"well it's campsite the smells you smell are those tuskow over there we are heading back to my ranch" jarenden said

"Yeah. It's actually pretty cool, although it hurts sometimes." Odie laughed, sticking a finger in her ear as Mika protested. Well excuuuuuse me Ms. OMG-look-there-are-people-let-us-go-and-make-friends-with-people-who-could-be-axe-murderers! "You're so paranoid." Odie giggled at Mika, and turned to smile at Rilion. "So, is this place yours?"

"We are actually ranchers. So yeah this place is ours." Rilion said

"This is my dragon horse Frosttail. The gold dragon is Rilion's dragon, and the temple cavalion is Blaze." Jarenden said

Among all the common tuskow was a saffron yingshee obviously a companion to the dragon that jarenden owned

"Cool! I've always wanted to go on a ranch!!! Mom would never allow it though... to dirty." Odie's thoughts were interrupted by Mika's annoying comments, Yes, and your mother was a smart lady. You listen to her sometime? "Mom should be in asylum." Odie argued out loud, but caught herself in the middle of the sentence. She turned bright red in front of the three before her. Nice job. Now they all know your mother's a scatter-brained freak! Mika laughed. "Oh, shuddup you scaley beast." Odie hissed under her breath, forcing a wide smile. "How many pets live here?" She changed the subject rapidly.

"actually the ranch is very clean. there a total of 18 animals here" rilion said

"He is right it is a very clean place. The only reason the tuskow stink right now is because they haven't been groomed yet." a large saffron fellox said

"Oh, um...wow!" Odie smiled crookedly at the fellox. "Thanks." Odie laughed once, and pulled herself to sit on Mika's saddle, propping her legs up on the edge like she was waiting for a long conversation to start. "So are you guys related or somethin?" Odie motioned to the two guys. She was partially interrupted by more of Mika's sass. Dragon. Hungry. Are you paying attention to me Odisseus?" "Trying not to, Mikaeyla." That's not even my real name! "Don't care." Odie giggled at how funny she must look, seemingly talking to herself.

"umm sort of my parents died and jarenden took me in and cared for me." rilion said he was crying.

jarnden sighed and hugged rilion "You can't change the past rilion." jarenden said as he held him closer

Odie stopped short in her tracks, holding Mika back also. "Oh. Sorry. My dad's gone to." she said blandly, pushing the thoughts out of her mind. He was a great man, Odie... Mika actually sounded... almost apologetic. Odie just nodded, and leaned against the big dragon. "So... Why is Sio here? You guys know each other from somehwere?" Odie tried to change the subject, tucking the cherry blossom behind her ear farther back.

"We just met her a few seconds ago." Jarenden said as put rilion down on a bed of furs.

"Yep thats true." bell said

(The yingshee is called Bell and The saffron Fellox is called Aniu both of them are girls. oh the dragon is called Blaze he is boy )

"Okay? So... okay." Odie shrugged, looking at Rilion, then at Jarenden. Odie's eyes trailed over Bell, and she let her hand bury itself in the yellow fur. "Wow. She's soft! So... need any help with washing the animals, or whatever you were going to do before I... stumbled in?" Work??? Mika complained loudly. Odie ignored her.

"Yes i would certainly appreaciate the help; There is a deer herd not to far from here your dragon could easily pick off one or two of the deer and get some food" jarenden said


"Yes i am very soft." bell said

Odie flinched when Jarenden mentioned the deer, feeling Mika growl. I'm a vegetarian... Mika hissed, even though she knew the man couldn't hear her. "She's a vegetarian." Odie said for Mika out loud. If they happen to have an apple or grape tree near by... Mika insisted. "Grapes grow on vines!" Odie hissed, so only Mika could hear. "But, sure, who needs bathing first?

"Hey the apple tree is over there." bell said and walked over to it and jumped up pulling an apple off the tree and eating it.

jarenden whistled and the orange tuskow came walking up "this one needs to be groomed before all the others i'll groom the others. He is very gentle. Siophra can you make sure rilion doesn't go anywhere when he wakes up." jarenden said

APPLESAPPLESAPPLES!!! Mika screamed, lunging for the tree and swallowing half of the tree, leaves and all. "MIKA HOW RUDE ARE YOU?!?!" Odie screamed at the content dragon. Maybe someone shoulda fed me on the way here?!?! Mika growled, swallowing what was in her mouth. "Ah... so sorry!" Odie apologized, blushing and grabbing the animal Jarenden offered her. "sorry about all these questions, but what do you guys use to groom 'em?"

"oh i'll get  the brushes." jarenden said and came back with some brushes and handed her one of the brushes.


rilion awoke to find himself on a bed of furs. He stood up and decided to go for a walk.
