What was your childhood pastime?

My favorite is the fox beanie I picked up at the flea market in PA, though. He's the cutest thing. *u*

Gah, Beanie Babies was meh luff! I still buy one or two every once in a while! x3 And I also loved Pokemon (still got a Game Boy Color, and Silver and Yellow Game Paks X3). Also got about a hundred or so Pokemon and Neopets cards, plus a few stickers that my grandparents picked up for us in Asia! ^^ And I have a MEW CARD!! Albeit, a messed up one that has the Rocket Magikarp background, the Rocket Drowzee attacks and description and says Mewtwo, but it has a picture of MEW! And I have an Umbreon and shineh Houndoom that I'm rather proud of.

And plastic animals were my luv! I had about a bazillion of them and would play with them every day - outside or inside. I used to like to take them down to the creek and play with them in there. I also played with earthworms.. X3

And I ish a complete book nerd! Every chance I get, I would sit down and READ! Read and read and read. I made it my goal to break records. I read "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" in one day. *ouch* Yeah.. I do not recommend it.

I never bought plain Beanie Babies, but I was aaaall over those McDonalds Teenies ones. I still have all of them around my promotional golden Mewtwo card from the first movie. =3

What else did I do....well theres the whole ponys thing...and I don't think this counts a childhood, but right now I'm going through my Inu-Yasha cycle. I generally switch from Naruto to Inu-Yasha over a four or five month cycle. XD

- Dinosaurs
- Volcanoes
- Outer Space (Not aliens, but planets and stars... I like Mars. And black holes, mmm....)
- Legos! I loved the underwater sets.
- Mooooovies. I watched (and still watch) a lot of movies.

Oooh, weather! I used to be so into weather. I wanted to be a meteorologist. And then I developed lilapsophobia (fear of tornadoes) and, uh, changed my career plan.

Ha! You sound a lot like me! I used to be terrified of tornadoes. If I thought I saw a "funnel cloud" forming, I went into panic mode. It's because I used to have nightmares about tornadoes...

It's worth noting I live in a hugely mountainous area, where tornadoes NEVER happen. XD

I was a doll person myself, but I played more with my extensive beanie collection and Sailor Moon dolls(OMG SAILOR MOON! *fangirl scream*) Yes, I was a Sailor Moon fan. I lurv her, I have two of the movies. She was cool, and I love the whole power based thing. But it's kind of weird that they were called Sailors... 0.o *pictures Sailor Scouts on boat swabbing deck* XD I did play with dolls though... *is such a freak* but I also loved to play with Hot Wheels, Pokemon(!! LURV POKE!!!), dinos, and, I don't know if you guys remember them, but the original Bionicle toys? They were so awesome. X3 Even though they were my cousins I loved them. Oh, and when I was 5 I started to become Miss Video Game freak. XD Oh, and to go to what you're talking about now, I was especially obsessed with dogs and cats. X3 I know a lot of breeds. There's Dalmations, Labradors(brown, black, yellow!!!(YELLOW IS LURV *my little girl*)), and so many others that you don't need to know right now... XD I also was very interested in drawing and the process of caterpillar to butterfly.

I was 7 when I got my first video game. It was Tetris Attack, which feature Yoshi characters. Thus, I became obsessed with Yoshi. =3

Hmm... Childhood pastimes?  I'd have to say that my favorites were playin' in the mud.  Come ON, who can resist the temptation to make a good, goopy mud pie?  Of course, I'm not nearly as much of a tomboy now as I was back then... music kinda took over meh life.

Oh yesh! My sister, my friend and I used to make mud pies, and pretend that we were poisoning them and feeding them to an evil queen!! xD It was fun!! And we'd make mudball art (you know, throw mudballs at a wall? x3) Oh, and I used to love walking barefoot in the mud. 'Cuz it squelches between your toes!! xD

*Still has tornado nightmares. Had one last night. And lives in Florida with LOTS of tornadoes*

I remember my sister and I would always go to the beach and dig these MASSIVE holes in the sand, and then we'd take the sand from the hole and pile it up to make a wall against the tide.

And we caught sand fleas! ^___^

That reminds me of the year when I got my puppy duchess...

We went down to my poppop's house in Delaware and my cousins came with me and my mom. So we go down to the beach and duchess starts to dig around, and me and my cousins were like, "Let's bury each other!" so we started with my one cousin and we made him look like a mermaid! It was HILARIOUS! XD My mom took a picture.

Lucky people who visit the beach a lot. I've only ever been, like, three times. XD

I remember making "mudball art!" My dad used to plant a garden in our front yard every year, and to do it he'd first dig up and mess around with the soil, and we'd throw dirt clumps at the side of our house! XD And then he'd build huge piles of dirt, and he'd turn the hose on the whole thing... and I'd play in the mud and try to make a "pond" with the water!

Gettin' dirty is fuuuun! XD
