It was business as usual for the little messenger as it alighted in the shop. It had a writ tied to its neck, folded elegantly on a light lavender piece of paper. As it landed, its wings fluttering closed, and it retrieved the note itself, unfolding it with care. It wouldn't trust any of these ham-handed ruffians with its missive. Ever professional, it cleared its throat before reading it aloud. Its voice was surprisingly loud, high and clear like a bell. "I am here on behalf of the Celestial Bureaucracy," it said. "I understand we are to be welcoming a new member into our ranks? And there is the matter of some small purchases to be made on behalf of our esteemed masters, of course. Everything should be in order, as you see here." It produced another document, which it handed over primly, then sat back awaiting an answer.

Timothy walked into the Huntsman's Hall, keeping out of sight of the other shoppers. He didn't want anyone thinking he was there to be adopted, when he was merely running an errand.
Another day, another job. Nissa still insisted, when the subject came up, that she'd be taking a break soon, but somehow soon never seemed to come. It was just so hard to turn down new work. Ah, well, maybe with the season she'd manage a little time off. Orders tended to slow down for her around the holidays, strange as it seemed.
Zeveroux entered the hall with a sour taste in his mouth. Rouge AI were unsightly, and he needed to get back what was his before Malek could find out. At the very least he needed the AI back before Malek caught him. The thought of the consequences was more than enough to push the recluse out of his workshop. Mu was still back at his shop. If anyone showed up he would be able to take care of them. Zeveroux just hoped no one noticed his leaving. It was a prime time to go in and steal sensitive information about his lord. Despite the cold weather of winter, Mojave had braved the less than idyllic temperatures outside her desert home to come into town. Wen she descended to the ground and took her human form, she was dressed in a medium jacket over a long sleeve tee, jeans, and water proof steel toe boots. Her hair was tied back and draped over her shoulder so when she lifted her hood, her hair wouldn't get caught, tangled, and turn into a static mess. Lilith made her way into the odd establishment, glancing about herself as she entered the building. The walls were decorated with all sorts of pictures of exotic creatures from all stretches of the imagination, but that didn't change the fact that she was still somewhat skeptical of the establishment's ability to procure exactly what it was she was looking for. After all, how did people coming in with such specific demands end up getting exactly what they wanted? It was uncanny, to say the least, but what did she have to lose from trying? Plus, where else was she going to turn to get what she was looking for? She'd been holding on to this token, or voucher, or whatever it was for a while now, and figured it was high time she cashed it in. Walking up to the front desk, she deposited the odd-looking coin on the counter, pushing it over to the person on the other side.
