Pulsation gave a brief glance at Elle's backside, before looking away again and shaking his head. He wasn't entirely sure how he was going to handle things if someone recognized her. And he just didn't want to be here, but he said his daughter anyway, as they finally caught up with her, "We're here." And they were.

They were already here, so he'd do what he could to enjoy being out together with the two of them.

He finally pulled himself out of Elle's grasp, not because he did not like it, in fact, he appreciated it, and it was her contact that always helped to soothe him throughout all these years. However, in the other hand, and propped against his shoulder, was a large beach umbrella, while basket hung from that same arm.

He first grabbed the umbrella in his opposite hand before lowering the basket of other usual beach going items, and told the two girls, "Alright, step back you two."

The man shoved the base of the colorful beach umbrella into the sand, twisting it in until it seemed secure. Then, he moved to unlatch it from itself, and lift it open. It was more than large enough to provide shade for the three of them, but it certainly would not have really fit a fourth person's towel laid out.

Since Pulse was released from her grasp, Elle set down the basket that she'd been carrying, too, and began to dig out their towels.

Beach chairs would have been nice, but they had decided that they would be too much of a hassle. It was just as well to lay out on their towels than bother carrying more than what they actually needed.

After Pulse secured and opened the umbrella, she passed him the towel that was designated as his. Unsurprisingly, it was simple, just all black, even though it would attract more heat. On the other hand, Elle and Ekkoh's towels were fun and colorful, in comparison.

The girls had gone out shopping before their beach trip since they didn't really have much for it, having left Pulse at home, as he insisted he'd be fine with whatever they chose and didn't want to go. The towels were all brand new, and chosen by them. They could have gotten Pulsation an equally bright towel as their own, but when Ekkoh saw that they actually did have beach towels in solid colors, including black, she told Elle that it was probably best to get that, knowing that he would prefer it.
