.::The Taranis::.
[Tah-rah-nee-suh]
.:Appearance::.
.:General Description:.
Commonly called Winterdews due to their light colorations, the Taranises are loving creatures. They usually range, in height, from 2' 5" to 3' 3", and despite their size and weight, they are as light as a duo of pillows. Their hooves and horns are usually very interesting for merchants since they can be used as materials for many things, such as leather and wooden items. They are sweet and kind-hearted, as well as calm and responsible. They are great companions for kids and adults alike, and they love cleaning and cooking. Their fur can be soft like feathers or crispy like needles, depending on much time you spend brushing their fur.
Taranises are creatures that are very respectful to nature. Their tails usually represent their favorite color or favorite season. Their tails can be used as a fin when swimming, and when trained properly, a Taranis can use its tail to grab things. Their horns are filled with electricity, that is created from the oxygen Taranises breathe. The volts emitted from their horns can be extremely deadly, a baby's power capable of shocking a grown adult badly.
.:In-Depth Description:.
Playful, the Taranises can prove to be very deadly. When trained properly, their electricity can be use to melt down steel, iron and a few metals. Immune to their own charges, they can envelop their bodies into electricity in order to deal more damage to their enemies. They can usually punch, kick and tackle opponents, their light size deceiving their opponents.
However, even if their powers can be used for violence, they can also be used for fun. Indeed, they are a great source of electricity, so no need to pay the bill anymore! However, you must use their strength with moderation, for their energy has a limit. After four to six hours, depending on their size, Taranises must recharge before being able to summon electricity again. A lack of electricity is characterized by dizziness, sleepiness, the need to throw up, and numbness in a few cases. When such symptoms are happening, make sure to let your Taranis rest, and feed it only light food, such as soup.
.:Tastes:.
Taranises simply adore anything that is in the fruits & vegetables category. Their favorite fruits are apples, oranges and tomatoes, while their favorite vegetables are potatoes and cucumbers. They love drinking water, their system unable to drink fuzzy liquids such as soda. Like chocolate is lethal to dogs and cats, soda (strangely) can create the same effects to Taranises. The bubbles interact with their source of electricity, creating powerful charges throughout their system, which can bring the death of their internal organs. Many babies living in human houses tend to be careless, and many cases of intoxications have happened due to babies drinking soda from the fridge or from the glasses of soda that were left on the table or counter. Taranises adore human treats, such as cheese puffs, chips, pretzels, and any other kinds of sweets. When living by a barn or someplace, they love to eat grass.
.:Name Origin:.
"Taranis" means "Thunder" in a foreign language, fitting with their affinity for electricity.

.::The Oroitz::.
[Oh-row-eats]
.:Appearance::.
.:General Description:.
Originating from Wilt'no Desert, these elephant-looking creatures are just as tall as humans! Usually between 4' 8" and 6' 0" in height, they're not pets you'd want to mess with. Although they look thin, they aren't as light as they seem; they're actually pretty heavy. To lift a full-grown adult, you'd need up to three humans, if not four. Babies are small and easy to carry, however. Their skin is similar to that of a reptile, but it is soft and ticklish to the touch due to their thin and microscopic hair.
Oroitz can endure extreme temperatures, but seem to be unable to go anywhere where the temperature is below -20 Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit), unless your forgot (many many many times) to shave your Oroitz's fur (yes, it does keep on growing). Their prints actually look like that of a feline or canine.
.:In-Depth Description:.
An old legend says that the Oroitz would be descendants of the Pharaohs. They were also used as pets, along with cats, although their roles were different from that of the cats'. Due to their hard scales and the tiny plates they have on their skin, people would use the Oroitz mainly as defensive creatures during wars or to guard the room or palace of the Pharaoh.
As to be expected from an elephant, Oroitz have an incredible memory. They say that they havve such a strong memory that some of the Oroitz population can even see into the past. Another legend says that if you dare argue about their memory, the Oroitz that you mocked will steal your own memories and leave you in a semi-conscious state. They are proud creatures who can be very violent when underestimated.
Oroitz tend to use their powerful arms and legs to fight, along with their full-body. They know no magic spells of any sort.
.:Tastes:.
Oroitz simply adore eating anything that is spicy or hot. They usually eat meat, chicken and turkey, as well as any human food you may have at home. They usually try to prove themselves worthy of being fed by accomplishing small chores (such as washing the dishes, dusting, etc). They usually dislike vegetables, but can stand fruits. They tend to drink a lot of water, and seem to be fans of soda as well (especially Orange Crunch for some reason). They also adore human treats, like chips or pretzels. Be careful if you feed them such treats, however; they will tend to ask for it at the very same time every day, and they might get upset if you have none.
.:Name Origin:.
"Oroitz" means "Memory" in a foreign language, which is associated with their strong memory.
