((And for Max. Now she's getting the short ones xD))

I followed Iggy to the other side of the room, reaching the sill just as he pushed himself onto it. "Ig, calm down...I-" but he was gone before I could say anything more. I rolled my eyes and turned to face the rest of the room of people. "Fang, we're just going to go get groceries. Can you keep an eye on everyone?" I gave him a knowing look, saying 'you know what I mean'. And then with a quick smile and wave, I jumped form the window, unfirling my wings again and letting the updrafts pull me higher and higher until I was about level with the dot in front of me that was sure to be Iggy. I kicked up the speed a bit knowing I could catch up in a second. But I wanted to let him cool off, think it over a bit, before I talked to him.

After a few minutes, I sped forward. That's when I noticed another figure, a bit lower and not as obvious. I squinted and barely made out Jazz's figure. What was she doing here? I bit down on my lip. Should I go confront her? Or leave her be? Maybe she felt bad about whatever she'd said? I had an idea of what it could have been about, but decided to forget about it. Instead, I pushed forward and came up beside Iggy. After a moment of silence I finally said "We'll be in town in another minute. Maybe we should go lower?"

Jazz) "Oh, $@!#," I muttered as Max sped up to Iggy. We all rode in silence for a while. I listened hard as I heard Max say that they should "go lower". "Oh. No, this is bad," I muttered to myself. I sighed. Time to stop hiding. If they see me, they see me. I shrugged to myself and continued flying.

((Lol the bleeding's finally stopped. Never a bad thing. xD Oh and I think this is gonna be my last post for the night, as well as Kitteh's. 3 am's my dummy hour. I start losing my grip on anything that makes entire sense, so my posts will start to get all trippy if I keep writing. Nyehhhhh o3o))

I felt a gentle push of air as Max glided next to me. Our wings moved in synch almost instantly, and for a few beats, neither of us spoke. I rubbed my eyebrows.

"We'll be in town in another minute. Maybe we should go lower?"

My attention slid back to Max at the sudden breaking of silence. Damn. Got at least a few glorious seconds. I could feel my irritation scratching back up at Max's suggestion. I tried shrugging it away. She was just helping out. And stating the obvious. Ugh. Cool it, Iggy. I dipped lower, matching Max's altitude. There were a third set of wings? The pattern sounded unfamiliar, but not entirely. My neck hairs rose when I fit the pattern to a face.

I rolled my eyes and pushed my wings faster.

Jazz) I felt Iggy's irritation spike up again as he tried to get away from me. I shrugged. I was going with them, and they couldn't stop me. I was guarding them wether they like it or not. So they could deal.

We were almost to town. My guess is, we'd have to trek the rest of the way because of our wings. UGh. I used my limited time to fly out my emotions. I changed direction and sped upward, then I banked left and curled up for a loop - de - loop.

I flew upside down for a bit, until I saw a dirt road.  I turned back upwards and was about to angle down, but I felt presences and dark emotions on my senses, so I dropped like a stone instead so I could go numb to see what was going on. I knew it would hurt, but this was important. As I was coated in dust from my impact, a helicopter flew over me. The emotions were inside, and they were evil. I stayed still, and my disguise must've worked because the helicopter flew away towards California... *dundundun*

I stood up and brushed myself off and ran towards town to catch up with the others to tell them what happened.

((Max's post o3o Jazz kinda reminds me of Max xD))

I fell quiet, realizing that Iggy probably wanted silence. It was so weird for me though, I didn't usually act this way. I shook my head and listened to the beat of our wings before tilting slightly and beginning my descent. I knew Iggy would follow. He always knew when to follow. We were just on the edge of town so I had to go down quickly. I landed with a loud thump, brushed myself off, hid my wings and headed for the main street.

[Ashes]

"Fang, I need to tell you something." I said, and told him about the car from one of the others'  thoughts, and then the helicopter from when I was flying. This was very bad. 'We need to get away" I said, trying not to panic.

[Azure]

I skipped straight into a jog as I folded my wings and hit the ground. Jazz seemed to have gotten distracted with something else and flew in some other direction. I heard Max's shoes slap the pavement close behind.

For a good minute I kept up the pace, until the buzz of a populated town reached its peak. Slowing to a walk, I strode along a sidewalk until I felt the slight change of temperature. Slightly cooler. I was in the shade. As Max had told me before, the town's grocery store had a strip of roof at the front that left a shelter in front of the main doors. A blast of veggies and cardboard assaulted my nostrils as the store's automatic doors hummed open. I stepped inside and turned left with only dill pickle chips in mind. Screw everyone else, I wanted some dill.

Jazz) I had to tell them before they got into town. I pulled my wings in and packed on all of my speed to catch up. "Wait," I panted at them when I got there. "Max! Iggy... please, you have to listen to me... I was just flying, and I sensed something on the edge of my "Radar". It was big, and it felt dark. I dropped down to observe hidden. It was a giant helicopter, and it had evil things in it... I hid in the dirt and it hovered above me for a minute and then it left for California... It seemed to be searching for something..." I trailed off after I got my breath back, thinking...

I followed Iggy as he slipped down the street and towards the grocery store. He knew his way around very well and didn't seem to have any difficulty getting to the store. I followed him inside as he immediately turned and headed to the oposite end of the store. Junk food section. I sighed and decided to let him have what he wants and cool his head. Instead of going along with him, I turned and started up and down the aisles, looking for something easy and quick to make for the group of people. This was going to be difficult. And how long were they going to be staying anyways? I didn't feel comfortable with them around.

Jazz's voice echoed from somewhere inside the store and she came skidding around the corner. Spotting me she launched into a babble of words that barely connected in my brain. But I got 'dark' and 'helicopter' and my senses kicked into full alert. Whether I, or Iggy, found Jazz annoying at the moment, I knew that she was telling the truth and that I had to listen to her. She seemed too innocent to be lying. I waved a hand and steadied my racing heart. Nothing was happening yet, we're okay. I had to get back though.

"'Kay, keep your voice down. Someone could hear. Let's get Iggy and then get back." I said. I was now calm again. It had been a while since the flock had had to deal with this kind of thing so I hadn't been ready for it. I sighed and headed towards the chip section calling Iggy's name.

(Sorry for not posting. My limit up was 12:30... And I didn't get up til 10... But oh well!)

Fang looked at Angel and bolted up wards. He looked at everyone. He muttered a cuss under his breath and looked up. "People!" He called addressing the smallish crowd. "We have a problem. I don't know where all of you came from but There back. If any of you have back packs, we might as well stick together since were all the same. Grab as much food and water and other stuff that you can carry. Were headed out,"

I looked at Fang surprised. I sighed and pulled out my trusty pack. I looked around the kitchen for things to eat and things to drink.

Ash watched the girl serve those old men. He laughed silently. He walked out from where he was hiding and approached here. She was a kitten. Cute. He walked over to her and said, "Hey! Great moves back there."

Jazz) Max went all still and paniced as I told her wha was going on. Her emotions were in turmoil: fear, anger, sorrow, and panic. This is bad, I thought as she went to get Iggy. I followed close behind, fearing I ggy might still be angry. I felt dull irritation in him, that's all... I only hoped it wouldn't spike up again. "Max, I'm going outside to guard until you come out," I said as I turned to go to the entrance so I wouldn't anger Iggy.

[Ashes]

I grabbed a small pack and hovered near fang, nervous. "Max, I have an idea. We form one team. Who can fight?" I asked the crowd, trying to get their attention. "Lets all stay together, keep a wary eye, ans move! "If I had yo be a potty mouth, then I would. Erasers were coming. I whimpered, feeling worried and afraid. "I need... Someone to keep close" I said, and went into the sky, keep a lookout.

"Okay," Said Fang. "Were gonna head to the store once everyone has there packs ready. Were gonna meet Max and Iggy there. Lets try not to panic," Fang said with no sign of panic in his voice.

I picked up my backpack and put it on my back. I had already stuffed it full.

"Ok, fang, now where do we go once were ready? " I asked in a whisper, keeping low.

"Were gonna head toward town," Fang said as simply as that. "They've found this house before, so lets not let them do it again."
