A dark shadow drifted towards the unassuming store, apparently unattached to anything and unmindful of where it went. Instinctively, the passersby on the street avoided walking anywhere near the thing or even making eye contact with it (if you could call it eye-contact), scuttling to the very edge of the pavement and shuffling by as quickly as they could. There was a distinct aura of...not-rightness to whatever the thing was, and everyone within a 50-foot radius could feel it. However, the creature - as it was indeed a creature - seemed not to pay any mind to the pedestrians which were so clearly avoiding it.

A shadow-wrought arm seemed to materialize from the body of the amorphous figure, pushing the door open to admit itself into the store. It would probably the strangest customer the shop-owner would see in a while, but the creature itself didn't pause to return any of the stares turned in its direction. Walking over to a shelf, it picked up a small, colorful bottle, the darkness almost entirely engulfing the diminutive container. Making its way over to the counter next, the thing deposited the bottle on the glass countertop, along with several small stones by means of currency. "That'll be One Lovey Love Potion for me, please and thank you," it intoned in a surprisingly human voice for one so decidedly unnatural.

Slinking into the shop just after nightfall the young man gave the person at the counter an easy smile. Full of sharp teeth and bad intentions, though the way he spoke made it sound as if this were a mere trip to the grocery store for milk. This boy was trouble, and it was best to keep him as far away from the public as possible.

"Hey there handsome." More flies caught with honey than vinegar, after all. "I'd like two lovey-love potions and your last generative draught. Please, and thank you." Seems a few others had been out of luck, and he was here to snag the last lucrative potion. There were more than a few people who would pay a pretty penny for the vile looking thing. More children meant more money, though he couldn't imagine wanting more than the three that he had. He loved them all but they were more than enough for him to keep up with.

A shadow slithered up to the door of the establishment, congealing for a moment back into three-dimensional solidity to raise its head to look up at the name of the place. Yes, this was the right one. Its master would be terribly displeased if it brought back the wrong thing. Melting back onto the ground, it slithered into the shop.

The potion was not hard to locate. It felt a little like the ink creature itself. It knew, a little, why its master wanted this. He had something he wished to bring to life again, like the doll that he had thrown away. That venture had gone badly the first time, but it was not the ink creature's place to judge its master's whims.

It collected the potion and approached the shopkeeper, proffering a small pouch of keystones and a note. One Palette Potion please. My servant should have the necessary funds.

The creature who walked into the shop was, at first, baffling. Surely, there was no species of pet like this? She looked a bit like a small lizard--kind of like an Ichthysaur, except Ichthysaurs didn't have blazing tails. And she had a flowing mane of golden hair, and who expected that on a reptile? But whatever she was, one thing was certain: She was incredibly, incredibly chipper.

"Yoo-hoo! Boys! I wanna have a little fun!" She laughed. "So get me one of those Chaos Elixirs! And stat! Hee-hee! This is gonna be soooo zany!"

Jadyr shouldered his way into the shop with a furtive look on his face. He frowned at the shelves of stinky potions and medicines. If Nathaniel wasn't pulling his leg, that bright odd-shaped one ought to help Jonah's health stabilize a little better. Jadyr reached up and pulled down a Chaos Draught, turning it over in his hands and shaking the liquid around gently. It looked like unicorn vomit, if he was honest. Smirking at the thought, Jadyr walked over to the counter and tossed the payment onto it as he passed, tucking the vial into the roomy pocket of his jacket and walking out the way he came.

Couldn't the professor have done this himself? Ruiko didn't spend too long wondering on that thought. Knowing him, he probably had a million other weird things to attend to. Or maybe it was just easier to make her go instead. Like he didn't think she had a life or friends or import things to do. Well, like it or not, she agreed to help out, so she might as well get it over with.

She skated into the shop with seemingly little regard for the multitude of glass bottles laying around. The truth was that she trusted her skating skills enough not to be worried about the fragile nature of this shop. One by one she looked over the bottles, checking them against the professor's notes. Eventually, she found the one that matched. At least, she thought it was the right one.

In one hand she held a Palette Potion and in the other, the keystones to pay for it. Without a word, she handed the money to the shopkeeper and whizzed out the door with the potion.

Potions were not the kind of thing she usually went shopping for, but Kaden was asking for her help on this, so she might as well give it a shot. Junebug shouldered her way into the store, her hands shoved in the pockets of her work pants and eyes quickly scanning over the labels. There sure were a lot of them, but Kaden had asked of two of something specific, so she couldn't just go grabbing stuff.

"Aha!" she breathed, catching sight of the "Lovey Love" sign. Why on earth the delivery boy needed these in particular she did not know, nor was she about to ask. She made her way around the other customers to the round, purple bottles and grabbed two before heading toward the counter. She snagged a sparkly rainbow bottle on the way, too, out of pure curiosity. If it did anything interesting, she could find someone looking for it later.

She set the bottles on the counter and fished in her pocket for the keystones. "Two Lovey-Love Potions and a, uh, Chaos Draught," she said, finding the money at last. "Thank you, have a good day."

Taji couldn't believe how fast they ran out of potions, hadn't Fia bought some not that long ago? Either way she'd wandered down to the shop, seeking a handful of things which could only be bought there. It hadn't been a particularly adventurous day around the library anyway, so she was grateful to avoid the sorting of books that were out of date. Bounding into the shop with a bounce and a bright smile, Taji took a look around the shop. "Hello there! I guess we need a few more potions." She beamed all but skipping up to the counter. "I guess I need one Palette Potion, one Generative Draught, and one Impel Liquor." That should keep them in stock for a bit, so long as they were careful with them.

Shyster nudged his way into the odd shop, wrinkling his nose slightly at the smell before putting on a flash of a smirking smile at the old shopkeeper. "Howdy sir, howdy there. Listen, I need you to fix me up real quick, yeah?" he said, leaning on the counter and raising an eyebrow. "I got a client, see, and they need somethin' fast. I'll just pick 'em up and be on my way, out of your hair, out of your beard hair, out of all your hair. I just need one'a these here Lovey Love Potions and an XY Draught." Shyster picked up both potions and grinned, transferring them to one arm as he flipped some coins onto the counter. "Much obliged, much obliged."

It was a little late in the war to be pledging allegiance, but the stocky woman had her reasons. Evidently, there were added benefits to participating in the fight - benefits that she could certainly manipulate in her favor. With steadfast movement, she entered the Brewery and approached the counter. "I hear you have some badges in stock, hm? I'm in need of one," she spoke as she placed 50 KS on the countertop. "Make it Imperial." It was almost blasphemous to her heritage, but in the chaos of the war she didn't think anyone would pay particular attention to that.

Viper was eager to get what she needed and get going. She had too many things to do to dawdle here for too long. Striding into the shop, she plastered a pleasant smile on her lips, giving the man behind the counter a thinly veiled look of annoyance. "Hello," she greeted, steadying her voice into one that wasn't dripping with an eagerness to leave. "I'd very much like a Chaos Draught. As quickly as possible, if you don't mind, sir."

A Thorn Thief entered, not so much walking as scuttling along. He knew he shouldn't have had to anymore, but now it was habit; and Dante said not to do it anymore, since it made him look suspicious. Still, it was hard for him to stop. He eyed the shopkeeper, checking for ill intent or an arm poised to throw something. Finding neither, he belatedly straightened himself up.

"Skitter want... Skitter want Chaos Draught. Skitter has money. Beard man take money?" He held out his hands, in which was cradled a small pile of keystones. "This much?"

The potions in the shop were strange, and not the kind she familiar with. There wasn't even any potions to heal wounds, or provide a boost to magical prowess. No, these potions seemed more in the vein of certain reproduction features. She wasn't proud to admit it, but she needed something from the shop. The Gods must have thought she was crazy, especially for who she had fallen for, but no, it wasn't for him. She was here on other... circumstances to which she didn't want to admit to.

The monk sighed, picking up a potion, turning it in her hands a few times. So this is what it came to then. "I will be purchasing this Palette Potion please," she made a face at the strange bottle, placing the keystones on the counter. At least that child will look the way she is on the inside, corrupted.

Kail entered the brewery with a smile. He had some special plans coming up, and he was excited to see them come into fruition. All he needed was one little potion. "Hello," he greeted. "I would like to buy two palette potions," he said. Kail didn't even try to keep the excitement out of his voice.

This was a bit out of his usual line of work, but Janarel wasn't about to complain. Potions were important, after all. He'd been kept alive in the field more times than he could count by some concoction or another. Walking into the shop, he allowed himself a moment to stare at the bottles on display before approaching the counter and setting down his money. "I need one palette potion please," he said. He had no idea what it was, but he doubted he would be able to do much with the knowledge even if he had it.
