"This is the information and the forms," Valedictorian says, gesturing to the desk. "But first, please look here." She points you to a picture on the wall.
"This is a Dhorin foal," she explains. "You cannot see their wings, markings or horns at this stage, just their base color and their gender, which is imprinted on their right side." She smiles. "But more on them in a bit. May I turn your attention to the sign?" You look toward a cardboard sign sitting on a small table.

"Now come this way." You follow her out of the tent and to a square building.
"This is the Nursery," she says when you enter the building. It's full of square pens, which are empty at the moment. "Foals are kept here until they are claimed, at which point they go home. In order to breed, you must visit the
Breeding House."
She steps across a line of red tape to the other side of the room, which is identical.
"This is where abandoned foals are kept," Valedictorian explains. "If a foal is not claimed within
3 days, or if you do not wish to keep your foal, it is put up for adoption here." You nod, wondering how anyone could abandon a foal.
There are currently no young foals inside the pens.
"To abandon a foal costs
7 KS, and to adopt one costs
5 KS." She smiles. "You will have to tell me which foal you want to adopt or abandon." Then she nudges you back toward the tent. "Hurry up! I don't have all day!"
