Virtus did not understand why he had to be the one to fetch the potions. He was fine with doing more intricate errands. Like the easter raffle. But in his defense, that was a mess. but this was just a couple of potions on a slip of paper and a bag of keystones.

Damn, he had even drawn pictures.

How could anyone get this wrong?

He sighed and strode to the counter, glancing at the paper in his hand again. "Ah, hey, yeah. I'm looking for an Elixir of Fertility, a Chaos Draught and a Generative Draught. I have all the money here. Is that possible?"

"Oh, hello there mista' wizard."  A tiny sounding voice piped up.  A little pale Langerine crawled up a nearby stool so that they could be better seen.  Their eyes sparkled with child-like excitement.  "Momma sent me to pick up some potions, yes she did!"  They beamed, quite proud of themself.  "Here ya go!"  They said as they slid a piece of neatly folded paper over to the shopkeep, just barely keeping themselves from toppling over by clinging to the chair with their tail.

To be entirely honest he did not want to be here. He wanted nothing to do with crazy so called "magic" potions that had erratic and possibly dangerous effects on the body, but he was in the position of wanting a family, while being very much infertile. So with little other option Ceres entered the store with a grumble and a scowl. The place was exactly how he expected it to be, full of mysticism, mayhem, and messiness. The exact opposite of everything he was by nature, but being raised by the military tended to instill a strong need for order in anyone.

Snatching the potion he needed off of the shelf he approached the counter and set it down along with this world's currency.

"I'll be needing one elixir of fertility. I've provided the necessary currency of 175 keystones."

The girl entered the shop, looking around, and exclaiming happily when she saw what she had come here for. There was a certain potion which made interesting things happen and she certainly was excited for what would happen when she used it for a certain plan she had. So she walking up to the shopkeep and requested the potion for said plans because she needed it for reasons that no one would be surprised about, really, when it all came down it to.

"So anyway, that's why I think that bears should get at least forty percent of the profits from any, uh, any sales of bear claws... s'like, copyright, yeah? It's like that. The pastries are delicious and bears are too big to make 'em, sure, but it's still their claws..." 2D rambled as he ambled a few feet in front of Ace, talking loud enough to be heard, even if the new bassist wasn't particularly interested in listening. "Then again, I'm not quite sure what a bear would do with royalty checks. Maybe buy a nicer cave for winter. Or a few picnic baskets."

Ace glanced up at a shop as they begun to pass it, lowering his pointed shades to stare up at the sign. A hand shot out and grabbed the back of 2D's collar, making the frontman gag slightly before stumbling back enough to let up on the pressure. "Yo, 'D... let's get some drinks for after the show. I'm sick of the dishwater they have waitin' for us back there."

"We drink dishwater?" 2D asked, rubbing his neck and blinking vacantly at Ace. The latter grinned, nodding his head.

"Yeah, guess you didn't notice. C'mon--we can each pick out or favorites. The others didn't wanna come along, so they'll miss out," Ace said, looping an arm around 2D's shoulders and practically swinging the both of them inside the liquor store.

2D tapped his fingers together in a little pattern as he followed Ace through the aisles, looking at all the labels with so little thought on his face. Ace had already picked up three bottles of something 2D couldn't recognize--must be American--and was moving to pick up a forth. 2D suddenly gasped, darting over to a place on the wall. Ace's brows cocked with mild interest at what had caught the singer's attention. "Lookit!" he exclaimed, jamming a finger on a label of some Danish brand with a bear logo. "Somefin' bears could buy!"

"Somth--what," Ace mumbled, his brows knitting together in the most genuine confusion he'd ever expressed. "Buy?"

"With their royalty checks!" 2D's expression was lit up like a sunbeam, and it was giving Ace a headache. And a weird happiness. In fact, he found himself grinning, and shaking his head with a kind of groaning sigh.

"You're a weirdo, 'D. Don't buy that brand, it's worse than dishwater," Ace chuckled, moving towards the front of the store to pay. In the end, 2D joined him with a sixpack of fruity island beers that he'd picked up because he thought the girl on the front was pretty--that, and it was the only one Ace hadn't turned away for being undrinkable.

He rushed through the crowd as quickly as possible. He had just been given a very important and urgent errand to do! As he kept accidentally bumping into people and pets alike, he profusely but quickly apologized, continuing on his way to the shop. He had no time to waste!

With a pant and needing a bit of time to recover, he put the money on the counter. "H-hello!" he gasped. "I-I n-need a Chaos Draught, p-please!" he ordered, pushing the money just a bit further towards the shopkeeper.

It had actually been some time since Rhodes had had occasion to come out to the potions shop like this. Of course, he wasn't complaining about that. As someone who had once been a witch's familiar, he had privately always thought it a bit odd to be buying potions from someone else.

Still, he didn't know the brewing of these potions, and they weren't exactly short on money these days.

"I'll take two Chaos Draughts," he said.

Potions were so, so convenient. There wasn't a one that Kail hadn't bought. At the very least, there were only a few he hadn't bought. "I need one Elixir of Choice," he said. Kuhna genetics were so completely lost on him, the potion was a godsend. Sometimes something specific was needed, and when one had no idea how to get the specifics being able to just choose was marvelous. It wasn't even that many key stones. Soon enough the kuhna he needed would get to him.

Again with silly errands! This time Sarin let her host do all the work, letting the red head do all the talking while they told her what to do in the back of her mind. For Sarin, they had enough of running around doing this and that-- and not getting a suitable reward from it. The least Anna could have done was get chocolate or some other treat, but no, no food for them. "Excuse me, I am here to pick up two Palette Potions please," she smiled softly, ignoring Sarin's complaints in the back of her mind. There were times Anna really regretted letting the symbiote take her, oh well-- things happen.

Another day another errand. Skylark once more had to do her rounds so that she'd be able to properly take care of the things which she wanted to take care of. You know how it was. And so she found herself here, once again, seeking out a Chaos Draught to use. The girl looked around the shop and made her selection easily enough, bringing it over to the counter with a smile. "This'll be all, again, today."

Now this was the kind of job she could get behind. Sending her, the premier expert in magical combat (at least, the premier expert among the rather limited circle of people she spoke with), to deliver a message to an ancient sorcerer was a commendable decision, and she would reward their trust and confidence by delivering it to the best of her ability.

Standing on the countertop, feathers fluffed to make her look more intimidating, she looked straight into the eyes of the mage who ran this brewery. Yes, this would do quite nicely. 'I have an order to make,' she declared.

The cooling weather, and the occasionally overcast day, of the new autumn made Mixie's life just a little bit easier. Still, though, the odd little Socross still carried her parasol everywhere she went, as she almost never went without it.

"Hello," she greeted casually after wandering into the shop. "A friend of mine is currently up to some... project. She needs some sort of potion for that. A Palette Potion. You can help, right?"

Reuniting with her father after so much time actually went over better than she thought. She learned about her ancestral home, their language, and some physiology. However, she wasn't too happy to hear that her father wanted to find someone again, someone she never got along with-- and was very much afraid of. Still, she wasn't going to deny what he/they wanted, and it would make him/them happy. "Greetingssss... I am in need of a Palette Potion, yes? Have keystones here. Thank you." The symbiote grinned before high-tailing it out of there. She needed to pick up some chocolate on the way back to her father's den. Home. Whatever.

A list of things to do was never ending. Thus, Rhodes found himself out for yet another shopping trip on a weekend when he really ought to be working on other things.

But then, it was something of a sensitive transaction, and he wasn't sure if he trusted anyone else to do the job. And so here he was, hopping onto a counter that had become thoroughly familiar to him by now.

"Pardon the intrusion, but I hear that you have a new stock of the Elixir of Fertility? I'd like one, to be paid for with these... Goddess Tears, if you please."

Hyx was unused to being out of supplies. He wasn't quite sure how it had happened, but he'd run short on something he was in dire need of. It was convenient then that the potion maker had changed the way his stock worked. "I need two palette potions," he said. Hyx wasn't trying to sound impatient, but he also wasn't not trying either.
