The deer-like creature crept along the outskirts of the hall, not eager to be seen in such a crowded area. She tended to keep to herself, shy when it came down to it, and quite happy to remain out of the spotlight. She'd only just come to this part of the world, egged on by a need to see new things, but certainly wary of meeting new people. For a creature that looked like her, one who would be hunted for her unique appearance, or simply because she was a prey animal, being able to blend in was sort of a must. So being here, where so many mixed and mingled, was a brand new experience, and it wasn't one she could say she was entirely fond of. She made a point to stay to the edge of the hall and the crowds, moving slowly and quietly until she reached her destination. She quickly dropped off a note with an address, before putting on a burst of speed and dashing from the hall. The last thing the crowd saw as she darted past was the blazing trail of golden light she left in her wake.

The small Kuhna looked a bit out of place in the big hall--at first. But those watching her noticed her movements quickly--she was quick and never at rest; not jittery but always aware. She moved like someone keeping careful watch on her surroundings, her eyes were keen, and she had on a bit of a fierce smile. She was clearly a hunter as much as any of the employees. But she wasn't there to apply for a job; she was there to use the services, just like anyone else.

"Hey," she said to the front desk. She spilled out a small pouch over the desk, tumbling keystones mixed in with a few marble-like beads. She hurriedly scooped those back up and looked slightly apologetic. "I've tried my hardest and I'm at my wit's end! But I can't look any more. I can't do it! You see, I've been looking for my big brother. I'm pretty sure he's in Evelon with me, but I have no idea where!"

She pointed at the special row of dark red tokens behind the counter. "So I'm buying one of those special tokens. The ones on sale for a limited time. I need someone to find my brother!

Chester was in a bad mood, as far as things went. It had been one of those days where nothing went to plan, and as Chester's day usually consisted of domestic duties it meant he left the house with the pantry empty, the clothes still in the laundry basket, and the dining room coated in dust. With any luck, Alice would be sensible enough to have something done by the time he got back. (Although, knowing Alice she'd probably be sat in the kitchen making a mess, as opposed to doing anything even faintly useful.) Still, there was one thing he was definitely going to get done today, and that, was this.

Walking into the Huntsman's hall he met the woman by the counter. "I'd like an Anniversary Token, if you'd be so kind. I'll be paying in KS, " he said, sliding over a piece of paper with the specifics written down.

Lately he'd had very little to do around the castle, and being stagnant had never sat well with him. Luckily he had been givin an errand, and he was more than happy to comply. "I'd like to buy two anniversary tokens please," he said. "I'll be paying in GT," he added.

Geyser zipped into the hall, panting heavily. He had heard there were some kind of anniversary shenanigans going on, and he got scared that he was too late to join in. When he reached the shop, though, there were still advertisements posted for the special tokens. He breathed a sigh of relief. Taking out some money, he went over to Leif and dropped the cash in front of her. "Hi!" he greeted. "Can I have two of those anniversary tokens?"

Crow entered the hall of pictures and trinkets with a curious light in his feline eyes, bright beneath the brim of his hat. He picked up his pace and darted up to the small woman behind the front desk, a toothy grin spreading over his face at the selection of tokens she had. "Hey, yeeah... I wanna trade you something for these two shiny Anniversary tokens here. Whaddya say... 3 GT and 200 KS?" He dug around in the pockets of his long, colorful coat, and pulled out the correct change--more or less. He slapped it down and snatched up the coins as soon as the woman gave a sign of agreeing to his offer. "Thanks muchly!"

A servant he was, but an errand boy he was not; to be used as such offended what little pride Elouan had. But pride was a foolish notion anyway, especially in his situation, so he quelled the feeling and stepped into the shop. Visibility--- the feel of eyes upon him--- was a strange sensation. He fought the urge to shrink into himself, suddenly too conscious of the scrutiny. He had been under the dark too long, much too long.

"Two of your Anniversary Tokens," he murmured, voice soft. Coins for the dead, or coins for a mark? His master hadn't been clear. But there would be new servants soon, no doubt about it. He slid the pouch, filled with GT, across the counter, and eased back to wait.

How had she let that bastard Greed talk her into this? Grumbling quietly under her breath, the teal haired woman stopped at the hall, taking a peek inside. "Well, heck, I might as well," she muttered. She stepped inside, and headed towards the checkout, already knowing exactly what she wanted.

The young man that rushed into the hall looked frazzled, and just about on his last nerve. Seto's scowl and red face quickly corrected into an apologetic look as he approached the front desk, growing meeker with each step. "Hello," he offered a smile, digging into his pockets. "I, ah... did a boy come through here, earlier? Black hair, odd green eyes?" he asked, showing the red coin that had been taken earlier by another individual. "He's my friend, um... Crow... he said he scammed you, or something? He acted like he stole these coins he brought home, and I just wanted to fix what he did, and all..." He trailed off, really looking confused, and perturbed that Crow would steal something--even if Crow hadn't stolen anything, the android had made Seto believe he had, just to see the human boy freak out a bit. "H-he just wouldn't give me the other one that he took... but I hope this will be enough," Seto breathed, holding out the token.

Acacia walked in to the building slightly out of breath. Dressed in running shorts and a loose-fitting t-shirt, she had used the errand as an excuse to get some exercise in for the day. As a small business owner, time is money - so multitasking was often the way to go. Pulling an earbud from her right ear, the young woman approached the tattooed shopkeeper. "Hi," she began, "I'd like to buy two Anniversary tokens for GT, please. I haven't decided exactly what I want yet, so I'll be back to redeem them later." With that said, she handed over the GT.

A flash of purple zoomed by, and struggling to follow it was a pastel Tali. He was running as fast as he could, but with the saddlebags and material he was carrying, it was hard for him to go fast; whether by flying or running.

"Sorry!" he apologized as he bumped into another pet. "Excuse me!" he apologized again as he tried to squeeze between the numerous pets that were gathered here. "Pardon me!"

Somehow, by the Gods, he managed to reach the shop. He sighed; at least it would be a simple task to find that runaway Sygriff now. She had to stop to make the order, right?

And surely enough, there she was, carrying on business, and doing it strongly. "Excuse me!" she called out, looking a little frantic. "I'd like to purchase two (2) anniversary tokens!" She started looking around, this way and that, and quickly enough, she noticed the Tali a few steps away. Spotting him there, she went straight for him.

He breathed a sigh of relief. "Ave—"

"There you are!" Barely paying the Tali any mind, the Sygriff latched onto one of the saddlebags and pulled out a pouch, which clinked with Keystones. "I gotta pay for these!"

The Tali could only stare as the Sygriff had her way with the bags on his back, and he sighed again. At least they had those tokens now, right?

Nonetheless, eventually she stumbled upon the right place. Apparently she wasn't the only one, either, because there was a queue. There was nothing in the world she hated more than queues. She let out an audible sigh and took her place in line. When it was finally her turn, she leaped forward, nearly crashing into the huntsman she was about to talk to.

"Hi! I'm Amie! I run my own adventure team! I'm looking for some more team members. I heard you could help me with that. That's the sort of thing you do here, right? I found some of these in a treasure chest, will you take them as payment?" Amie pulled some Goddess Tears from her pack and held them out for the huntsman to see.

"I think I'd like to start with two Anniversary Tokens, yep!"

Clear blue crystals scattered on the desk, their bodies hitting wood and singing in a way reminiscent of crystal or glass. The woman scowled down at the smooth stones as though they had personally offended her. Then she directed that gaze to the small woman running the show here.
"I like your tats," she said, distain turning to amusement as she gestured to her own face, as though to clarify her meaning, "and I like this gig. I'd like to try it out. Those shiny red coin things look pretty cool, and affordable."

She nodded her head towards the Anniversary Token on display.
"I'd like TWO Anniversary Tokens, both paid for with Goddess Tears."
Blue eyes light, almost electric, on the stones again, "bit of a weepy God, huh? You'd have to be a real baby to be able to turn your own tears into currency..."

On this occasion though he felt that it was important enough for him to do it himself. He was buying a very dear friend a gift. He needed to know that it was done correctly. "I would like to buy this and I'll be paying with GT." He pulled out a slip of paper, "this will be a gift for Sarah, thank you."

The young woman in a top hat and elegant trench coat slipped inside the shop, welcoming the warmth. It was sort of miraculous that these shops were open twenty four seven, typically three hundred and sixty five days of the year. Sure, there was that Seasonal shop that was only open for the holidays, but when it was open, it was open all day and all night, too.

It was perfect, for someone like her. Her days were busy, so she was most available to do the things that she pleased in the dark of night. All things considered, she had always been more of a night person than a day person. So things worked out. Really, though, she was quite thankful she had somewhere she could shop at even in the dead of night.

"I have a sort of big order to fill," she addressed the other woman. "Right now, I don't require your services, but I will, soon. For now, I need two Anniversary Tokens, for myself, and a Non-Breedable Gift Token, that's going to a lady known as Mojave.. Her birthday is this month, or so I've heard."
