Hey guys. I know I've been back for a bit and I wanted to say hello to everyone again, but also give some news.

I've been scarce for a few days, I'm sure you guys see me lurking a lot more than posting and I haven't even done that. My niece suddenly fell ill and unfortunately has passed away. My brother is taking this hard (he lives with my fiance and I) and I'm trying to be strong for him and the rest of the family. We are making funeral arrangements tomorrow, so I may be gone for a little while longer.

Lily was only three, and we got to see her every other weekend, but I've been there since she was born. She was my fiance's little buddy and loved to just sit on the couch with him. We're devastated by this loss, and I've been spending as much time as possible with my nephews as well. They're too young to understand why everything is so hectic right now.

I am not asking for donations here, but there is a gofundme set up for her to help with the funeral costs and the medical bills. I would appreciate if anyone wanted to share it around, or even just leave a message of support for my family.

Thank you all for being here to distract me from things. I want to continue to RP and be a part of the community here despite all of this, it's a welcome reprieve from the troubles of the real world.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. That's really sad news, and I can't even begin to imagine what going through that kind of grief must be like. I'm glad that your brother has you there for him in these hard times. I'll definitely check around at work as well to see if anyone would be willing to help pitch in to for the funds as well.

Oh my gosh! That's incredibly tragic! I really do hope everything goes well for you and your family. I hope our presence helps heal your heart a little, since it's important to find something to smile about, even when things seem their worst! And I hope you all can find comfort in each other. My goodness, I don't even know what to say exactly. After becoming a mother, anything tragic involving children makes me weep, so I stared at her darling picture an cried a bit. I'm truly sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you and your family. I wish there was more I could do, but I'm not much in a place to do so. Still, I know our little community will be here for a good distraction as you need it. Through difficult times, it's always nice to have a little place you can throw yourself into, in a good way.

I'm glad you're there for your nephews. They need you, for sure, and I'm certain they appreciate having someone who talks to them and spends time with them despite all of this. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Thank you everyone. <3 I appreciate being in your thoughts through all of this. I'm headed back to work today but my fiance is home with my brother in the evenings and they're sort of bonding over video games. Sometimes they don't get along, it's really touching to see.

The holidays are going to be tough without Lily but we'll make it through. <3 I'm hoping tomorrow may be a 'normal' day and that we can just relax.
