met nightmarefall the battleheart?"Omega asked curiously.

Shade cocked her head. "Nightmarefall..." she mused. "No I don't believe I have. You are here for a Snicky? As am I." She looked self consciously at herself. "I'm certainly not as protected. My skin is quite thin... I think. I've never had to battle. My fierce appearance usually scares everyone off." An evil glint appeared in her eye. "Perhaps they should run." After a few heartbeats, Shade giggled. "Just kidding. I wouldn't hurt anyone unless I was threatened..." Her eyes flicked to Omega. "Or in a really bad mood." Her forked tongue flicked out of her mouth. "So. It only seems logical that if both you and I are looking for a Snicky, we should team up, yes? We'd cover more ground together."

"Yeah,that is a good idea.Since your a temple,shouldn't your skin be rock hard?"Omega Supreme asked checking his feet to make sure he didn't step on anyone or anything.He was bored of looking for invertabrates.

Omega found a trash can lodged in his foot.He pulled it out quickly."Were should we look first?"Omega asked,sniffing the horrid air and cringing.

Shade looked around. "Perhaps a dark place. I heard Snickys like that," she contemplated. "You have wings, yes? We'd cover much more ground flying." Shade fluttered her own wings. "If you can fly, we will be off." She beat her wings wildly as she said this. Her feet lifted off the ground and she rose into the air. "Let's go."

"Yes I can fly.Lets get going then."Omega got into the air and flew with amazing agility and speed.He was,after all,a dragon.

Shade saw Omega leap into the air, and copied his actions. She flew up gracefully, twisting as she went. "So, perhaps we should try an alleyway? Those are dark," Shade suggested. Her glowing eyes flicked to the nearest one. "Follow me." She beat her wings rapidly to gain speed, and dove for an alleyway just outside a shady looking bar. "Down here," she said to Omega, who was still in the air.

"Okay."Omega said as he landed.He was an amazing flier dispite his massive size."There might be one under that dumpster over there."Omega suggested.

Grand

Grand was flying over the slums,looking for either Omega Supreme or a sniky.He wanted to find Omega first because he could relate to Omega.They were both dragons,they were both extremely rare to.He dove down when he saw Omega talking to another hollow heart,then they flew off.He followed them to a shady looking ally way next to an even shadier bar."Omega!Up here!"shouted Grand.He landed next to Omega."Hey Omega,I was looking all over for you.Who is your freind over there?"Grand asked.He was not used to being around other hollow hearts.

Shade eyed the newcomer curiously. "And what might your name be?" she said calmly. She dipped her head. "I am Shade, a Temple Hollowheart," she said shyly. Looking up, she scanned the Treasure Hollowheart's body. "You look just like a friend of mine..." Shade said. "Otoño..." While she was lost in thought, a crash came from behind the dumpster. "What was that?!" she exclaimed, waking from her trance.
