Well, at least this Kuhna didn't look so fierce. Definitely not Prometheus-level scary. Tobias felt for the poor kid, though. Being out here looked tough! Then again... He'd seen who'd been in here before him. The Purine war hero, Krii Dashall! And he'd stormed off in a huff! Maybe there was more to this kiddo than met the eye.

He'd start off with a gentle spell. A simple Tingling Blast. He pointed his wand at the Kuni and shouted."TINGLE TANGLE TABERITI!"

Oh no, he thought, magic! Now what? However, the Kuni took a deep breath and dove forwards in a somersault, trying to avoid the blast. Hopefully it wasn't one of those kinds of magic attacks that spread out around the whole room. Meanwhile, he tried to give the rabbit a bite on the ear. That, he figured, was his most sensitive part.

Oh, rats! He was charging him! Luckily, Tobias had his magic jacket. As always. He grabbed the edge and spun, ducking beneath it and into that mysterious space inside his pockets. He reappeared on the other side of the battlefield, unharmed.

"Nyeh!" he said. "Maybe now I can sneak-attack him! BOOM!"

Once again, he chanted the "Tingle" spell.

What? The Meji had disappeared! The Kuni squeaked angrily and turned around, before noticing the Meji standing at the other side of the room. Aha! He raced forward, hoping to meet the Meji when it came at him.

The spell hit the ground, rocketing off at an angle and striking a lighting fixture. Ooops! Maybe ray-type spells weren't the best ones for this arena. Didn't want to have to pay any damages.

Now there was a nice, relatively safe spell! He'd picked it up from a young wizard he'd met once while traveling. He jabbed his wand toward the Kuni. "MAGIC BIG TRICK!"

Magic big trick? Now what was that, he wondered. However, he had no time to wonder, since he didn't want to get hit. Instead, he did another somersault, vaulting forwards, this time going straight for the face.

(I think I need to make this Kuni an official character after this ends. :3 Also, I thought Cloak Dance cut your opponent's accuracy in half, not reduced the actual percentage.)

((The official desc. for Cloak Dance (and the other skills that toy with Accuracy) is "+50% chance to miss, which implies that it's the percentage itself that's being added. And that's also what I remember Draiz doing with Fluffy when he fought. So that's what I'm going by.))

However much damage he does, Dive for Cover will auto-activate! MISS!

Right where Tobias jabbed his wand, a big, rattly tin pan fell out of the sky and clanged against the ground. It vanished in a puff of smoke soon afterwards. But he'd missed! of all the things! Luckily, that particular wizard had taught him quite a few things. He pointed again.

"MAGIC FLOWER INSTRUMENT!" Big, sparkling cascades of fireworks erupted from the tip of his wand. They'd sting if they hit, but not do much damage.

Oh dear! Now those sparks looked like they'd hurt! The Kuni quickly dashed forwards, hoping to get out of the way. They wouldn't spread out and follow him like guided missles, would they? He certainly hoped they wouldn't, but if that happened he just might get hit!

(Just think that'd be odd, because if you had two accuracy-lowering traits the opponent could never hit you)

Tobias had to feint out of the way of another nibble, but he managed to dodge it. His fireworks were a complete bust, though. Dang it! Could he even get this guy? He dodged everything!

"I give!" he shouted. "Never mind. You're too good at dodging, kid. I give up." He even stuffed his wand away to make a point.

The Kuni panted. He'd won...again? Wow, that was getting a little odd. His dodging skills were pretty good, he guessed. However, he knew the Meji wasn't the last challenger...who would be next, he wondered?

Truthfully, he wasn't looking forward to this.

Odhran generally considered himself something of a pacifist. Well, not a true, won't-fight-ever one, but generally someone who preferred to avoid violence. Though... He supposed just a little fight for fun wasn't too bad. The idea still slightly worried him, though. What if he accidentally really hurt somebody?

He wandered in to the sound of cheers. Which was... pretty nice, he thought. If they knew who they were cheering, he figured, they wouldn't be. He wasn't all that impressive.

"...Hi," he nodded to his opponent. It was a Kuni. "Um... Good luck?

The Kuni gulped. At least this one was nice-seeming. Oh well-he had to attack. So he lunged forward, going for a headbutt this time. He really didn't want to hurt someone who was acting so nice to him.

He seemed to be the faster one here. But his enemy was so small! How would he ever hit? Maybe if he just ran really fast.

Uh-oh! That guy looked pretty vicious! The Kuni quickly leapt into the air. Maybe he could get onto the creature's head, where it couldn't hit him. That semi-strategy had worked quite well, so far...

((Whoops. Just looked it up. Entangling Roots actually traps an opponent until they make a successful escape roll. We'll go with those rules... if I use the skill. ))

Like so many before him, Odhran found himself unable to get a lock-on on that Kuni. It dodged everything! Hooves scraping, Odhran careened toward the other side of the arena, locking his legs in place. He skidded to a stop, and stumbled to turn around. Man! Snorting, hooves sparking, he charged again. He WOULD strike! He would!
