So I have recently dicovered an arthopod that I'm not scared of and love. Millipedes. They are perfect little creatures whose self defense mechanism is to secrete cyanide from their exoskeletons. Also they have a few species that create their own bioluminescence without the aid of bacteria unliek the vast majority of bioluminescent creatures on this planet. The specific species is motyxia sequoia and I love them so much. If I could find a person selling them (and lived in an apartment and not dorms) I would definitely raise a pair.

Just please come tell me about arthropods that you love and post pictures of ones you'd like to own.

Ohhhhh don’t you get me started on BUGS. ; A;! I don’t know how many people on Evelon are aware of my insect addiction (actually it was worse last year), but I am the lady of praying mantises (ask like Kreepy and Kyrit). C”: I’ve own several species so far (sshshhshsshshs I don’t have a problem). I used to post a lot of my babies on Instagram (cutiecrawlers) too. ; u;

Also? Feathered millipedes are awesome, I haven’t had a chance to own a millipede yet. I've been looking at a Thai rainbow millipede recently~

Oh they are so pretty! I'm slowly getting over my fear of mantids (said fear stemming from being swarmed by 100s of baby ones that I didn't see in a catnip pot until they were literally all over me.).
I really love the last one! They have such pretty eyes.
