Woah. This world was new and strange. The Solokross had not expected to be allowed to roam. When he was undergoing the treatments to become the thing he was now he'd never expected to see the outside of the laboratory. A part of him had not expected to see another day. The Solokross made a sort of hissing noise. He was too big to enter the building.

The vials almost seemed to twitch against her skin. The fragments seemed to vibrate. The things that Nara had collected--with no thanks to that infuriating cryptid hunter and that no-good alien escapee--were theoretically just inert chunks of DNA and hunks of rock. But the closer she brought them together, the more alive they seemed. All together in the pocket of her bag, they seemed to hum and buzz. It was if they all wanted to come together.

But if that was going to happen, it needed to be in a controlled space. And the most controlled she knew of was the Evo-Lux Emporium. She wasn't entirely sure if she trusted the... scientists... working here, but she knew that they would be able to combine the DNA and fragments into something... whole. Whatever it was.

As soon as hyperspace lanes had opened up, Xyshari and Lana had hopped on the first transport off of the planet, though Xyshari had promised Ti they would be quick about the errand: they'd go, do what they set off to do, and come right back - she knew that, while he was concerned about both of them, the concern was actually primarily towards Lana, since she did not have the same ability as them to purge maladies from her body like they did. As such, both were wearing masks with respirators built in.

"We were told that you could... do something with these items," Lana said, her voice distorted by the respirator. "If you could do whatever it is you do with these items, and then send them along to this address..."

Watson scampered into the shop, the bag he was wearing over his shoulders clinking and clanking with the various items he'd collected. He crouched, leaping up so that he was now sitting on the counter, before taking the bag off and upending it. Just to make sure there was no confusion about what he wanted, he finally pushed over a piece of paper with his order written on it.

They'd spent so long observing, waiting in a state of profound tension, terrified that something would go wrong, that the process would be incomplete and all their work would come to nothing. But despite delays and mistakes, all the materials had finally been delivered as requested, and it remained only for them to make the exchange.

They carried the specimens in an enameled box commissioned just for this purpose, because if they were going to invest in this endeavor they might as well have fun with it. Now they handed it over. "Careful with that. It was expensive."

Class: Tyrant
Observations: In it's natural habitat, it's a fiercely territorial monster and clashes between individuals can last for days on end. It's tough, bark-like hide can withstand even the strongest of blows and it's claws and horn can rend prey with ease. Unlike others of it's species, it cannot control the mana coursing under it's skin, instead, this power acts as a shield, warding off most magical attacks.

Most curiously, despite being carnivorous in nature it does not actively hunt. Instead, it seems to establish dominion over the creatures in it's territory, demanding tithes in exchange for protection and eating any hapless inhabitant that cannot meet it's demands.

Class: Predator
Observations: Creatures infected with the Solar-X tend to be aggressive by nature and the Everfall Solokross is no exception. This plant-lizard hybrid is exclusively found in forest environments and is known for travelling in packs to bring down larger prey.

Through the use of it's natural magic ability, this creature is capable of putting down roots and assuming an inanimate state to ambush prey or to recover from bad wounds.

Class: Observer
Observations: While wild Ipinox tend to derive their coloration from the seasons, or moon phases, upon introduction, the Everfall strain seems to aggressively attack the specimen's DNA and forces this particular coloration to show. The Ipinox gains a tough hide, similar to ironwood and it's mane and tail, resemble foliage when observed under a microscope.

In their natural habitat, the Everfall Ipinox is a fast, curious creature that tends to steal from humans that travel through their territory.

This was... wrong. Everything about this felt wrong.

Well, okay so maybe he approved of one singular person messing about with this sort of biological experimentation and this woman running the lab definitely wasn't her. But, well. He was supposed to give her those samples from that Chaos that was running rampant around Aldrect. So. There. Civic duty done, now he could book a train from Aldrect to the coast, and then from there, a boat across the strait.

And then he could be back in Barakka and more importantly, back home.

They were at it again, unfortunately. Well, not unfortunately for them, but as for the people who'd expressed a certain degree of concern for their welfare over the past several months...those people would not be thrilled to know they were here.

With any luck, and the careful application of an overcoat with a large hood, none of those people would have to find out anyway.

They had the same enameled box as before, which had been returned to them along with the result of the previous project and in perfect condition. This time they felt no need to admonish the person behind the counter to take care, but simply nodded in appreciation and withdrew.

Observations: Weaver Ipinox retains some luna metachrosis, however while other Ipinox go through this process exclusively during fetal development, the Weaver Ipinox will continue changing color for the rest of it's life. During a new moon, the creature is entirely black, gradually revealing golden scales, the closer it is to a full moon. Notably, due to exposure the Strain, the Weaver Ipinox cannot meet it's nutritional needs through moonlight alone and must supplement it's diet with meat to survive. This tricky creature prefers not to hunt, instead capable of setting traps made of extremely fine golden thread.

Observations: Chaos-derived substance initially rejected by specimen, likely due to assumed Seraphic origin. Recommend suppression of immune system for future integration. The Weaver Ilos retains pro-humanity disposition, despite the exposure to the pathogen . Subject is noted to be able to use thread to (physically?) rip dreams and nightmares directly from sleeping subjects, though is unable to consume them directly like other subspecies. When threatened, this specimen is capable of trapping would-be threats in these nightmares, long enough for it to slip away.

Where was he again? The building looked familiar - it had four walls, a roof, and a sign in front - but if that were the metric by which he evaluated familiarity, then he could safely say every building in this complex looked familiar.

This particular sign, though, matched the one he'd jotted down earlier. 'Evo-Lux Emporium.' It seemed this was where his package was headed - he just hoped it wasn't anything too suspicious.

Observations: Overall, the Weaver Phyrette retains most of it's lively and mischievous personality after the pathogen is subsumed. It seems to be faster, stronger and more agile than others of it's species, at the cost of an almost dangerously rapid metabolism. Like other Weavers, it is capable of summoning a fine thread and is capable of using it to trip up and confuse prey larger than itself.

The Lusikross wasn't used to civilization. He was used to the vast open plains. It was strange now, feelings so boxed in. Crowded. Everything was everywhere and it was all so close. But he felt a calling. A pull. That led him to this place, and he wasn't going to question it now. There was a change that needed to be brought out, and this was the place in which it was meant to come forth.

Observations: Hide is patterned with glittering stars and galactic clouds that shimmers and shifts depending on the specimens mood, and it can be dulled completely while it is hunting, rendering it practically invisible to prey. Cold temperatures are preferred. Personalities seem tempered and controlled and they make viable human companions, though some stress testing may need to be done to be sure.

She was itching, coming here. She could feel her goal coming ever closer, just within her grasp. She didn't have all the materials for everything she wished to do here, which was certainly frustrating. But she found happiness in the fact that she could now afford to come here, finally. Although her pride took a massive blow at needing the help of these strange places, they brought her closer to her goal. She would have to get over it.

Upon reaching the counter, she said little - nothing at all, for a matter of fact. She simply put down a syringe and a strange vial in front of the doctor. Looking up at them, her eyes said it all.
