The human that had been going to shoot at Aiedail was knocked over by Tia and Jungin, letting out a cry of pain.  He struck Tiaine before turning to get up, trying to shake Jungin from his leg.  Marcello redirected his attention to Firefur, who had sprung onto the younger human.  He restrained himself from attacking and ran over to Aie.  "You all right?" He asked.

Aie was still a little too shaken to answer just yet.

Tiaine almost lost balance after being struck. "Owwww." She said, on the verge of fainting. But she couldn't faint now! There was blood to eat, and the camp to protect.... Wait, protect the camp? That wasn't supposed to be priority... Anyway, she pulled herself to her feet, steadying herself, and then leaping to another human...

Jungin saw that Firefur had jumped on that kid and he knew that at least one of the older human would try to help him. He noticed that the one that was looking like he wanted to get to the kid, was the human he was holding. I let him go and decided to wait a little before doing anything else.


Firefur saw that the human Jungin had released was runing toward her. She let go of the kid, who was now lying on the ground, and she backed away. She was still ready to fight if the human decided to attack her. But it seemed the human yowled to the other humans. The older human took the kid, turned and began walking away. 'Were they leaving?' She thought.

Marcello now leapt in front of Firefur, ready to defend one of his fellow clan members when the humans all started to fall back.  The one that Tiaine had gone to attack flung her aside, moving to follow the other humans.  Aie sat down now, panting.  "Do... do you think we ought to go elsewhere now?" She asked.  Marcello shrugged.

Tiaine looked over at Aiedail. "Staying means more fighting. Even I have to relax a little." She said, padding over to join the group. "It would be better if we went...." Even she admitted it...

The only thing Jungin could do right now was staring at the humans as they were escaping. They had win this fight, but he knew that they wouldn't win all the fights.

Firefur joined the others too. ''I don't really care if we stay or if we leave, but I think that we already lost too many friends. If we decide to stay, we have to make those humans stay away from us.'' She was saying that, but she really doubt there was away to make the humans stop coming here to hunt them.

Aiedail rose her head.  "Then let us be gone from here.  We have lost too many people for me to be comfortable in this same territory.  The humans know no boundaries here, in our woodland." She said, putting extra emphasis on our.  Marcello had stalked off now, going off to his brother's grave to "say a final goodbye", as he would later word it.
