I've decided to Nuzlocke my first run through. I've done Nuzlockes, but never with a game I've not played before.  So far it's going well!

I downloaded Ruby from the shop last night; it took like two hours to download, so I went to bed. I got up early to play before I go to work, and so far, this is seriously awesome!

Well, I've learned that the sneaking up on Pokemon thing can really break your game. xD; Other than my starter and the pokemon they basically toss at you to introduce the new feature, my first pokemon I caught was a level 3 Taillow with the attack Boomburst. That's an attack with 140 attack power and 100 percent accuracy, on a level 3 pokemon. The real mega bird, folks.

Hahah, Kyrit, I found one too! I was freaking out. x'D But admittedly, I'm interested in Swellow, though I do want to hunt for a nice Nincada and see if I can get something nice.

I think it's a really interesting mechanic though. I love how it incorporates the whole sneaking thing, I freaked out when I started walking on my toes in the demo. xD

Here you guys are with your game breaking pokemon and here I am stuck and using the new feature obsessively, trying to get the perfect Aron for me. It's great having a feature that let's you hunt specific things. c:

In other news, keeping his title, so easily earnt in the old version, Watson is still the bane of my existance, and self-proclaimed (by me) hardest gym leader ever. Always has and the new moves don't help. Watson OP, plz nerf.

I have so far pretty much spent all my time sneaking around pokemon :l;; Though I also have been holding back since I am trying to breed a six IV Treecko to replace my starter with... (named my starter Keylime :l I want to get a Shiny Treeko and name it Mint)

I don't really like getting level 13 pokemon with good IVs vs my pokemon I am just leveling though XD;;; they wipe the floor with my pokemon. Good thing I am not doing a nuzlock... I would have lost all my pokemon save for my shiny Beldum. :l;;

I hadn't been planning on actually getting my hands on the game until Christmas, as I didn't preorder it or anything, but my husband surprised me (again) by suddenly grabbing my DS and downloading Omega Ruby when I mentioned it was out. His excuse was, "What? Don't you want to play at the same time as everyone else on Evelon?" Pft. Knowing me so well. >_< Having two new games at once, though, I don't know what to do with myself.

I am enjoying the sneaking feature, too. I accidentally started sneaking before it was introduced through the game, so my "wtf," reaction was pretty hilarious. The characters look so silly sneaking.

As per usual, I started out with the Fire starter. Though, this time, I decided to name my character, "Taya," after my Pokemon Roleplay character Taya that also started out with a Torchic. (Even if she looks nothing like the Trainer.) I'm trying to keep names of all the Pokemon I capture within her style of naming.

I just finished my Nuzlocke! It was a bit harder than it was in X. I loved it. It came down to basically Swampert vs. Metagross in the end. (Let's face it, Linoone wasn't helpful, and Skarmory was just around to tank stuff.)

Now I have to go explore everything else! So excited. This game is even better than I had expected.

You can get a Latias (or 'os in AS) from an Eon Ticket!

The Eon Ticket is a key item that you hold in your bag. When you streetpass with someone who has it, you get it too! Then when someone streetpasses with you, they get it! Hopefully this means it'll infect us all like a virus and everyone can have one.

You might want to try using the internet features of the game to trigger spotpass, as I think it can also be passed that way.
