This is the mighty Fluffaurus!  With a head the size of a minivan (not including the tusks), this giant carnivore roams the Vast Plains.  It's favorite food is the Gyrophant, but it will also eat cows, people, large pigs, and small cities.  The natives of the areas in which these predators live believe that if a warrior could kill one, he would ascend to be a god, and will constantly fight the beast's spirit in the afterlife.

[center]Time for Shrewdie to get her entries in. >=3

.::The Taranis::.
[Tah-rah-nee-suh]

.:Appearance::.
Image Image

.:General Description:.
Commonly called Winterdews due to their light colorations, the Taranises are loving creatures. They usually range, in height, from 2' 5" to 3' 3", and despite their size and weight, they are as light as a duo of pillows. Their hooves and horns are usually very interesting for merchants since they can be used as materials for many things, such as leather and wooden items. They are sweet and kind-hearted, as well as calm and responsible. They are great companions for kids and adults alike, and they love cleaning and cooking. Their fur can be soft like feathers or crispy like needles, depending on much time you spend brushing their fur.

Taranises are creatures that are very respectful to nature. Their tails usually represent their favorite color or favorite season. Their tails can be used as a fin when swimming, and when trained properly, a Taranis can use its tail to grab things. Their horns are filled with electricity, that is created from the oxygen Taranises breathe. The volts emitted from their horns can be extremely deadly, a baby's power capable of shocking a grown adult badly.

.:In-Depth Description:.
Playful, the Taranises can prove to be very deadly. When trained properly, their electricity can be use to melt down steel, iron and a few metals. Immune to their own charges, they can envelop their bodies into electricity in order to deal more damage to their enemies. They can usually punch, kick and tackle opponents, their light size deceiving their opponents.

However, even if their powers can be used for violence, they can also be used for fun. Indeed, they are a great source of electricity, so no need to pay the bill anymore! However, you must use their strength with moderation, for their energy has a limit. After four to six hours, depending on their size, Taranises must recharge before being able to summon electricity again. A lack of electricity is characterized by dizziness, sleepiness, the need to throw up, and numbness in a few cases. When such symptoms are happening, make sure to let your Taranis rest, and feed it only light food, such as soup.

.:Tastes:.
Taranises simply adore anything that is in the fruits & vegetables category. Their favorite fruits are apples, oranges and tomatoes, while their favorite vegetables are potatoes and cucumbers. They love drinking water, their system unable to drink fuzzy liquids such as soda. Like chocolate is lethal to dogs and cats, soda (strangely) can create the same effects to Taranises. The bubbles interact with their source of electricity, creating powerful charges throughout their system, which can bring the death of their internal organs. Many babies living in human houses tend to be careless, and many cases of intoxications have happened due to babies drinking soda from the fridge or from the glasses of soda that were left on the table or counter. Taranises adore human treats, such as cheese puffs, chips, pretzels, and any other kinds of sweets. When living by a barn or someplace, they love to eat grass.

.:Name Origin:.
"Taranis" means "Thunder" in a foreign language, fitting with their affinity for electricity.

.:Stats & Traits:

Species: Taranis (S)
Loyalty: 10
Toughness: 3
Exploration: 7
Endurance: 6
Intelligence: 3
Righteousness: 4
Darkness: 0
Fame: 8
Passive Traits: Cold Endurance, Discipline, Lightfeet
Battle Traits: Conductivity, Frightful Moan, Hard Hooves

.::The Oroitz::.
[Oh-row-eats]

.:Appearance::.
Image Image

.:General Description:.
Originating from Wilt'no Desert, these elephant-looking creatures are just as tall as humans! Usually between 4' 8" and 6' 0" in height, they're not pets you'd want to mess with. Although they look thin, they aren't as light as they seem; they're actually pretty heavy. To lift a full-grown adult, you'd need up to three humans, if not four. Babies are small and easy to carry, however. Their skin is similar to that of a reptile, but it is soft and ticklish to the touch due to their thin and microscopic hair.

Oroitz can endure extreme temperatures, but seem to be unable to go anywhere where the temperature is below -20 Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit), unless your forgot (many many many times) to shave your Oroitz's fur (yes, it does keep on growing). Their prints actually look like that of a feline or canine.

.:In-Depth Description:.
An old legend says that the Oroitz would be descendants of the Pharaohs. They were also used as pets, along with cats, although their roles were different from that of the cats'. Due to their hard scales and the tiny plates they have on their skin, people would use the Oroitz mainly as defensive creatures during wars or to guard the room or palace of the Pharaoh.

As to be expected from an elephant, Oroitz have an incredible memory. They say that they havve such a strong memory that some of the Oroitz population can even see into the past. Another legend says that if you dare argue about their memory, the Oroitz that you mocked will steal your own memories and leave you in a semi-conscious state. They are proud creatures who can be very violent when underestimated.

Oroitz tend to use their powerful arms and legs to fight, along with their full-body. They know no magic spells of any sort.

.:Tastes:.
Oroitz simply adore eating anything that is spicy or hot. They usually eat meat, chicken and turkey, as well as any human food you may have at home. They usually try to prove themselves worthy of being fed by accomplishing small chores (such as washing the dishes, dusting, etc). They usually dislike vegetables, but can stand fruits. They tend to drink a lot of water, and seem to be fans of soda as well (especially Orange Crunch for some reason). They also adore human treats, like chips or  pretzels. Be careful if you feed them such treats, however; they will tend to ask for it at the very same time every day, and they might get upset if you have none.

.:Name Origin:.
"Oroitz" means "Memory" in a foreign language, which is associated with their strong memory.

.:Stats & Traits:

Species: Oroitz (M)
Loyalty: 5
Toughness: 8
Exploration: 8
Endurance: 4
Intelligence: 14
Righteousness: 2
Darkness: 2
Fame: 4
Passive Traits: Aftersight, Desert Dweller, Extended Life Span, Great Intelligence
Battle Traits: Bestial Hide, Hard Hooves, Sandskimmer

Well, this be my two. =3 Feel free to change anything about them if they interest you. <3 The stats/traits are there to give you an idea, but you don't need to stand by them. :3 Feel free to add/take out a trait or to increase/decrease a stat/s. <3

.: Birdeh Snake :.

Image
(Thought It'd Have a Cool Name, huh? P=)

Potential Names: Diovale, Dwin, Biowin, Biown
Kingdom: Animalia
Class: Unknown
Gender Ratio: Male 50% / Female 50%
Possible Colours: All Evelon Colours (course)
... Especially temple though. -shifty eyes- >> << >>
Location: Roraldi Forest and Tengel Rainforest

.: Information :.

(For this piece of information I refer to it as the "Diovale" as that's my most favorite name at the moment =3)

The diovale is a strange species. half bird, half snake. Scientists don't know what to make of it. Some sort of half evolved reptile. Evelons scientists have been searching for an ancient, more reptillian species that may have been this creatures ancestor, so far there's been no luck. As scientists work on this many people have been looking into these animals as potential pets.

Diovale's are actually quite gentle creatures. They live high up in the trees, their long, snake like bodies coiled about it's trunk or branches. The diovale eats only bugs and small berries as it's beak does not have any teeth. But even without teeth or claws this creature is capable of damage all it's own. If the diovale feels frightened or threatened it will hiss with the best of them. The soft down feathers around it's neck, it's wings and scales too, stand on end.

It's first defense is to snap it's wings open and glide away to the nearest tree, as their wings are much to stubby for actual flight. The problem with them as pets is they'll most likely be kept in a cage which they will resort to bitting and pecking.

Because of their wild behavior it's wise to not take them directly out of the wild (especially from the Tengel, as the Roraldi Forest diovale's tend to be gentler). Many people are starting to breed these in captivity now and there are many different colorations for them.

Diovale's, once trained, make great pets. Aren't they cute~? -shot-

Yah I'm done. -waddles off- x3x;;

.:The Lieger:.
(pron. lie - grr)

Image
{Link to original version w/ no color}

Real Animals Based Off of: African Lion and Siberian Tiger

Recommended Colors: Void, Sky, Battlefield, Cursed.

Description: Both genders of the Lieger sport a bushy mane, though it is more pronounced in the males of the species. It appears to have the body of a lion, but it is thicker, with larger paws, and longer fur. Black stripes cover its flanks, legs, tail and cheeks. The background color of the common form is the same sandy yellow as a lion, with white underparts.

Liegers are solitary creatures, living and hunting by themselves in the wild most of their lives, until they find a mate. Once they find a mate, they're bonded for life, and will give up their own life to save their lifemate. They are fierce fighters and never back down from a fight, especially if it involves their honor.

Personality: Quiet and distrustful, they can be hard to tame. Once you befriend them, though, they will give their life to save you from any peril. Keep in mind that they are not very social and can be rather haughty and proud. Also, they seem to have trouble telling the truth to their owners, thus the name "Liegers".

.:The Mandra:.
(pron. man - drah)

Image

Real Animal Based Off of: Slimy Salamander

Recommended Colors: Void, Plush, Jewel, Biolune, Cobalt.

Description: The slippery, wet skin of this creature is soft to the touch. Surprisingly, the Mandra is not that slimy; it's merely moist. Their large eyes enable them to see in the dark, and their native habitat is caves. However, they will gladly forsake a life in the dripping dark for sunlit streams and wetlands, though exposing themselves to the sun for too long is not good for their sensitive skin.

One interesting feature of the Mandra is their gill flaps, which enable them to breathe underwater. They also possess a highly functional pair of lungs and can switch off between their lungs and gills for breathing underwater and on land. The paddle on the end of their tail enables them to swim quickly through water for a fast getaway from predators. They also possess the ability to regrow lost limbs or their tail.

Personality: Very playful, happy and friendly easily describes the majority of Mandras. They are highly social, and enjoy the company of one or more others of any species. They love to be petted and hugged, and bond very easily with kind owners. However, if they are abused or mistreated, it is all too easy for Mandras to turn evil. Treat them with love and respect and they will love and respect you in return.

Note:Baal, if I win, feel free to change the names, pictures and maybe a little of the description or personality of these two entries.
