Okay, so. I'm sure you guys have noticed a few odd quirks about the current board--Toxic and Cookie have had issues with their computer picking up on things after joining that weren't there before, there's that lame-butt "You must make one legitimate post before you can post URLs," etc. Well. The admin team has been contemplating something...

And we wanted to run the idea by you guys.

What we were thinking is that we could have Gods/Fallen Gods/Priests cost $2-$3 each to help cover the costs of a paid server so that we don't have any bugs like this forum has, and so that we're not left out in the dark when the parent host goes down for maintenance out of the blue.

So... post your opinions?  And vote on the Samenia forums?

The only thing I can think to say is that, while some may purchase the Gods/Fallen Gods/Priests, I really don't think Samenia is popular enough to sell enough monthly to pay for the host.

I'm sure it would just be best to continue some research on free forum hosts and truly find a good one.

I have to agree with Toxic. Not a lot of people who have paypal are interested in Trinkets~ But! I say put them up for 3$ each that way its fairer and easier to get a God/ fallen/ Priest. And who knows, if they become popular enough you could switch to a paid forum.

And still every so often have one up for auction? Just make it rarer and stuff~

Well... I'm not sure. Toxic and Celtic are right. We don't have that many users, and I don't know how many of them have paypal. (I don't, even though my dad does, and he's transfered my money onto there before so I could buy stuff on Ebay, but fake pets aren't important enough.)

So, some people will be able to, but I don't think we could make enough out of just $3 per Trinket with so few users to pay for a forum space... For now, I haven't experienced any problems, so I think that most people could probably wait for a host.

Jun, that's not how it works. Randoms are random, you can tell Fire what you'd prefer, but it's really all up to her in the end. The random would still be 15 KS.

On the forums, there's a thread where you can add the things that you bought, but I don't think that applies to attacks, I'm not sure.

EDIT: I'd like another custom, because I like double crested Trinkets.

Potterchic, she is ordering a random. Those are suggestions! Seeing the 'Preferred' she lists what she would like to see on the Trinket, its not a must.

And she owns a bite attack on the forum, so it works out.

After thinking about Toxic's suggestion there, I've decided that, for an extra 5 KS on Customs, you can add one additional Crest.  You cannot request additional Crests for randoms; randoms are random, therefore you'll never know what you'll get... >D

I know that, I'm saying that it still costs just as much as a regualr random. Fire put in the post about secondary crests that it doesn't apply to add the extra KS for them on randoms, because there's no saying you'll get it.

I'm likely going to have to find a way to get 5 posts, as all the help he offers on that forum is in link form. This is part of the reason we're switching again. This host has issues.

Oh, and that post of his is about 2 weeks old, so why did it happen now?
