((=l Yes, this is going to be an RP, about dolls! Because I've been having a strong craving for something close to Rozen Maiden, and this shall be my guilty love-child of that manga/anime and my ideas XD.)

Many bright lights litter small rooms.  People of various appearances, situations, and statuses, building their lives' work.  They smile darkly as their hold the beautifully crafted beings in their hands, all until they realize something strange.  A smile creeping from the corners of the dolls' lips, a blink.  Shock rushes through these humans as they realize what they have created.  So much of their own life has gone into their work that the final product itself has sprung to life, fueled by a life-force that exists within their bodies.  

As these humans aged, they slowly created more and more dolls, hundreds starting to populate the earth as living beings.  They merely looked like children, but could possibly have seen a century pass as their masters passed away and moved on to a rather strange after-life in a place called the Mirror World.  Without their masters, still alive and kicking, the dolls soon set out for places to survive until they could find purpose of the terrible ordeal that had befallen them.  

About ten years after the last "doll-makers" as they were called, died, these doll-makers turned on a sudden spark, a strange switch which triggered a message in the dolls' minds.  This message ominously told of a dangerous game, in which the dolls would have to take one another's life forces, gaining their powers and memories.  The message also warned that this battle would take centuries, even milleniae to solve, before the two hundred dolls involved were finally narrowed down to one.  This single perfect being, the Queen/King, would be given the power to bring back their master from the dead, where they would spend their lives in the world of the living for eternity.

While their masters wait patiently in the Mirror World, giving cryptic clues to their dolls, the dolls eventually figured out that they had to seek out human mediums, so that the dolls could use their life force to their full potential, giving them unique, "doll-maker" given powers.  With two hundred dolls scattered all around the world, a global conflict begins to draw tension as the dolls soon find human mediums.

Obtaining a human medium is not always easy.  Dolls can draw humans into a contract by making them wear a ring and human proceeding to kiss the ring on the doll's finger, finalizing the contract.  A second way for a doll to draw a contract with a human by getting the human to wear some other form of jewelry, such as a necklace or earring.

Personality: Akane Aiko is a very clumsy girl.  She often depends on her doll sisters and brothers to survive because of her frail body and slightly lacking abilities.  Because she acts very trusting of her doll friends, she is easily taken advantage of.  Akane Aiko is also not afraid to associate with humans, and is often seen asking a human for a favor.  Akane Aiko is not always the brightest bulb of them all, but she has a love for the other dolls which makes her a trusting ally.  Because of her love for life and the other dolls, she rarely uses her offensive powers.
History: Akane Aiko was the youngest work of a female doll maker named Airi Sanjou.  Sanjou oftend told this doll that she was favored over most of the other dolls, despite the fact that the two other dolls that Sanjou made were definitely more powerful and willing to survive.  Sanjou last thought before she died that this doll would be the one that would make it the furthest, knowing that even though though she lacks decent powers, her ability to charm others out of hurting her would get her far.
Powers: The power which she rarely uses is her offensive power.  This offensive power allows her to summon a scarlet baton with rubies on both ends.  This baton can be thrown wherever Akane Aiko wishes, but without a medium, can only be thrown so far before it loses control, or simply returns back to her.  This baton creates sparks when it hits the opponent, thus lighting the enemy on fire, a very potent weapon.  Without a medium, though, it merely provides the opponent a rather hard hit, giving Akane Aiko a chance to escape possible attack.  The next power that Akane Aiko has allows her to quickly take flight.  Although most dolls can quickly jump far and high, Akane Aiko can actually take flight, with bright red wings popping out of a longer version of Akane Aiko's baton.  Without her medium, she cannot use this power at all.  Her third power, which is her second power currently because she has no medium, is the power to charm.  Her soft voice and childish looks allow her to slightly charm the other dolls, giving her a chance to escape while they are still caught in a trance.  This five second trance of infatuation does not occur with dolls that look like females, and only occurs for three seconds without a medium.
