the Nytelyte
Nytelytes are a cross between a butterfly and a firefly. They are quite large, having a wingspan of at least 8 inches. Both males and females have lights on their abdomens, but males' lights are not as bright as females' lights, who use them to attract males during mating season.

FAQs
Q: My bug has more than one marking, which one is on top?
A: The Main Mark is on top and the Mini Mark is below. If you want to swap the layering around please tell me.
Q: Can I buy accessories for my bugs?
A: Yes, but not yet...
Q: Can I breed my bugs?
A: Once breeding opens up in a couple of weeks (probably). Your Nytelytes must have been an adult for at least 10 days to breed. (There may be a small fee for this, I haven't decided yet.)
Q: What will my bugs look like?
A: From-the-shop ones (randoms, models, customs, specials) will all be in adult form. However, when you breed two bugs, they will produce eggs which will hatch into torkatters (caterpillars), then pupate and emerge as full-grown adults.
Q: How does breeding work?
A: If you have bred Lucain, Nytelytes are quite similar. Markings and colours are inherited randomly from the parents, and two siblings may look completely different! If you want to breed them, post both in the same post and indicate somewhere that you want them to breed.
