The cloth blindfold is pulled off of your head almost the moment your consciousness returns. When had you fallen asleep? You'd wracked your brain to remember, but once the cloth came off, none of that really mattered. All around you is piles of stolen treasure and artifacts; in particular, there seems to be a very worrying number of stolen paintings lying about in various piles and stacks. For a moment, you wonder if you're alone. Then, you hear a chilling, eerie little cackle.
"Wehehe...!"
You'd spin around if you could, but you're strapped to a very ornate throne that doesn't seem like it'll budge any time soon. At least it's comfy when you press your back into it out of sheer terror at the creature that leaps from behind you, vaulting effortlessly over the throne and landing in a pile of coins in front of you. "Heeeelloooo there!" the thing--it sounds male, at least--chirps excitedly, ribbonlike cloth arms waving lackadaisically at you. "Rise 'n shine, sleepyhead. I was getting pretty tired of waiting for you to open your eyessss." He hisses the last word, and it's almost funny (or at least ironic), given you can't see the human-shaped creature's eyes at all. Instead, engraved golden ones glitter at you from its mask. They make you shiver with how unfeeling they are. "Aaaanywhoosers, let's get to why I kidnapped you."
Well, at least he's honest, you think absently. What an unpleasant person, though. You half wonder what he must look like under all those bandages and cloth, but a big part of you doesn't want to know. "You're a fine connoisseur of art yourself, am I correct? Of course you are, or else you wouldn't be here! Well, do I have grand news for you!" He slithers off of the pile of gold and skips merrily over to a pile of paintings. While he's rummaging around, you half wonder if you could break these binds. They feel like nothing more than cloth bandage, albeit wrapped very tight and with several layers. You're so deep in thought that you shout in surprise when he leaps silently over to you and slams a canvas down on your lap, the most excited grin in the world on his face. "This is the grand news! The grand news is grander art! Art just for you, stolen--I mean, commandeered from the finest of artists around the world!"
He trails off at your unimpressed silence, tail flicking, the bangles jingling at the ends. He spins around, a dejected frown on his face as he ponders the situation. "Hm. You seem disappointed, my friend. No matter!" he exclaims, spinning around on his heels to puff up his chest in determination. "I know exactly what you need." He kicks the canvas off your lap with reckless abandon and instead pulls out what looks to be an incredibly mundane smartphone. Your mouth hangs open at the utter absurdity of it all as he dials a number and holds it up to the cloth covering his ear. "Heeey, Shyster? Buddy! What's uuuup? Listen, okay, I don't care what's up. This is more important. I finally have a customer, and I'm gonna need you to get a custom artist on call. Yeah, no, they're really excited about it! Practically begging for it! Honestly!
No, I'm not lying... No, they're..."
He trails off and glances back at you, then turns away again. "Yes, I tied them up. Okay! Okay, I'm letting them go... but you better let that artist know that this person wants some art." He pauses, lowering the phone, and suddenly whips his head around to stare at you, gaze hidden. "Er... do you want some art...?"

I'm really trying to get started charging actual USD for my artwork, and I'm really comfortable with Evelon's userbase, so I thought here might be a nice place to start!I'm also looking at GT and pet offers, but USD is top priority for sure. PayPal address will be given in PMs, if USD is the payment of choice! I accept payments either 100% up front or 50% up front and 50% at the end.
I highly prefer up front though.
