Hi.

I'm Cloud. I can be pretty short-worded sometimes, so I hope that's not an issue. Once I get into characters and story lines/role playing, I'll start spewing more. Until then, though, I'm pretty concise.

Also, I've determined I like tali's. I want a sky tali but I don't know when that day will be. I finally fledged out one of my characters, so after I initiate my own system (so I don't break any rules) and finish the profile up, I'll be ready for roleplaying.

I have good news for you! Sky Talis are actually not that hard to trade for! If you head to our "Advertise!" section, you can probably find one for a not-terribly-large amount of KS! ^_^

If you have any questions about our site, feel free to ask! But I would recommend:

Setting up a Zoo Pen to put all the pets you've collected.

Going to the "Advertise" section, the "Roleplay Advertisements" subsection, and finding an RP partner! The best way to learn is often by doing. And writing short replies ain't no thang! We do have rules about post length, but it's in sentences, not words. We CAN be long-winded, but I think a lot of us, busy as we are, appreciate nice short posts we can go back and forth with quickly and easily.

Alright! I can definitely maintain the minimum sentence count for roleplays... On the side though, I'll be a little more quiet. That's really nice to know sky tali's are within my grasp! (I already know what my goal is...) I'm pretty ready for roleplaying... I've created two characters in my zoo so far. This seems exciting!

I was sadly eyeing some of the example colorations on the site as well - I'm glad you asked about how to get the sky tali cus right now I had no idea where to even begin getting pets that weren't up for free adoption!

And hey, you know me, i'm always up for roleplaying whenever

Yeah, if you're looking for non-free pet colorations, the way to get 'em is to trade with other users. Sky, Treasure, Bleached, and Fungal--the ones that used to be up for free adoption--are usually the easiest ones to get, since many people adopt the max number of those before they retire so they have many to trade. Evolvers (pets with an arrow near their portrait on the site) tend to be slightly more difficult to trade for, and one-off colorations tend to be the most difficult to get. However, some are more difficult than others to trade for. If you go HERE, you can learn which pets came from where--generally, Easter pets tend to be the easiest to trade for, then Halloween, then Christmas, then War, with a couple oddballs in between the various levels out there.

Welcome to Evelon, Cloud! I know how intimidating it might be to join a new site with all these new people, but have no fear, we won't bite! In fact, most everyone here is super friendly and always willing to go out of their way to help out newbies, so don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions! I hope this place will soon become a second home to you like it has for the rest of us! ^^

I agree with the statement that some of our members will appreciate more concise RP replies! There are all sorts of people here, some who like reeeeally long replies and some who like really short ones (as long as they're within the 5 sentence rule and give them something to respond to of course)! So don't worry about being sort of short-worded. C: I'm sure you'll fit right in!

Cloudwilk! Very good, this is very good. Welcome to Evelon. I see you have been coming to understand the mechanics of the site pretty well, too. Also, Tali's are awesome, but I haven't been able to decide on a color to get yet. My personal favorites are Felloxes and Fenlings. Why they are both fox based, I don't know, they just are.

Since you're new, definitely check out Huntsman's Hall since you can claim a free custom pet there using a Newbie Token : ) We also have a war plot going on where you can join a side and roleplay to get points for your side!

Wishing you good luck on finding a Sky Tali <3 I unfortunately don't have one, else I'd be more than happy to give it to you for free : ( But there definitely should be some lying around!

Haven't been able to find one yet, but I appreciate the thought ^^ I would be interested in joining the war plot but I'll have to do a little more research first! I look forward to my custom! I usually don't get art of him on role playing sites, though he's always the first one I recommend, as he is my own main character... Thanks for all the welcomes, by the way.
