I've apparently never responded to this. This is a problem. D:
So, my favorite species:
The GarudorThese were the guys that first persuaded me to sign up for the site and start RPing here. There's just something I find super cool about these guys! I think it must be the masks. They look fierce but also intelligent. I love these guys!
The Rengosett You don't see many marmoset creatures out there! I was drawn to the fact that the "Zodiac Monkey" species was a marmoset-based creature. Plus, the expression on these guys is just perfect. So mischevious!
The Xing YunThese guys are my absolute favorite of the draconic non-breedables, so it saddens me a little bit that due to being "purities," they're relegated to sort of supporting-pet status and don't get many alternate versions. Except for the birthday version, which I intend to snap up soon as possible.
The Quikslyph I really like the take these guys have on your traditional "fairy-type" creature, being liquidity. The Constellation version (also a birthday pet for me! Yay!) is my absolute favorite of them, because I LOVE stellar anything.
The MejiRabbit wizards have been done before, but the trenchcoat just MAKES it for me. I'm an absolute sucker for trenchcoats.
The Seraphant Multi-winged creatures are really cool, and I love how feathery these guys are.
The AnalaLittle known fact about me: Anteaters are one of my favorite animals.
The LeploraI have a hoard of these little guys, so obviously I must adore them. I have a big soft spot for plant creatures, and I love these guys' lotus butts. I also adore the First Snow variant!
The FloranaThe Astria version especially! Like I said, space-themed anything is a huge weakness, and these guys are SO pretty. The little curly details, the soft blues, the speckles... These guys are just gorgeous.
The Stargoyle and the GaragnirThe level of detail on these guys never fails to take my break away, and I generally consider them one of my favorite non-breedable species of all time. Stargoyles manage to perfectly combine looking prickly with looking squishy and adorable, and Garagnirs look incredibly dignified and powerful. They're dangerous-looking, but you get the sense they don't abuse their power. I just find their designs wonderfully evocative and really well done.
The Shii ...Buuut I also really love squishy fluffballs and these guys do that really well too.
