Felidech
Personality
Felideches tend to be very distrusting of humans and usually keep to themselves. They have a fierce temper and are not to be messed with. Even the kindest Felidech will attempt to give you a good gash with its tail when it's angry.
Felideches are very noble, proud creatures, so do not insult one. It may cost you your life. They spend about an hour a day cleaning their scales and sharpening their claws.
Felideches also love to be the ruler. They want to be in charge of what goes on, so I don't suggest trying to control what your Felidech does or where it goes. If you can manage to tame your Felidech, it will protect you with its life.
For all the strength they have, the Felidech has little brainpower. Trainers often pair these creatures with another, more intelligent one. The two need to be compatable, or this pairing has no chance of working.
Appearance
Felideches are known as "rock lizards," because of their rock-like armor that protects the head, underbelly, and chest. The exact substance that the armor is made up of is unknown, but it seems to be a mixture of iron and rock. The armor is twice as strong as steel, providing wonderful protection. Around the jaw, the armor smoothes out and thins, helping the jaw to open.
Encrusted in the rock-like armor is a jewel. The jewel, that varies in color, depending on the genes of the Felidech, seems to glow when the Felidech has more energy. As the Felidech becomes tired and loses strength, the jewel's glowing dies down, and then grows again after the Felidech rests. Around the time a Felidech's life is about to end, or when it is sick, the glowing is very faint and stops altogether when if Felidech dies. This can help a Felidech's owner know when it needs to stop for a break or when it is sick.
The Felidech, being a lizard type creature, has scales that vary in color. Darker stripes layer the Felidech's back, neck, legs, and tail. Spike-like appendages on the back help protect it, yet aren't as helpful as its rock-like armor. The tail is pronged with two sharp, deadly silver blades. The mouth is filled with razor-sharp teeth that, like a shark's, continue to replace themselves when one falls out. Also on their head, they have a patch of scales that goes around their eyes and down the neck, helping the eyes and neck to move. A Felidech is slender, not big and bulky. Weighing anywhere from 50-150 pounds, they are about 4-6 feet tall. They can usually reach speeds up to about 20-35 mph.
Felideches also have a golden bracelet around their left foreleg. The bracelet is encrusted in the scales, only sticking out slightly. It cannot be hammered, cut, or melted off. The bracelet is stuck around the leg for good. All Felideches are born with this mysterious band around their leg. Also, it seems to be made of something other than just gold. Studies show that it is a mixture of gold, iron, and another strange material. The bracelet is very lightweight and easy to carry around.
Not that I'm thinking I'll win or anything, but you can do whatever you like to this. Especially change the name.
