It's not a matter of me being offended, it's a matter of it being so controversial that it surprises me that anyone would be willing to take the heat involved with making a movie of it.

The anger's just cause I'm a typical nerd who complains about every single line change in the movie. xP

I hate it when they change the lines too! Like with "Blood and Chocolate", they totally butchered the characters. They messed up how they acted, and the whole plot of the book!! I must admit the movie was still good though.....XD

*can rant for YEARS about the inaccuracies in the Harry Potter movies* I can't even bring myself to watch Ender's Game, cause I loved the book so much. :/ I understand why they have to be changed, but I still don't like it.

The biggest slaughter of a book I've seen is Eragon. T.T I can complain and gripe myself hoarse about that.... movie. *growls*

They still had no reason to leave Angela, Solembum, Jeod and countless others out. If they dare to make Eldest... I will scream. There's no way they can, and it still make any kind of sense, without those characters though. >.> Maybe the directors will fall off the face of the earth? *hopes*

That movie made me angry. >>  Flat out raving mad.  I mean, sdfghjkl? D:  I thought Brom was Galbatorix for the first half of the movie, and they left out poor Katrina altogether! x.x  How in the WORLD are they going to manage to make the SECOND movie NOW!?!  Really.

They are just going to bucher the books like they always do. That's why I won't watch it. I watched the Harry Potter movies and they were okay until the 5th one. It was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Now I don't know if I want to see the 6th one.

When I watched Eragon I hadn't read the book in about a year and a half so I was a little  fuzzy. But then the movie ended and a was like that's it? Really? Well that totally sucked. I was naming all the things I remembered that they left out. If Eldest does come out I won't watch it. NEVER.

Eragon? Don't even get me started on that, they really messed up the bird people things, (I did have the book with me right now and I remember the name, but I can't spell it,) they made them bug-like things. They forgot the city where there net was, the didn't put in the dwarfs! How can they not put that in? I was looking forward to the giant ruby too.   Darn hollwood.
Oh, I did the thing to check max's and it said it was a good match. I'm doing mine right now.

The His Dark Materials trilogy is an essential part of my childhood, and if the movie sucks, I will KILL Hollywood.

But I must admit, Nicole Kidman makes a lusciously vicious Mrs. Coulter. I always pictured her with black hair, but otherwise, she's PERFECT.

If anyone ever tries to make a movie out of any of my writings, I will VEHEMENTLY turn them down. They'd butcher it, I know. *begins to ramble to self* None of the Big 7 besides Radston will be in the movie. Ran will be treated like the focal character, even though all four of them are the main ones. Nick's "issues" will never even be discussed, nor will his little sister. Samantha will probably be in the movie, but a non-entity. Saradeana will be made to seem like one of the bad guys. Dax will seem like a reject from a bad horror film. They will SHOW Sasha, which isn't supposed to happen. Morgan will never be mentioned, which would make the second movie PAINFULLY awkward. A lot of incidental things like that, important to the second book, will be gone. And did I mention that none of the Triad will be like I imagine them? Naz will be too childish looking, Audra will be some aweful diva wannabe, and Sabeen... let's just not go there.

*looks around, sees flies and people lying protrate on the ground* Looks like I bored everyone to death again...
