This one was a bit of an odd one... Unlike the previous booth where he'd managed to get his ear talked off by that one boy, managing to waste time in the process, this one was not his fault! Finally locating this one made Malique feel grateful, but also a tad annoyed. He could only hope that this one would be quicker, especially considering he could see there wasn't too many people, compared to before.
*Due to it not being so easy to find, most likely...* Expecting it to be more normal, he moved along to get that ticket. Glad that this line moved a little more smoothly, and seemingly took less of his precious time. Finally reaching the redhead, his eyes quickly became overwhelmed with the sheer amount of
stuff that was presented on the table.
*What is all this?* Just looking at all of it left him more puzzled than intrigued. And
again, he was getting stuff that he didn't even want in the first place. Before he could allow the woman to yap any further, not wanting to get roped into doing anything, he raised a paw to motion for her silence.
"I'm not interested in buying anything today, unfortunately. I just came here for a raffle ticket." He told her calmly, getting a feeling right after he finally got what he wanted, that she probably wasn't pleased. For a minute, Malique hung around a little longer, taking one last look at what she had to offer. Before finally rolling his eyes.
"Oh, alright. What about this then?" Finally managing to get away from that woman, he let out a sigh of relief.
"That one was a handful..." Honestly, he should've just kept his mouth shut. Because now he was carrying around a bag, partially containing those free goodies, along with something extra. Turning to make for the agreed upon meeting spot, he was ready to leave for now.
"Alright, now to get ba--AAACK!" Malique jumped back in shock, his red gaze falling onto two Kuhna plushies that were right at eye level with him, and they were
too close to his face!
"Hey!" His sister said mischievously, a playful smile on her face as she stood up fully.
"F-Fira! What on earth are you doing?! And why're you here? What about the raffles?" He began spluttering questions, to which she laughed.
"Already got 'em! See?" And then she held her tickets out for him.
"And since I already got mine, I thought I'd come and see if you were over here. Looks like I was right!" Being reunited with her brother, she was purring extremely loudly.
"So, what kind of prize does this booth have?" Safira asked him curiously, peeking over past him.
"Uh... Oh! Well, for now, that's a mystery. Literally." He replied, after giving himself a moment to process everything.
"Oooo!" Now that sounded exciting! She definitely wanted to stick around to see!
"Yeah... Anyways, here." Finally, Malique held out the bag for her. And immediately her interest in the mystery prize shifted to what was being held out in front of her.
"Huh? What's this?" She asked, as she took the bag and started getting into it.
"Nothing much, just a little something I thought you might like." Her brother tried to reply coolly, but it seem she didn't catch that, as she breathed out a gasp. Surprised that he also got Kuhna plushies and kept them, but there was even a bracelet inside the bag too!
"It's a Kuhna charm bracelet, that lady was selling them. So I thought that--" He didn't get to finish his sappy sentence, as his sister suddenly smothered him with a tight kitty hug.
"I love it, thank you!" And that only made him happier, a purr of his own rumbling in his throat.
"Glad to hear it!" When she finally released him, they went to find a place to sit down and relax for a bit.
"So now we just need to wait, right? And then we'll get to see if we won." Her brother nodded in agreement.
"Pretty much." Wouldn't be long now, and they were very eager to see what the results would be.
