I'm not sure... what's going on with the new Independence Kuhna... (For those who need a reminder of how it looked before)

...idk but that face.  On that marking on the hip.  It doesn't look natural.  Is this an April Fool's thing. =| (Also just going off the URL but... did the genetics for them change?  I remember them being Common/Calami genes, and this URL indicates Common/Kamo genes...)

BUT THAT ASIDE.  I like the new Independence Kuhna.  If the genetics really did change then it could be considered a cousin to the Kamikaze Kuhna, yes/yes?

BUT here are the newly-revamped Reitcon, Regal, and Borealis in the meantime~

... And yes, well. About those genes. I did mention that a lot of things had changed with the revamp. c: I can count them on one hand, but some Kuhnas did get a change in genetics. Can you find them all? You have less than 5 (one hand) out of 169 results. Have fun. C:

Shrewd said the roller was a bit out of whack, since I wasn't supposed to get those two (Cuz yep, they aren't potential kits for that kind of pairing). So she'll be rolling again once they get it sorted out for the two Independence Kuhnas to get the actual crosses that I should've gotten. ^^

As Shrewd said, we decided that the Independence needed some major help, what with being just a dusty common Kuhna. It had no ties to Independence at all. The new Independence is based on the flag of Uruguay, as they are a country that gained Independence from another country at some point. Since the Independence was already undergoing such a large scale change, we figured we might as well make its genetics make more sense as well.

I tried out a lot of different countries. I couldn't just go with something like Australia because it's just red/white/blue like ours and we've already got plenty of those. It seems like the... vast majority of flags are red/white/blue. I blame Britain. =| There were some others I did rough mock-ups of though, such as the Burundi flag and Indian flag. The Uraguay flag is the one that stuck because it looked the least like any other color combo we have on Kuhnas so far. Plus it gave me another use for the sun I'd drawn and been so proud of for the Kamikaze.

So. I got trolled by a single Independence today. But I also came into ownership of two Endangered Rares, the Ailur being from making the roller and the Wynd from reaching 75 Kuhna. I never thought this would happen, homg.
I'm quite proud of the Ailur because I made it, and I'm quite happy I got at least one Kuhna that I made -pokes the Sorrow-

I told Shrewd this already, but I actually had a (perhaps too deeply read into) interpretation of the old Independence colors xD Red, white and blue (Common colors) are some typical patriotic colors for a number of countries. But sometimes fighting for independence is brutal and dark. So the white of the Common Kuhna is tainted to become gray :B But yeah. Probably reading into it wayyyy too much.

The new Borealis is absolutely gorgeous and makes me really excited for Kuhnas like the Pure and Tide ;w; Sorrow's gradient is great, and Sugar looks lovely on the new base! The Ailur and Wynd are fantastic, too >3<
