It had been some time since Jakerz had last appeared at the strange Saloon, ran by it's shifty caretaker. Once more, the man that was more often a Gallizar was stretching out his Lucain legs. He had to make sure the empty sack of a body hadn't deteriorated any since the last time he sported it out.

"Hey," he called upon entering, in a casual tone. "I have a few things for you. You'll take them off my hands, wont you?"

It wasn't her favorite kind of job, but better work had been hard to come by lately. She picked up a couple at once, just so she wasn't too bored to finish. She managed to grab all three renegade animals in relatively little time. Valka already collected her reward from those who put up the notices, but she had nothing to do with the creatures afterward. Clearly, the job posters didn't want them, and she didn't think simply killing them was that great of an idea either.

Valka knew of a shop that picked up abandoned creatures for extra coin. She had no idea what they did with them, but she didn't really care. It was better than shooting them herself. She dragged the cages into the shop and plopped them on the floor. "I'm hoping to barter for these creatures I've trapped," she said, straight and to the point.

Sarsaparilla couldn't help but to think that this 'assignment' was really more 'running errands,' but she wasn't about to protest. It was an easy A, even if it felt a little demeaning. She was a powerful warrior, not someone's pet sitter. They didn't even let her do the hunting and catching part herself. Some other lucky student got that job. At least she'd get some extra time off to go shopping in the city after this.

She walked into the Saloon with the creatures in tow and went up to speak with Salvis. She looked over the top of her glasses as she spoke. "We wrangled up some monsters that were making a mess on campus." She placed a business card for the school on the counter. "You know how this works."

"Hey there!" A somewhat cheery voice sang out as she stepped into the saloon. "Heard you're looking for breedables, and figured I could oblige you." She grinned as she indicated a soft celestial lucain. I don't think she'll be here long, she is quite pretty. I just can't find a use for her myself." The lucain in question entered demurely, though she didn't seem to be bothered at the prospect of being left here. In fact, she kinda seemed... curious? Maybe she'd find something more welcoming than just being thrown in with a bunch of other critters milling about and languishing in a comfortable house in the middle of nowhere. "Anyway, if she meets your needs, I'll take those funds and let you two get to know each other. Thanks!"

Trains. He'd never been on one himself, and he doubted he'd ever set foot in one.

Changed out from his work-clothes into something more civil, the crisp white suit wasn't the only thing to stand out in the yard. While the machine was definetly out of commission, it was set up in a spectacular fashion- it reminded something of himself, the whole idea of the train being a corpse, left to decompose, and yet fancied up for display as though it were new and in working order.

Ozon absent-mindedly tucked his well-worn cane under an arm, rubbing his no doubt formaldehyde-stanched hands together. It was one thing to take a walk around the block and away from work, it was another thing entirely to take work off of the mind.

Replacing his cane and fixing his posture, he began a stoic putz around the area, dark sclera eyes looking grim against the red iris', peering carefully over dark dark, round sunglasses. He always felt out of sorts, always ghostly white and evidently reeking of death, but there was no such feeling here. Infact he felt (for once in his life) that he'd managed to have just an average, evening stroll.

"Hello, friend," He did try to sound friendly, despite the flat-tone drone which his associate would ordinarily call him out on, "I had heard  that this is the place to give up some..unwanted guests,"

A crisp white slip was folded in his front pocket, and he pulled it out to give it a glance, making sure these were the creatures he was setting up to sell;

Nico really never thought he would be doing something like this. But then, he never thought he would become a Pokemon either. Life seemed pretty determined to throw him a few curve balls, in that regard.

And, well, their little fledgeling rescue team needed the money. And these were criminals, even if they were only small-time petty ones, because their team wasn't advanced enough to take on more dangerous bounties.

Now this was unusual! It wasn't often Rook found themselves out and about. Particularly not doing one of Chester's jobs. Still, he was busy being grumpy about Christmas (among other things), and Rook had found themselves in a position to be helpful. It was... nice. What on earth was Chester complaining about, really? Daft old sod, he was.

Rook jumped over a half-frozen puddle, and grinned to no one in particular. Hm. After this they could go and do, well, anything they wanted. Oh!! Ice skating! It had been so long since Rook had even thought about ice-skating, they couldn't actually remember if they could ice skate or not. They'd find out, they supposed.

They quickly made their way inside to deposit the creatures they'd brought with them. "Hey! Mister! I got some creatures for you! Um. I got the paperwork here."

There was a thud, a box unceremoniously dropped onto the counter. It was plain, bore signs of wear and tear, rough edges and splinters here and there so it wasn't expertly crafted. The lock, however, was another story. Plain brass was the material but the metal was so thinly woven into a delicate, interlocking pattern that it wasn't immediately obvious that it could be opened. That was ignoring the golden, glowing rune searing over it.

"One more lost soul." The man huffed, waving a hand over the box, triggering the mechanism to start unwinding. "Payment is... expected."

Chuckling as he entered the saloon, the sound seemed almost too strange coming from the mouth of a Lucain, but, regardless, Jakerz seemed amused. Just as it was amusing to celebrate the winter holidays by bringing about someone's end, starting the new years in the same way was splendid. "Happy New Years," he greeted, shoving forward a small bag with his snout.

After some deliberation he'd come to the conclusion that some pets just weren't the right fit any more. Luckily there was this place which could take them in. "I'm dropping off these pets here," he said, gesturing to the pets he'd brought with him.

Chester was out and about again, it was heading towards evening and there was a very definite chill in the air. He was glad for his long black coat and thick scarf. It was raining, or just about draining. A sort of icy drizzle. His breath condensed in the air as he walked, hands stuffed in his pockets. He couldn't wait until he was at home, hands around a warm mug of tea. He had something to do before then, though.

He approached the saloon, too used to the sight of it to really take it in anymore and stepped inside. It wasn't much warmer inside than it was out, but he was grateful to be somewhere dry. Hello," he said. "I'm here to turn in a Desolation Ichthysaur, a Beastbones and a Plague Malphas."

It was time to do some dirty work. Ernie knew it wasn't as bad as he made out to be in his head but he always blessed the lucky stars that it wasn't him being salvaged away. His master just had no use for these ones anymore. He had seen loyal employees that had been in his masters payroll for longer than he had turned in. It was normal just as long as it was never him who had to leave.
