Ah, yes.  Firefur.  "Well..." Aiedail began slowly.  "I could help you; I know these woods better than most..." She said.  In her mind, she couldn't believe she was offering to help him, but that's what a "family" was supposed to do, right?  Well, if we're a "family", then we're quite a disjointed one. She thought.

Marcello rose a paw and said, "It was nothing, really.  I have a very little appetite myself right now, and I figured someone else could use these mice, even though they're small." He said, sighing.  He already missed his brother more than he expected...

[Kelica]

Tiaine looked over to Firefur and Marcello. Psht. She's not coming out of her hole? What a coward. Well, it's not like Tia cared, but really. Almost laughable. Ah well. Now, what to do... Why was it always her who had nothing to do? Why did she have to have such a short attention span? It would save her a lot of wasted time...

jungin looked at his leader. ''You can take something to Firefur. I will continue to search for me.'' Jungin hated drinking the blood of prey he had not cought himself, but he knew that Firefur would like to have something to eat.


Firefur nodded to Marcello, she was wondering if it was his brother that were suppose to keep watch over the clan. She could understand that he were a little deppressed. She started to eat one of the mice. She was hungry. Or was she not? No, she was hungry, but she was wondering where was Jungin. She knew that he was always bringing something for her.

Aiedail smiled as she scampered off, soon finding a rabbit and putting a peaceful end to its life.  Withinw minutes, she was to where Firefur was, but was also surprised to see Marcello there.  "Good day to you, Firefur, and to you as well, Marcello." She said, moving to place the rabbit in front of Firefur.  "Jungin asked me if I might bring you some food while he continues to hunt for himself.  And Marcello--" She said, turning to the red fox and sighing.  "I'm sorry that I chose to put your brother on the night watch.  I should have known better..." She said.  marcello shook his head.  "Death is a natural part of life.  All must experience it at one point or another."

"I know..." Aie said.  "I just hate to see yet another fox fall under my leadership..." She said, and then, she raised her snout to the air.  Blast!  They're coming again! She thought, her fur bristling.

[Kelica]

A strange scent entered the air. Humans?... Tiaine smiled a wicked smile, and a gleam of excitement appeared in her eyes. They were big, they must have lots of blood. Mm. Blood. She'd risk her life for it. Besides, she thirsted for battle. This could be fun. But then again, she didn't even see the downsides to the fight....

((I guess I'mma wait to introduce my new char. Since the humans are coming, I really think it's not a good time. ^^;))

Jungin raised his head. Humans? Now? It was perfect. THis was the easiest prey of all. He decided that he should go back to camp before doing anything thought. He ran as fast as he could back to the camp. He stopped when he was in.


Firefur greeted Aiedail with a wave of her tail. She was eating her mice, and she was listening to Aiedail and Marcello as they were speaking. The fox that died really was Marcello's brother.

Firefur couldn't small anything exept her mice. It's only she saw her leader's fur bristling that she noticed something was wrong.

By now, both Marcello and Aie were standing, ready to attack.  Marcello was ready to attack for the fact that his brother had been killed by these hunters, and Aiedail, being the leader of the clan, wasn't about to let any more foxes die under her watch.  Not now.  Not when she was coming to terms with herself about the last one...

[Kelica]

Tiaine was by now in a battle-ready position, her tail twitching in impatience. Her fur was bristling, her eyes gleaming in excitement. How slow are they? Hurry up.... Tiaine now wants blood, and nothing would stop her from getting it. Especially not sloppy footwork.

Jungin had had the time to return, and he was walking over to his leader. He would wait for her orders. This was the least he would do.

Firefur was a little nervous. She would have wanted to be more ready before the humans came back, but it seemed that she would have to be ready now.

Aiedail turned to Marcello, Jungin, and Tianie and said, "They're nearly here now.  Whatever you do, don't turn your back on them, and don't let them get the upper hand." Marcello nodded before he crouched, ready to lunge at the first human he saw.

Of course, the humans blundered into the territory, making quite a racket.  "ATTACK!" Cried Aiedail, and she and Marcello leapt at the humans, teeth barred and claws extended.

Tiaine jumped as soon as Aiedail said attack. She sunk her teeth into the leg of one, who was then practically dancing to get her off. Tiaine pawed his gun away before he could reach it, but then he bit onto her ear, making her yelp and jump off. "Never knew you weren't so dependent on inanimate objects." She said, smirking.

There was no way Jungin would stay behind and wait when he had an attack order. He jumped on the nearest human and bit in his leg. THe human yowled in pain and droped his gun. Jungin could taste human blood. 'Great taste!' He tought. Then, he raised his claws and dug them in the humans leg. The human yowled even loader, and tried to take Jungin off with his hands.


Firefur had decide to forget about her mice and fight. She jumped on another human high enough to climb on him, ang go bite in his throat. The human resisted to make any sound, but he was trying to get her off with one of his hands. He took a small hand gun with other and place it at Firefur's head.

Aiedail decided that now was not the time to go on injuring another human when another one of hers was in so much danger.  Turning from the human she was biting, she leapt onto the human that was ready to shoot Firefur.  Marcello saw her leap, and shouted, "What are you doing, Aie?!" Aie didn't hear him, though; just her own startled "Oof" and the sound of a gun being loaded.  She looked up to only see the ravenous hunger for wealth in the human's eyes.  Of course, she was albino... people adored albinos for their rare white furs.  She could almost feel the bullet sailing towards her now...

Tiaine looked towards the hunter with Aiedail on him. Tia wasn't one to care, but their leader being killed wouldn't do any of them good. She pounced to his legs, looking to disable this human as well. Only her claws sunk in, but she bounced back to her original position, licking the warm blood off her claws.

Jungin jumped back on ther human as he was trying to shot Aiedail. ''You won't Kill anyone.'' He yowled before biting his arm. Jungin wasn't fighting  only to protect his clan, or to drink blood, he wanted to show the humans what it meant to kill his clan mates.


Firefur walked away a little. She had been close to die and it was thanks to her leader she was still alive. She looked arround to see an other human coming toward them. He was smaller. 'A kid?' She thought. That was perfect. She jumped on the kid and bit as hard as she could in his neck.
