HEY folks I am kinda obsessed with personality tests, I think they're super fun and that they can tell a whole lot about someone (or not a lot at all, depending on how well the test jives with you haha). I'm super curious to know other people's types?

My types are INFJ (MB Test) and 6w5 (Enneagram). INFJs are the rarest type, but I have a theory that INFJs tend to gather together haha. Especially on places where creativity is a Thing. 6w5 is like, the anxiety™ type who desires support and fears being without it. Both things are really REALLY accurate for me and I take a weird kind of pride in both of them lololol. Idk if anyone else is interested in this besides me but if soooo... here are some links to the tests and types!

Which seems about right. I know I flip-flop between ISTJ and ISFJ, but yeah the 'need to be needed' thing sits strongly with me as well, for better or for worse.

And I also got 6w5 from the Enneagram. Which by your description also makes sense for me :'l

I tend to place pretty persistently between INTJ and ISTJ (which... makes me a lil bit bummed out since as Trope Characters in Fiction stereotypes, tend to be the calculating villain (INTJ) and the Boring Dad Type Side Character (ISTJ))... orz

For that Enneagram test I got 5w4.

I think the general consensus is I'm a highly analytic type who's stuck in my own head and doesn't know how to deal with people, which... fair, but I don't know if I agree with a lot of the more detailed stuff in them.

I used to be an INTJ/INTP, but I guess the stress and poet herding and performance stuff has turned me into an ENTJ.

It makes me think about how many other extroverts are on Evelon? I think we're mostly a group of introverts.

I got 1w2. Which is basically the leader/organiser and the mother hen.

Everything is by a pretty small margin, so I'm wondering if this personality is a more situational thing. I'm doing a lot of events and basically trying to get a foothold in my local area's art scene and I'm doing quite well, also I got a team of slam poets to look after. I think once I've got leader-ing to do I put on my important hat and Do All The Things and I can't worry about them because I've got people who rely on me. When that stops I'm going to run off into the forest, turn back into an INTP and I can finally stop replying to important emails. I'll see when I get there, I guess.

Being between 5 "Thinkers who tend to withdraw and observe" and 9 "Keeping peace and harmony" sounds... pretty accurate for the course of my life so far, yeah. xD;

ISTP - Originally I took the test and it listed me as ENTJ - which is not really accurate at all I don't think. xD I think I may have done it wrong the first time. In any case, I took it again on a different site and got this.

2w1 - The caring, interpersonal type apparently. I wouldn't have really thought this of myself but reading the description, there's a lot of things that I catch myself doing so. -shrug-

I test as an ENFP on Myers-Briggs, though some people I'm really close to IRL say I'm more of an introvert xD; I guess most realistically I'm an ambivert, someone who flip flops between the two.

I did an enneagram once, but I can't for my life remember what I got. 9w2 or something? But I identify more strongly with the Myers-Briggs than enneagram.

Personality typing is my JAM. My Internet Home nowadays is basically a PTing forum haha. Obviously quizzes aren't always reliable (I'm frequently typed as an ESTJ by quizzes because I'm analytical/logical and don't live inside my head) but I love digging my grubby little paws into what the types mean and how to apply them to understand people better, and I love PTing my characters to help give me some more scaffolding around which to build them.

I'm an ISFJ and a 9w1! What that boils down to, at least for me, is that I'm habitual and comfort-oriented, I struggle with abstract concepts, I highly value group cohesion/try to promote it/get stressed when a group isn't cohesive, aaaand that I repress a bunch of my emotions (e.g. anger and anxiety) so I can achieve inner peace. :P I identify more strongly with my Enneagram type than my MBTI type because I find it explains more about me at my motivational core (and calls me out on my bullshit lol), as compared to MBTI which is a little more on the "how" side than the "why" side.

I haven't read it in a while but I remember quite liking and feeling totally laid bare by Ocean Moonshine's Enneagram descriptions - here's the one for 9s!

Edit: Yeah, today I'm testing as an ISTJ (25%/28%/16%/31%) 9w1 (accurate - with 1/5/6/8 as backups). Quizzes!

This is a really cool thread!
I know I haven't been very vocal around here in a long time, but to join in anyways: I'm an INTP and 9w1 (or for any really big Enneagram nerds, 953 sp/so). About half the enneagram tests I've taken type me as 5w6, but I feel like the 9 is more accurate (hooray for conflict avoidance haha).
