Since users now have access to the .psds for breedable custom species, I figured we were in need a thread like this. Come here to show off your pretty designs, as well as seek opinions and advice for them! Heck, users can even post here to try to give designs away, if you don't want to open a whole shop to do so. c:

I have a few to show off, currently.


This lovely is basically an updated version of this Lucain of mine. For awhile now, I have been using one Lucain for two different AUs of the same character. However, I've always wanted to get them separate forms, but didn't know how to recreate the vintage Striped look. Reaper with a radial gradient seems pretty nice, though, and it fits the character well, since they're a "Witch of Death," as I call them.


This is Tavorien, and he is a ghost thing, based off of an old Gelert of mine. I couldn't decide what extra marking to give him but, since he was murdered, I figured the bloody look worked well. I don't normally like Drizzle all that much, but the Hyaena breaks it up nicely, in my opinion. His eyes and Psi-Eye are actually glowing.


Soveris based on Jack Skellington. Though, if I actually get him, I'll need to get a few stitches added to his beak. Gail was the closest marking to pinstripes, soooo. xD He also makes use of a gradient with an abrupt change with the Skeletal marking.


I got bored and made a navi, and I am surprised no one ever made one sooner. I've had this idea for as long as Freckled existed. xD I wont use it, though, so I'm open to giving it away. The colors mostly came directly from navi images from the movie, even the ears and nose.


Annnd for this gal, Darla, I can't decide if I like her best on a light gray or very dark base. She's a fairy, character-wise, but it might be important to note that her brother is very dark in coloration, being a very dark purple and black. So opinions on her would be great. <3

Oooh, I like all of those designs, Toxic; especially the Na'vi one! <3  My personal opinion for Darla is to use the darker base--but that's just my personal preference.

I, too, have a few designs that I whipped up...

These two have a similar thing going that Taliña and Yuki-Xue do in that she can shift forms--she's also my self-pet.  I plan on getting the Lucain version with my Class A Lucain license--likely not with those exact wings, but I definitely want her to have feathered wings as opposed to wingblades.

I'm not sure how familiar some people are with The Hunger Games, but this gal is one of twelve (maybe 13) Paragon based on the 12 Districts of Panem; specifically, mining.  I took inspiration from the costume design session for the opening parade with Katniss and Cinna, where he talked about making it look like she and Peeta were on fire (since you burn coal).  The Plume wing came out very shortly after I did my initial design, and I fell in love with it for her.

Whee, plot necromancy!  But seriously, this character was originally my Goddess of Magic for my Re'klettan Pantheon.  Originally, she was a dark red Sandshark with bright blue Ivy, and she was supposed to be Aila and Alyssa's sister.  Then, I traded the original form and decided to make her look a little more like she could be related to those two. XD;

Also in the same vein as the girl above, this boy was originally part of my Re'klettan Pantheon plot.  When I did his original design, he was a Nago with Ecliptic wings--then the Ambia and Hybrid wings came out. <3 So I tweaked him ever so slightly.

Once Silv taught me how the .psds actually worked and how to do gradients and stuff, I could not be stopped. She has given me too much power, and I continue to make things every few days that I won't probably be able to ever order but oh well.

Sparkle butt was actually my test for gradients as well as figuring out how Celestial works. He's wonderful, but I don't have anything specifically for him, so I'll hold off ordering him a while until something happens with him.

Penguin and pied peacock to go with my my barn swallow boy. Might try and breed for one of them. I dunno.

Jupiter, a space child. His colors came from the actual planet.

LQG, the other space boy. He's going to have a Voidbringer form as well, once I get the .psd for the 'gon to stop hating me.

Possible palette potion child for Discord's kid, Dichotomy. I think they were the first thing I put glow on? Probably.

Everything after this is cosplay pets, so. :U And they're all boys, lmao Fear it, I guess.

Mike the Security Guard from FNaF. Hopefully, I'll order him soon so that Middy can torture him with Puppet and maybe Mangle. :U

Loke, Gray, and Jellal from Fairy Tail. Again, the boys that make me smile. ; 3; Jellal may or may not end up with Jace because they're gonna have different personality things happenin' up in here. Loke should be on the way, though my e-mail order may have been very confusing because, well, I was also confused when I sent it in. Might have to check on that.

Valeria's sister, and based on the more dystopian side of Cyberpunk.


Xayne as his nasty parasite form. Void creature (in weird Middy lore), so that is why his colors are black/purple.


He is based on a picture of a plague doctor, so his mask and smoke would come later.


Based on the latest album cover of Ayreon: The Theory of Everything. I love this album, and the story that goes with it. This lucain would have a similar backstory.


Xylia--- Driscoli's mate. She is based on both her sickle form and her reference art.


Zerit, my OC from Mass Effect. Possibly one of my more evil characters, but his backstory/personality isn't so cut and dry evil either. Since Salarians are amphibious, I based him on a strawberry dart frog. Note his kuhna form too (although the black spots mimic his scales on the kuhna more)


Still need to get him someday. Got inspired from the husks of Mass Effect and cyberpunk with him. Always wanted a cyber zombie.

Here's Mangle! I kept calling it a her, so it stuck, so my Mangle will indeed be female. I dunno if I wanna tweak her design a little or not.

I don't know if I will ever get him but he is the meteor shower gon and yes he is shaded. I really like his design still. May just use a pallet potion and breed him.


This is from a while back but this was the old design for one of CD's sons Neo... or the genetic experiment son for CD created by Hans. Brother of Vice and Luka. I need to take a second look at him again maybe.


The medic for the Navy back during WW2 he some how has not managed to age over the years. In the current years he has become an English teacher and is a bit of a rival to the resident math teacher who is a German pilot from the same time frame who also some how managed to not age. I had a dream about the two and this guy is the only one left on my list to get.


Another really old one. I don't know what he is or his back story I just thought it was a good combo and wanted it :l;;


These four however will likely be a little breeding project for me in the future. Originally they were just random designs. I kinda brushed them off at first and handed them to someone else for a bit. So story is this person quit and shoved everything back on me. I still love these designs a lot. They kinda are a card group of sorts and I guess do a host club or run a casino. I don't really know I love their designs a lot still. They were all meant to look kinda vintage I may tweak their colors and marks still.

I need some advice on Springtrap (from FNAF 3 obv) here (yes I plan on getting a suitable rabbit form too) but so far, he has been a royal pain in the butt. I scoured images of him, and he is in fact gold with puke green. So I looked at the arcade pics etc, let him torment me on nightmare mode... but I am wondering if this looks good?

Seeing as how he is my favorite atm, I want a second opinion to see if he looks good enough.

How are you guys making kuhna/lakundra predicts?

I believe some of the predicts were ordered from shops, some of them were done using the examples from the Kuhna shop as a base, some were traced and in Thunder's case she is a staff member.

Currently Kuhna/Lakundra files are really big and it would be too much to give out as of right now. I am pretty sure there are 15+ different expressions, 4 different species bases, 3 different poses ( Lakundra included), 4 different tail types, 10+ different wings, 10+ different edits, 5+ different markings if you consider the kuhnas with unique markings and the list goes on. Thats a ton of stuff. I likely have over 50 Kuhna/lakundra files in final drafts alone.

Those 50+ files even chugs the staff's computers, to give a better idea. Some of the largest files I will never release to the staff with out splitting them up for this reason. Last thing I want to do is crash someones computer.
