What happened instead was the mass spontaneous import and export of unwilling assets. One such asset had been unceremoniously dropped into Evelon and had made quick work of sounding crazy to anyone that would listen. It was an unfortunate side effect of being abducted across space and time by an uncaring and unknown force. A hot meal and a sympathetic ear would cure the whole ordeal. “I’m looking for someone to be brought in. The situation is delicate enough as it stands so discretion is key,” they said, making the needed arrangements for containment and rehabilitation.

The black mist had been everywhere over Evelon--and the Huntsman's Hall was no exception. A tiny black piece of it had wound its way inside to irritate the hunters within. But this little scud of mist wasn't interested in flying around and bothering people. Instead, it morphed into a pet--a Lost Leumoo, to be precise.

"Hey!" he said to the hunters. "I hear you guys are really good at finding people! Well, as it so happens, my master needs some help tracking someone down. Normally, he's pretty good at this, but it's a little complicated this time, because the person he needs is dead. I mean, they're still, y'know. Around. But they're a spirit now. And we thought you guys would have luck finding them, because we are actually REAL busy right now."

He slid forward 700 KS. "Gimmie that one. Also, I have a reference picture of the guy you're looking for...

The mist had been causing somewhat of a ruckus among the general population - curiosity, fear, the full gamut of standard reactions to an unfamiliar situation. She was unbothered. There were tasks to be completed.

"Hello," She said, slipping a scrap of parchment across the desk with a name and a number scrawled on it. "I would like to buy something for this person, please."

She found it deep in a dungeon and rescued it from the jaws of a dragon - or so, that's what she' say, anyway. She knew they were valuable and coveted, so she wanted to make sure that she chose to use it for the right purpose.

Eventually, she flipped the coin up into the air and caught it with her bow. A bright grin on her face suggested that she figured out her problem as she headed into the shop. She plunked the coin onto the counter dramatically and said, "Hi! I want to trade this for a Kitrell. ... No wait, I want a Penticorn... or maybe a Kalamarei? You know what, can you choose?"

Sssssssound good?" they said between small hisses of discomfort. Easy enough... right?

A distant rumble of ominous thunder and the acrid smell of lightning on the wind; he doesn't dare to fly in this weather, not when there's any other option. Instead, he pads on little sneakered feet towards the great hall, waits patiently at the door for another customer to let him in - he's not tall enough to reach the handle himself, nor strong enough to push it open - and stands in line, waiting to deliver his order.

The message is a little scrunched and wet around the edges, but it's still readable.

"Are you sure you can't just go by yourself?" Doyun was growing increasingly bored of being drug along for shopping excursions; something that he never actually thought he would tire of. Min-jun seemed to be oblivious to his discomfort. The (barely even, Min-jun, it's like a centimeter at the most!) taller boy was weaving his way rather expertly between passerby, making it difficult to keep sight of him in the crowd.

Doyun managed to catch up to him by luck alone, nearly running him over as Min-jun pulled himself to a halt outside of one of the shops. "Here it is!"

Doyun squinted up at the sign. "Here is what, precisely?" Min-jun, as he should have predicted, didn't spare him any answer. The familiar weight of Min-jun taking his wrist in a stranglehold urged him forward, leaving him no time to ask anything else.

He really ought to learn to just say he didn't want to go.

Chester was out and about again, although much drier this time. He carried with him a small notebook and pen as he went, making an alteration or crossing something off. He moved around the traffic with ease, full of a cat-like grace that didn't seem to diminish when he wasn't paying attention to where he was going. He chewed the end of his pen, and between his scarf and his mask were the flash of teeth, too large and too sharp to be at all normal. Eventually, he seemed to have sorted any problems he had and tucked the pen and notebook back into the inside pocket of his coat and tugged up scarf that covered the bottom half of his face.

As the shop came into view, he strode towards it and up to the counter, having to retrieve the notebook from his coat and tear out the page in question. "I'd like to purchase a Non-Breedable Custom Token, please, using KS. I've filled out the necessary form..."

While it wasn't the type of mystical, "enchanted" item that Ryland normally dealt with, he couldn't help but be fascinated by the concept of it. A coin that could be traded to find anyone or anything that you wanted? He didn't precisely have a long list of people that he wanted to track down, but there were certainly a few. And who knows - perhaps it would come in handy. One never knew when they may need a favor called in.

He settled the keystones on the counter, counting them out in his head as he did. It was certainly not cheap, but it wasn't as though he couldn't spare the cash...

A strange grey Fenling wandered through the streets of the marketplace. In front of every shop, she stopped to look at it, as though she was trying to figure out what was happening there. After a minute or so, she would leave and continue at the next shop. Eventually, she came upon the one she wanted. Instead of moving on, she went into the shop, tails and head held high.

She jumped up so that her paws were on the counter, and dropped a note out of her mouth. It was clearly torn out of some kind of journal or something. It had a lot of sketches and notes about some creature. Once she was sure that the note was received, she used one of her tails to flick a coin onto the counter. The glimmering gold coin was a Premium Custom Token. Where on earth had she gotten one of those?

Niles was not one hundred percent sure how he'd gotten roped into this. His sister had done a piece on this place a couple weeks ago, apparently, and that was great for her, but it was the most tenuous connection imaginable. Oh yes, and then one of her friends needed this errand run while she was out of town, and there was some sort of joke about desserts that Niles really didn't understand at all. It was more than a little absurd.

But it was a simple request, though an odd one, and he'd done weirder things for his sister than drop off a form at some sort of environmentally friendly hunting club. Or whatever it was. He hadn't read the article yet, much to his chagrin.

"Hey there! I'd just like to use this here Premium Gift Token, and here's the paperwork. Just give me a call when you're done, right?"

A strange fox dragged himself to the shop, somewhat half asleep, fur a mess. A mug of some kind of hot fluid in paw. Normally this one was energetic and swift but today was not the day. None the less he was up and out to get something special for someone dear to him. He hopped up on the counter, disregarding the fact his feet were dirty and announced his presence to the hall's clerk.

"Hey, you there. I need something for someone... for their birthday. A... a gift token... No a Pemium Gift Token! Yes... that is the one. How how about it? Oh and it is for Middy"

His ear flatted back as he took a sip of his drink and placed a bag of keystones on the counter top by his own feet. Then he jumped down and staggered out the door. Hoping that his dear would find the gift to their liking.
