The doctor stared down at the paper in his hand as he entered the shop. While he was familiar with medicine, potions were a different matter, and he had requested for the names of those he needed to be written down for him. His lips moved without making a sound as he tried to commit the names to memory, so that he wouldn't stumble over them when he spoke them aloud.

Finally, he looked up from the paper and spoke. "I require a few of your potions. I need  2 Elixirs of Fertility, and 3 Lovey Love Potions. Unless your prices have changed, the total for all five potions should be 470 KS." He pulled out the correct payment and offered it to the older man. "Here you are. If you could simply gather the correct potions for me, I would be incredibly grateful."

This had been... well, yes, a slight oversight on their part. He wasn't about to let it slide. Unfortunately, it meant he would have to go out and buy the extra stock himself, which did not please him in the slightest. Rhodes strode briskly into the shop, clearing his throat. "I need two Generative Draughts please, and do be quick about it, would you? I'm in a bit of a rush." That was, as far as things went, a bit of an understatement, but he wasn't about to regale a shopkeeper with the details of his troubles.

The Christmas season was just around the corner too, and he would have to set aside some time to plan the proceedings for those... Halloween had come to a close less than a month ago, but he was already behind. The year-end holidays were somehow always a disaster. He was still muttering to himself as he left the shop, finances fresh on his mind.

Nyx had absolutely no idea what she was doing here, or how she had gotten talked into running errands for Jett while she was out about town. There was no reason that Jett couldn't do these things herself. Actually, Nyx was almost entirely convinced that Jett had been specifically ordered to start doing things for herself by her parents. Yet here she was, poking her way into the Mage's Brewery with a small pouch full of Jett's keystones and hoping her own parents wouldn't be out shopping and run into her. She knew what sorts of potions the place sold, how it would look if she was caught here.

Nyx darted a glance inside, checking to see if anyone that she recognized were lurking about, and then darted through the door and up to the counter. She was a bit winded when she shoved the pouch of keystones down. "I just need to purchase One Elixer of Fertility, please." She spoke in one long rush, as though she couldn't get the words out fast enough. What Jett needed this of all things for was beyond her, and she didn't want to ask.

Kail entered the shop, thankful to be out of the cold weather. It had been quite some time since he'd found himself in the brewery but little had changed. It was kind of nice to see the place again. "Hello, I need two generative draughts, a chaos draught, and an xy draught," he said. Even in the cold he was expected to run errands. It was too bad he couldn't send out someone else, someone more used to snow, out in his stead.

Neo crumpled and uncrumpled the piece of parchment in his hand as he headed down the street to the Mage's Brewery. This was his first trip to such a place, and he had to admit that he was a bit unsure about it. It was no secret that he often made mistakes on his assignments, so he was extra careful when writing down the name of the potions he was meant to pick up. The only problem was that now he had gone and scrunched them up. With a little sigh, he carefully tried to flatten out the parchment against the outside wall of the shop.

"Oliver... no, Elixir of Fortune? Serenity? No that's not right," Neo whispered to himself, staring intensely at the smudged ink marks on the page. "Well, here goes nothing."

He decided that he would just go into the shop and take his chances. He was just buying a powerful magical brew, after all. What could go wrong? "Um," Neo said to the Mage, staring intensely at his beard. "I need a. No two. Two Elixirs of Fertility, please."

Well, it would seem that there was just no end to the errands for Atlas this year. Albeit, he hadn't exactly been forced into all that trick-or-treating for Halloween (indeed, all of that was of his own accord, and he'd actually had to plead his case in the first place for permission as well), that still didn't make this trip any less effort. Atlas supposed that considering how much money Flame had been willing to spend on his need for tricks nad treats, it was the least he could do to help out with some of the chores that needed doing. After all, he did enjoy getting out of the house, and this was as good an excuse as any.

However, picking out potions was a little more advanced than just bringing in keystones for tricks and treats, but his mistress had sent him well-prepared for the situation. Attached to a sizable bag of keystones was a note which read as follows:
I'd like to place an order for some potions, in the quantities listed below:
Elixir of Fertility (x2) - 350KS
Generative Draught (x2) - 100KS

Total = 450KS

Thanks so much!

Little did Atlas know that this was his mistress's single haul from the potion shop for the year, but why make multiple visits when everything could be done in one fell swoop? After all, the pup didn't mind the work, as long as he was rewarded with treats afterwards. Of course, that would be contingent upon him returning without accidentally breaking any of the bottles first.

Okay, maybe this was getting a little out of hand. Atlas had barely just finished up his last errand when he'd been sent out on yet another. The ironic part was that he was now coming back to the exact same store, but in his defense, this time it wasn't his fault. It had been his mistress who'd forgotten something on her shopping list, and as such, he had to live with the consequences of her forgetfulness. Nevertheless, he still kept his happy-go-lucky attitude on as he bounded back into the shop. Regardless of how redundant this visit might seem, he really didn't mind getting out of the house, and considered this an opportunity to do so. This time, he toted a much smaller pouch of keystones, and the note only had a few words scribbled on it. It read as follows: "So sorry about visiting again so soon. It seems that I forgot to pick up One Chaos Draught last time I was here. You'll find the correct payment enclosed, and thank you so much for your help!"

Running errands was less than his favorite chore but this time it was bound to yield fruitful results. Calculations had been done, and a bit of money slipped between hands to ensure he got his fair share of profit this time around. The Lunatic would get his potions, and one stored away for his own use later. Plans had already been made for the right time to administer it as well.

Sauntering up to the counter with his usual swagger Tremere grinned at the old man behind it before throwing down his bag of Keystones. "There should be enough in there. Two Generative Draughts and One Emission Liquor. Bag one of those Generative Draughts separately. I have need of it later."

Desmund walked into the brewery, taking in all its strange sights and scents. There was a distinctly...odd sensation in the air of this shop, one that he could only presume was the result of magic. He slunk past the feet of the other customers and made his way to the shelves that held what he needed. He looked up; they were much too high to reach as a Kuhna. With a flurry of fur and cloth, he transformed into his human form.

He took two potions off the shelves and then went to Kelloc. He set down some Keystones and smirked. "I'd like to take this Lovey Love Potion and XY Draught, please," he said. "For...reasons."

This was probably the last place the girl had expected to find herself. For one, she wasn't very familiar with these parts. For another, she had no idea what she was doing here to begin with! She'd come to this shack on a friend's recommendation, you see, and when she spotted the old shopkeeper and all of his wares she froze up a little bit. Her hand clenched around the meager shopping list her friend had given her to tell her what she needed, the girl managed to murmur a few items before looking around as if they would magically appear before her. "Um, I'm here for two elixirs of fertility and two generative draughts? That's what this says, anyway, to get what I want, and I, uh, have 450 "KS" for them."

She had, in all honesty, forgotten that she could get two of each potion a year. She hadn't come by since the rule had been enacted, save for some elixirs. But now she was back, eager to get her supply for the year. "Hmmm," she muttered, perusing the stock. "I think I'd like two generative draughts, please! Thank you very much!"

I love adventurous tales like that. That uplifting feeling that comes from seeing unknown lands and the knowledge that you came across—nothing can replace it! It opens a path from which self-confidence, experience, and important friendships—from the sharing of life or death situations—are born! But hearing it just isn’t the same. I want to create my own magnificent story!

A great adventure!

Turbo seemed a bit confused as to why he was there, something for Skylark maybe? She had wanted him to grab something, since it would be an excuse to let him roam around. So long as he came home. He was obedient enough to listen to that, yeah, but he could still be quite unruly. He quickly grabbed the Elixir of Fertility potion he was sent out to retrieve, pushing the keystones onto the counter, then left the shop. He was tempted to drink it, but knew he would get in trouble for doing so.

Zekiel walked into the shop with an easy smile. It was made easier, of course, by the absence of his partner. He loved his colleague, he really did, but it was always a bit hard to play the charm card when one was always dogged with the presence of someone as sour-faced as Koen. "One Palette Potion, if you please," he said, laying the cash out on the counter. "It's for a... special job."

Actually, he had no idea what it was for, but sometimes the client asked for strange things. As long as Zekiel wasn't the one who had to use it, he didn't ask any questions. In this line of work, that was probably for the best. You slept better at night, lived longer, and all that.

Vincent had found himself running errands almost nonstop lately. Not that he was annoyed about it, exactly, but he'd nearly crashed three times on the way over here and the weather didn't look to be letting up any time soon. That was really only a minor inconvenience, though, and he wasn't particularly out of sorts as he entered the shop, which is to say that a sort of vague scowl hung about his face, but more out of habit than anything else.

"Good afternoon," he said to the sorcerer. "I'd like to purchase an Elixir of Fertility, please." It took all his restraint not to tap his claws on the counter. He wasn't impatient, but it would certainly look that way, and Nissa had already criticized his demeanor once today.

A strange character walked into the brewery, dressed in such a manner that would doubtless turn heads no matter what.  He wore thick goggles over his eyes, and once he was in the shop, he took off those goggles and blinked several times, as though his eyes were adjusting to the light inside the shop.  After a few minutes, the man approached the counter, a piece of paper finding its way to the counter with a strange script on it.

"I need these items, as quickly as you can," the man said simply.  After a few minutes, it occurred to him that, perhaps, nobody on the shop's staff could read the lettering on the paper, and he sighed as he shook his head.

"...forgive me.  I forget that not everyone can read this," he said.  "I require one Lovey-Love potion, one Palette Potion, and one Impel Liquor.  I have been told that this currency should cover the costs."

Maybe I'm foolish, maybe I'm blind
Thinking I can see through this to see what's behind
Got no way to prove it, so maybe I'm lying
Take a look in the mirror, what do you see
Can you see it clearer, or are you deceived in what you believe?
Don't ask my opinion, don't ask me to lie
Then beg for forgiveness for making you cry
'cause I'm no prophet or Messiah
You should go looking somewhere higher

I'm only human, I make mistakes
I'm only human, I do what I can
I'm only human, that's all it takes to put the blame on me

Don't put the blame on me
