Well, Kit's leaving for an archaeological dig soon, and she won't be very active. The dig's next week, actually... Preparations are taking up most of my time. With all the homework piling up, my free time's limited as it is... *sigh*

So, hopefully I'll do as the title says. If not... Uh... Kodai can have all my pets? xD;

And when I was little I wanted to be a palentologist (can't spell! WHEE! 8D). I learnt the word when I was three. -proud-

So have loads of fun! And if you discover a new species of dinosaur you should name it after me! Moofie-o-saurus! =DDD

Yet another former wannabe paleontologist here. ("Former wannabe?" Wow, that makes my head hurt. XD) Sounds AWESOME. Have TONS of fun!

I wrote that I wanted to be a paleontologist when I grew up when I was in kindergarten and we had to write about what we wanted to be. My stupid teacher got mad at me and told me little girls couldn't grow up to be paleontologists, and suggested I write about being an ice skater or a doctor instead.

By now, probably retired. She was evil, I tell you. She was also the kind of teacher who made you color inside all the lines, and if you colored the sky anything but blue or the grass anything but green or the fire truck anything but red, she got angry at you.

The fire truck thing was ESPECIALLY annoying to me because the fire trucks in our town were GREEN at the time. How am I supposed to know to color a fire truck red if all the ones I saw in real life were green?

Although my sister went to the same school for kindergarten, her teacher was actually my old 2nd grade/3rd grade teacher, who is an amazing woman and should be able to teach everybody in the world when they're little because you can't not love her. And when I graduated from high school, she sent me a really nice card that made me cry. ;u;

I did like dinosaurs, though. My first overdue library book was about dinos.

wow. I wanted to be a paleontologist too! ^^ Though now I can't stand to get outdoors and the excessive heat and cold make me ill. >_<

In preschool, I thought all kids were supposed to mispronounce at least one word incorrectly. So I picked the two words I wouldn't be able to say and purposefully mis-said them every time: "psychic" and "phenomena." Reeeeal useful to a 5-year-old, them words. XD

Find something cool, like... a fern fossil!

I remember I used to go on the road with my dad (truck driver) and I'd talk to people over the radio, and they'd ask me what I'd want to be. I was... 3? 4? I dunno. But they were shocked I wanted to be a paleontologist and that I could even say it. I couldn't spell it though, if I remember right. Oh! *goes to add that to the What Have You Learned thread*

This is a dig all about paleoANTHROpology. xP So, instead of fangs and funny-looking skulls, I'll be destroying the graves of people who died a couple centuries ago. Yay me. >>
The teacher that's coming with us says he'll work us like horses! o.o
