"So I did. We're here to buy ingredients. Or did you think we would conjure these chocolates from the ether? We are capable of a great many things, Hinata, but I've personally never been able to feed anyone with my abilities," Itsuki replied evenly, not even missing a beat as he shoved Hinata through the door.

"Strange place to be buying ingredients for chocolate," Hinata said.

"I thought the rough and tumble atmosphere would make you more comfortable than the pink decor vogue for the holiday," said Itsuki. "Also, they have a special on."

Another week, another visit. Clone skipped into the Lone Saloon, this time munching down on hard candy and chocolate coated peanuts in colors of pink, red and white, pulling them from out of her top hat. It didn't matter if Valentines was over. She had candy galore.

"Hey, we're getting close, aren't we?" she mused. There was still time, but not much. Just a few more days. "I got you some more candy." Rather than the candy she was eating, she pulled out a bundle of candy hearts and offered them up.

"Hey buddy," Ari had a sly grin on her face as she came into the Saloon. She treated everyone there as though they were old friends, though they no doubt had met only a few times before.

"I have some notes here for you, about this old mine in the caverns. We're probably going to have to go back for another look, but I thought this might be of interest to you." The way she said it heavily implied that she was expecting a reward for her hard work. It was quite unlikely that she would just give away such valuable information, after all.

Once more, the man with golden eyes and cybernetic implants was lurking around the saloon.  Once more, he looked as though he was there with a purpose.  He approached the counter and tossed out the candy hearts that had been in his hand.

"...my friends keep finding these," he said in a low mumble.  "And... well, you guys seem to know what to do with them."  He walked away after a few moments, mumbling something about how he never would have had to do this kind of stuff in the SIS.

Byeol took her time walking home from her piano lessons today.

It was a crisp spring evening. The air was still chilly since it was so early in the season, and the tip of her nose was pink with cold, but she didn't really mind it. She kicked a pebble down the street as she walked, and listened to the snatches of radio music playing from the speakers of the mobile phone store next to the supermarket.

Her eldest brother was coming home today to say goodbye to her third brother. Everyone knew except for Yul.

She sighed. She wanted to see Sol too, but she was pretty sure those two were going to be fighting by the time she got home. And Geon said he might swing by too, which never helped...

Stopping in front of a shop with a Valentines display, she considered it for a moment, before stepping in and picking out a big box of chocolates. Maybe sweets would help smooth things over between her brothers a little. And if they didn't, then she could just eat them with Bom, just the two of them. She could only do so much if the boys wanted to be stupid.

Things didn't always go as planned. However, that wasn't always necessarily a bad thing.

In this case, Clone had originally been intended to venture out on her very own and be the one to find and bring in the last of the candies before the month was over. However, rather than her, someone else, not all too alike herself, was the one that managed to find them, instead.

Toxic did love candy.

Once again, the familiar figure made his way inside the saloon.  As he made his way up to the counter, he pulled out more candy hearts from his pocket and tossed them on the counter.

"...friends found more of these.  Figure you all have a use for them, so... here they are, again," he said, before turning to leave the building, tucking his hands into the pockets of his duster.

Finally: things were moving forward, and in a good way. He was on his way to fulfill the first step in preparing for his journey. He was more determined than ever to make his leader, and his best friend, proud.

In the meantime, these things were still appearing all through their territory. The fact they were going down, and that they were barely appearing anymore, looked like a good sign to Earthstrike.

"Hello... again." The fact he was almost becoming what humans called a "regular" sounded like a bad thing to him. "Are we done with these? We don't see a whole lot of them anymore. But can you still take these?"

The city was a strange place for Syra, but this particular building intrigued her. The idea of following clues to hunt for creatures intrigued her. For all she knew, she even already knew where some of them were. Her first trip seemed like a success, so she came back to speak to the man again.

"I have completed a hunt," she said without introducing herself. "I would like my reward please." While she might not be wrong in her request, the way she phrased it wasn't the most eloquent. It didn't seem like she cared about any of that at all.

"Well, it was a job well done again, Mob," Reigen chattered as they got off the bus and stepped off onto the street. Mob thumbed over the three keystones he'd been paid for his efforts, pocketing them with a neutral expression on his face.

"I'm just glad the spirits decided to leave on their own. They seemed nice... I didn't want to exorcize them," he mused, and Reigen chuckled, shrugging his shoulders.

"Sometimes spirits can be nice, I suppose. I'm still mad about that rug, though. I'm gonna have dust in my lungs for weeks after this," Reigen clicked his tongue and shook his head, then waved for Mob to follow into the building. Reigen approached the counter, and set down the letter he'd been sent, with a large [SOLVED] stamped onto the front.

"Heyo. Yup, we're here to turn in this job we took. It's all taken care of. You'll let the client know, right?"

And they thought he would fail! Ha! That showed what those two knew! Which was not very much.

A little fox pranced his way up to the shop, his fur fluffed up as much as it would go. "Never fear, the master thief Lupin is here!" he said smugly, his tail waving jauntily. "And because I'm such a nice guy, I decided to do you all a big favor. Be grateful!"

Pretty soon, he would be the one running the team if he kept going at this rate. Wouldn't that be something?

The boy looked disheveled and hurried as he ran into the shop. He was wearing a shirt that was equally covered in a horrible flower print and smudges of dirt. It looked like he had just rolled around in the soil before running over here. He waved eagerly at the Hydrolisk.

"Hey! Hey..." he sounded out of breath, and his words were merely filler to catch it. "I saw something odd in my garden, and I've taken down some notes about it. I thought it was really interesting so I came in right away to report it to you."

There was an excited grin on his face as he pulled out his tattered notebook and dropped it onto the counter. "This is the kind of thing you're interested in... right?" he asked, almost ashamed of how weirdly excited he had been.

A young girl, not appearing any more than eight or nine years old, with her black curls pulled into high twin ponytails on each side of her head, stepped into the saloon. She was perfectly unbothered by her surroundings, and her violet eyed gaze seemed more of an adult than that of a child.

"Some progress has been made by my... staff," she reported in, handing over a completed document. "I'm sure they'll find what is missing."

She appeared suddenly, making her way through the Saloon in a sprint. She almost knocked others out of her way — mostly by accident, but sometimes it looked almost intentional? — in order to make it to the owner of the Saloon that was hanging out nearby. That was who she was supposed to report to, right? Or was it the Chimerantula? No, no, she was positive she had to come here.

"Hi!" she greeted enthusiastically, despite being completely empty-handed upon her arrival. "We didn't find the chick, and we haven't heard anything to help," she described, hurting her chances even more, "but we've tried! Once we hear anything, we'll let you know!"

Sunburst returned just as dusk was starting to set; the T-bone looking rather the worse for wear thanks to her dragging it along to try and create a scent trail for the babe. "Hello, hopefully my actions will help the chick find it's way home!" The fact that she hadn't been able to just find it outright was a bit disappointing but she'd made a friend along the way. Good thing she didn't know Kaze had eaten some of her dream or she'd probably freak out. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to turn in the steak or hold onto it as this was the first hunt she'd been on. Looking at it; she held it out and figured if they didn't want it they'd say so.
