"I think we should head for the trees, cover, or just set bombs up and let them THINK were there. How fast can Gazzy and Iggy make a bomb?" I asked, worried and trying to protect us.

Fang turned to Angel. He put his hands on her shoulder and looked her in the eyes. "Calm down. Max put me in charge while she was gone. I need you to go pack Max and Iggy a back pack. Can you do that for me?" Fang asked soothingly. Fang turned to the crowd. "We need to buy us some time. So is everyone ready to leave?"

Jake) Jake turned to Joey. "Are you ready?" he asked her. He knew he was ready. He had been training in the desert for almost his whole life. He wasn't afraid of Them or death, just losing others. He knew he was ready.

[Azure]

"Hmm?" I turned around with six bags of chips wrapped in my arms at my sides when Max called out my name. I dropped a bag when I heard her steps round the corner of the aisle, another set flanking hers. Lovely. Kicking the chip bag on the floor closer to the shelves, but still holding the other five, I strode up to the two bird kids. Jazz said something about guarding outside before dashing away. I cocked my head in Max's direction. "What's going on?"

Gazzy buzzed around the house, snatching all the comic books and bomb equipment that he could and stuffing them in his backpack. Seeing everyone else waiting for him, Gazzy hurried to Fang's side, saluting the older bird kid. "Ready for takeoff."

Jazz) I sensed confusion in Ig as I made my way outside before he could talk to me. I sat on the ground outside the entrance, trembling. Go numb, I gently told myself. Go numb... I felt myself go.

My senses picked up a few passersby who stared at me in shock and disbelief. I just sat there, pushing my power to the limit. I pushed it all the way back to the house. Everyone was either scared, confused or paniced.

I sighed and focused for Jake. He wasn't anything. He stood there on the frontlines like a soldier. Like old times... I thought, smiling. My little soldier.

((Yays! Sen gets to post o3o And Angel is kind of teleporting...so for now I'm gonna say she's with Fang and kinda ignore the questions to Max if you don't mind. Also, sorry Ash but Sen's gonna freak and run off. She's had enough contact with people today and Azure and I were planning on having Iggy and Sen bump into each other xD))

"hey! Great moves back there!" Sen leaped three feet in the air, almost literally, a squeek escaping her mouth. Turning to face the voice she met the eyes of a boy - or rather the hair over the eyes of a boy. He wore a bowler hat and a long coat thing. She took a step back, pushing the hat down harder in hopes of keeping it on her head. She didn't say anything but instead watched him carefully. He didn't seem drunk like the other two...but she still didn't trust him. She never trusted anyone. Or at least she rarely did. So instead of responding to his question, she turned and bolted, springing easily up onto a dumpster and over another fence, spinning around a corner and flying out onto the open street.

Ugh! I am never going into an alley again. Why did I do that in the first place? She glanced about, spotting a grocery store and sighing, shoulders slumping. Right. That's why. I guess I should go grab something cheap. Maybe I can get a small sandwhich or something for a buck or two. Sen crossed her arms over her chest and headed into the store. She arrived at the snack section and found a bag of chips for only a dollar, grabbing it and turning quickly. She smacked hard into someone tall - much taller then her. Thanks to her extremely light weight, she toppled in a second, bag of chips sliding across the floor - along with her hat. She gasped and grabbed for it, placing it back over her head, then glanced around to see if anyone had seen. She only hoped that the guy she'd bumped into hadn't noticed.

Jazz) I sat there, then noticed a new presence... irritated and frightened... maybe untrustful... I stood. "I'm going to go back in," I told myself, but as I headed to go back in, I brushed by another tall figure... I turned to see a boy with hair in his eyes. "I'm sorry," I muttered as I headed inside to see if everyone was alright inside.

((For Max, since Iggy's doesn't make sense unless I get her moving))

I nodded as Jazz said she'd guard outside. Iggy asked what was going on and I shrugged. "Something bad. No idea, but it has something to do with a chopper." I mumbled, looking at the armful of chips. I rolled my eyes, knowing he couldn't see it, then turned away. "Pick three bags and lets go. Quick. We don't have time to laze around." she turned away and headed for the front just as Jazz came my. I grabbed her arm to stop her, then realized what I was doing and let go.

"Jazz, we gotta get going! Iggy will be here soon. He'll catch up. Don't you want to get back to make sure Jake is okay?"

I tensed my legs to follow Max outside of the grocery store when something collided into my back. I jerked forward, not expecting someone to have been that close behind me. I didn't even hear footsteps, but then again, I hadn't been paying attention there. The figure yelped and something slid across the floor. The person skittered over to the fallen item-- a bag of chips? I stepped toward the person and offered a hand. "Watch where you're going. You okay?"

Jazz) I came in just in time to see a fallen girl on the floor and Iggy helping her up. I got close enough to sense no more negative emotions. Everyone was just curious, including me.

"Hey..." I said quietly as I came up, trying to stay out of everyone's way. "I'm Jazz... are you alright?"

Ash stood there for a minute after the kitty cat ran off. Ash then bolted after it. He brushed the hair out of his eyes to show icy blue eyes. He got to the grocery store and stood in front of it for a second he was about to walk away and then he realized he might as well go in. He walked in and eyed down the snack aisle. He saw a group of kids. He saw the cat girl. He then went down the aisle right next to that one and listened.

I looked at Jake. A grin trickled its self on my face. "I'm ready. I've been ready for ages," I think back to all the training on the mountain.

Fang looked at Gazzy. What is taking them so long? Fang looked around starting to worry. "Okay guys. If were all ready, then lets go!" Fang stood on the edge of the window, holding Max's bag. He gave Iggy's bag to Gazzy. He jumped out and watched as everyone followed him.

Jake) Jake smiled at Joey. "So have I..." he whispered to her as he whipped out his jay - feather blue wings and jumped off the cliff after Fang.

Jazz) I felt another dude behind me. Too close for comfort as I whipped around. "You are?" I asked, my tone icy and protective. I wasn't trusting of this fellow right away. He felt secretive...

Ash jumped at the girl finding him behind the other aisle. "Um... erm.... Nobody?" He murmured. He looked at the shelf as if he was looking for something. His ears quivered under his hat.

I smiled and jumped out the window after Jake. I loved flying.

Fang led the group toward the town. He watched as they started to approach the grocery store.

Sen tucked her hand into her sleeve so that he wasn't holding a dirt-filled hand took the boy's, though she could easily have gotten up herself. Once on her feet she finally got a good look at the boy. His eyes weren't focused and weren't quite meeting her's. Was he blind? She shook her head and forced a smile. "T-thanks...I'm sorry..." she mumbled and bent to grab her chips.

"Hey, I'm Jazz. Are you alright?" Sen bolted upright with another squeak of surprise. Where were all these people coming from? And why today? She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and prayed that they'd all just go away. Instead, when she opened her eyes, she saw the boy from earlier aproching her. Oh god...She took a step back and bumped into the blind kid again. A wimper escaped her mouth and she covered her face with her hands. Please, please, pleassseee go away! But then she heard another set of footsteps approaching. The Jazz girl turned to talk - quite bitterly - to the new guy while the new girl confronted this Jazz person and the blind kid.

She glanced up, saw that everyone seemed distracted, and took off. She headed for the furthest end of the store, hoping that she could just go around and to the front without them noticing. And then her foot hit the corner of a box and she fell forward, landing on her hands and knees, one hand barely reaching up in time to keep her hat on. Tears welled in her eyes. She just wanted to get away from everyone, go hide in a corner or something. She just wanted everyone to go away.

"No prob," I started, but was cut off by Jazz and Max crashing into the scene again.

I grunted when the person-- it was obviously a girl, and seemed pretty young-- elbowed me in the stomach this time. She whimpered, and there was a crunch as she stole a chip bag from the floor and took off. I knelt down to pick up the chip bag I'd dropped. It had fallen somewhere around here...

My fingers met a blue package. Blue...?

The dill pickle package was always green. "No, she couldn't have..." Sh!tty salt and vinegar. That chick stole the freaking last dill pickle bag. Kicking the bag, I stood up and tore after the girl.
