Firestar seemes to be rather elusive indeed. My local used book store has a copy, though! =3 Haven't bought it yet because my budget is tight, but I can casually read it there in their cafe. XD

Yeah. I haven't read The Fire Withen yet, but I have a friend who looooooooves the books, and she told me all about them. I don't remember all of the details, but from what I can tell, they're good.
Its 2:45, the baby takes his first breath
The mother never knew he only had a few left.
And the father gets a call in the middle of the night.
His breathe gets short and his chest gets tight.
But he’s sixteen and he’s driving too fast
Takes a turn to the left, it would be his last.
Nobody knows what happens if he turns to the right
Nobody in the car would have died that night.
But he’s thirty-two and invincible
The cancer that he had, it was visceral.
He never saw it coming, though he had his whole life.
Sick in the morning and he died in the night.

Haven't read that, but I HAVE read "Shade's Children" by him. The ending was really bittersweet, but I kind of like endings like that. I should read it again sometime soon.

You know the new movie comin' out, The Dark Is Rising? Well, a couple of years ago, I read the book. From what I've seen from the previews, they changed the WHOLE thing. Uhg. I hate it when they do that. (By they, I means Hollywood.)
