But whatever the issue was, things had picked up again, and so here he was with a van full of complaining animals who would soon be turned to a better purpose than the one they had come from. Or so he assumed. It was the sort of thing one didn't like to ask questions about.

Mort walked in to the Saloon whistling a happy tune to himself. Behind him, three animals trudged in dejectedly, collared and leashed. It was a confusing and scary day for those three sentient creatures, but Mort was only focused on his own benefit. He was here to earn some quick cash and couldn't care less about where the three animals ended up.

"Good morning Salvis," Mort said as he flashed a grin. "I've got some fresh meat for you; one Sundae Kuhna and two Marbled Terratops."

The jobs involving monsters were by far some of her least favorite. People? People were easy, or at least they were predictable. Monsters were a whole other thing. Still, she needed the money, and when a monster job was the only one available, she had to take it. How hard could it be?

Valka stomped into the Saloon and threw a Roosken on the floor. Of all the monsters she had chased down, this one was by far the most evil. The innocent looking bird looked around cutely, as if it were asking 'why are you so angry?' Valka left it there and thrust her open hand out to Salvis. "There you go, I got him," she grumbled. Clearly, she just wanted to go home and wash the feathers out of her hair.

He walked into the shop and passed over his unwanted goods as he nodded his thanks.

Colin Robinson is a daywalker, he enjoys doing errands for his housemates because he knows that he can drain their energy later that night explaining the bus route he took that morning, any irregularities that happened and of course the whole experience of taking the little critters to the saloon. The saloon didn't really stand out to Colin Robinson, he'd probably pass by it if it wasn't for his Google Maps app that he had downloaded onto his phone earlier that morning. In his Costco reusable bag he had the critters inside comfortably...well comfortable enough he thought aloud, he's not apart of Staten Island Animal Control so the critters will have to make do.
"Hey! Is there anyone here? I need some assistance," he yelled into the shop. No answer. "Well, I'm gonna just leave these Mondrakel, Naughty Reindoe, Observe Sabbit here then...bye".

With a kid on the way, Fox needed money and fast. What better way then to turn in some bounties? He drug the two creatures towards the bar and wheezed when he finally made it there. With a flourish he pulled out the bounty papers and set them down on the counter.

"I'll be taking the coin now," He grinned behind his mask, his voice coming out metallic. He hoped that he'd be paid quickly before the temptation to buy something set in. He had to save up for the kid.

"Hey," rumbled the Terratops. "So we heard that you give creatures who are tired of living where they are a new lease on life. Plus some compensation for their old families."

"We don't really care about the compensation part," added the Florana. "But we're quite interested in the idea of leaving everything behind."

"So," asked the Kuhna, leaning forward, "will you take us?"

There were a few housecleaning items Hyx had to get through. Less than usual, which was good. It would give him some time to himself. A rare and sometimes undesired thing. Being busy kept his mind blessedly occupied. Traveling a ways to the Saloon had been uneventful and he would return to the same uneventful castle.
