Shadow sighed in relief when he saw Amy was latched onto Sonic's back. He thought about what would happen if she was still in there.

"Good thing you're here Amy." Sonic said.

Amy smiled and blushed.  "Y-yeah...  Good thing..."  She was smiling and thought, Oh my god!  sonic is holding onto me!  Eeee!  Her heart was pounding like crazy.

[Jetfire]

Shadow saw Amy blush. He turned away to admire his work. All of the sudden he fell. He had burns. When he fell he was knocked out.

Amy looked as Shadow fell on the floor, passed out.  She got off of Sonic's back and went to Shadow's aid.  Bending down, Amy looked at the burns and tried to see if shadow could hear her voice.  "Shadow.  Shadow are you alright?" she asked, worried.

Shadow laid there. He sucked out all of his strength to try and push him self up but failed. He uttered one word " Maria.... "

[EvelonGirl]

Sonic came over. "Who's Maria?" he asked. "Hey, buddy? Wake up!!!"

[Toon-Souseiseki]

"Sonic!  Shadow Said Maria, not Marie, and I wish he could wake up.  but I think he has no more strength to even wake up.  He has burn marks all over.  We should find someone to help us out," said Amy looking worried, for she knew shadow as a friend.  Yet she doesn't know who maria is.

[Jetfire]

Shadow reached out for his chaos emeralds. He grabbed one and gained his power back. " That name. It haunts me. And this memory. I was being chased by gun soldiers and I was accompanied by a girl. They caught the girl and killed her. " Shadow said. He wondered what happened in his past.

Amy looked shocked and closed her eyes to imagine that memory.  She did and heard a gunshot from afar.  "What was that?" she asked in shock.

"Whoa." he said.

( Sure. I call Silver! )

Shadow heard the gunshot. " You two, run. I'll take care of this. " He picked up his machine gun and shot off towards the sound.
Meanwhile...
Silver was running to investigate the sound when he ran into Shadow. They went together to find the source of the sound.

Shadow went to find the source. He ran into Silver. " What are you doing here? " Shadow asked.

"Wanna run, or stay here?" Sonic asked.

Amy looked and worried about Shadow so she followed and bumped into a purple cat.  She reconized the face and gasped.  "Blaze!?  What are you doing here?" she asked.  Blaze was shocked and said, "I was looking for Silver when a dynamite exploded an area.  We were going for the Soul Emerald when i got seperated from silver in the dust cloud."  Amy saw Shadow and made blaze follow.  She saw Shadow and Blaze saw Silver.  "Silver!  there you are," said Blaze.
