Ji-tae came in looking considerably more at ease than he had the past two weeks. This wasn't to say that his manner was relaxed, but even so, he no longer looked as though he was nearly at his wit's end, at least. He was even able to offer a genuine smile to the one who worked here, even if he knew better than to expect one in return.

"One missive for you, sir!" he said, dropping the letter off. "Hope you have a nice day!"

Lynx ran through the city, hoping that he could get where he was going and get back home before anyone found out where he went. He was still a bit young an inexperienced to be wandering around the market by himself, and this was something he didn't want his escort (aka his sister) to know about. The less she had to be involved in this the better. She would probably not be happy if she knew what was going down.

The boy stumbled into the shop and prayed in his head that he had the right place. He fumbled his way to the counter and said in a hushed voice. "Hey I found out some weird stuff I thought you might want to know about? I don't want anything in return, but if you could just... take care of it, that would be great."

In the end, she had missed a week or two, even though she had intended to try to not do so. Still, it was better late than never, right?

Ji-tae was a little late this week too, but then, the letter had been late in arriving. That, and the traffic on the way in had really been something else. Was there some kind of festival going on? An accident? Ji-tae couldn't be sure, since he didn't have time to linger.

"Got your letter here for you, sir," he said, dropping it off. "Can't stop to chat, but I hope you have a nice day!"

This week saw Ji-tae showing up bright and early, as he had done near the beginning, when he had first started to make deliveries to this location. It must have been a good week for him. He walked in whistling a tune, and didn't look as rushed as he had in other weeks, dropping off the letter with a bright and genuine smile.

"It's a bit early, isn't it? But the weather sure is nice today. Here's your letter, sir!" he said.

The hunt had gone more interestingly than either of them had expected. They hadn't gotten lost, and Luca had actually done the work he was supposed to do. The city had been beautiful and the garden they had visited even more so. It was only the matter of whether or not their search had been in vain. Neither thought so, in fact they were both quite eager to see the fruits of their labor. They were also able to give some information out about their research. "I think you'll find this useful," Luca said. His report was thorough, and hopefully legible.

The letter was so late this time that it was nearly the next week by the time Ji-tae had it in hand. Things must not have been going well again or... maybe it just wasn't a regularly scheduled thing anymore. But it was still the same letter, to the same shop as usual.

"Here you are, sir. Were you waiting for these?" Were they important? He wondered, but it wasn't his place to ask. Best not to get too nosy, lest you upset a client.

Zora bustled into the saloon with a scroll of paper in her hand, her eyes alight. She had been planning this expedition for a long time, and had come to register it officially before heading out - it was her last stop before leaving for the Cathedral.

Alistair was waiting outside and although she had told him she didn't know how long she would be, she still hoped he wouldn't get too impatient. He was already grousing about the fact that they were heading to the Cathedral ruins rather than a normal destination, and although she could match him when it came to a clash of opinions, she really just wanted to get her expedition underway.

"Excuse me!" she called out, attempting to catch the attention of the man behind the bar; "I just need to register with you, and then I'm heading off - mind checking that my paperwork is filled in correctly?"

Under instruction of gaining further reward Marc had made his way to the Lone Saloon. His exploration had not exactly been meant for these researchers, but if it would benefit them and offer him a reward then he was happy to oblige. An out-or-work mercenary made no money and despite a higher calling he still needed shelter and food. "Hope this can do you some good," Marc said turning over his notes.

Once again, the curious Meji made her way into the Saloon with purpose. Even with lots of things going on, and some things forgotten, she didn't want to keep forgetting things. Or letting them pass her by. Either way.

"Yes, hello, again~" she greeted, tipping her hat for a moment. "I happen to have a new friend, wandering to new places. Maybe you could give a look-see?"

Alistair strode into the saloon, his huge figure making the journey to the bar in only three strides. His large hand slapped down on the smooth surface, the sound echoing through the room, and he scowled as the bartender, seemingly unperturbed, paid him no mind.

"My client has instructed me to drop this form off with you - to update you on her progress.

The last word was hissed, as if the hulking behemoth of a man were mocking the use of the word. Without another word, he left the form on the bar as he turned and strode to the door, slamming it as he left.

It was evening and, soon, the day would be turning over into the next. At that time, one that had never once before been to the saloon stepped inside. They looked to be no more than child, with dark colored hair styled up in twin ponytails, one on each side of her head, and strange, violet colored eyes.

All she did was slip a piece of paper forward, wordlessly, before stepping back out.

Zora pulled back her hood, and grimaced as her wet boots slipped slightly on the wooden floor. The rain outside was torrential, and her boots squeaked and squished water out as she made her way over to the bar.

"Sorry, it's absolutely awful out there - I hope the documents didn't get damaged. I'm here to update you on our latest progess." She pulled out a leather satchel from under her cloak, and breathed a sigh of relief as she drew out a sheaf of papers that still seemed relatively dry, and handed them to the bartender.

It had been a little over a month since Ji-tae was last here. When he came in this time, it wasn't with his usual good cheer. He looked... tired, dark circles under his eyes, and a distracted air about him as if there was something on his mind.

"Sorry, I guess there haven't been a lot of letters lately..." He mumbled something under his breath and left a small package on the counter. Rubbing at his face, he said a quick goodbye, and was out as quickly as he had come in.

The place looked pretty empty when Ji-tae came around again, but it was just as well for him. He didn't have time to waste. On another occasion he might have savored the opportunity to stop in and chat, but today he was just as glad not to have to wait in line or wade through anything like a crowd.

"Here's this week's letter," he said, dropping it off at the counter. He was out almost before the package landed, speeding away on his bike again.
