I actually like cold weather! I miss the snow, now that it's all starting back home.
No squirrels! Funny story, when my Australian partner visited the states, he was really excited to see squirrels! I live in the city, so no big wild life here. Just birds (mostly crows), and some possums (which are cute fuzzy cat like creatures), and lots of lizards and geckos. No raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, or rabbits. If you leave the city, kangaroos become pests. They're annoying and a problem for cars, not unlike deer.
No accent yet! I'm still rocking the midwest accent, which Australians almost always mistake for Canadian, hah.
Yea it gets stupid hot. We all just stay inside until the sun goes down and it cools off a little. There are lots of pools and AC units! (No heaters though.)
Yea, the rabbits eat the local grasses and flowers, and it makes all of the other local animals that would eat those starve. Because rabbits are so adaptable and breed so fast, they're a real threat to the other fuzzy stuff I mentioned above.
I'm just here flying off the deep end.
I'm just here to become the best yet.
I'm just here for the psych assessment.
I'm just here for the, for the...
