1. Do the Seraph Sahound, Graffiti Albie, and Sparkler Kalamarei have any specific traits for them?

2. When battling, do we have to use our pets' battle traits, or can we just say stuff like "Scratch! Bite! Kick!" etc.?

3. Are there any guidelines for unofficial battles? I'd really like to know this bit, since I plan on doing a few.

1. Stoffie has been pondering this too. If you give her some time, (and a little bit of your sanity would help too

), and she'll take it up with Kodai and Baal.

2. Um...this will be better explained when the example battle is visible to you. So I'm going to hold off trying to answer this as I'll probably just confuse you. But in short, no you don't have to only say their battle traits.

3. Uh...guidlines for unofficial battles...I have no idea. I don't think that's been intensely thought over by any of the mods...but I'll try to bring it up for discussion.

Thanks! Oh, and here's another question: When we level up in the Training Grounds, do the stat increases get added to their other stats as well? (Loyalty, Exploration, etc.)

Here's the answer:

We don't know because we haven't even given it much thought. We're not concerned with unofficial battles as they have no effect on the war. If you want to set up unofficial battles, I'm gonna ask that you keep 'em out of war battlegrounds areas though, so as not to cause confusion. Also, you'll have to host them yourself, because the BAs are gonna be too busy for that.

As far as battle traits go, this hasn't been official discussed so this could change, but the way I think is that if it's a special trait (snap and snatch(?) was one of the ones, I think) where it causes instant death, or whatever other special damage, then you would mention that in your attack proposal and when the BA rolls, they're rolling for that attack. Anything else, generic attacks, you don't have to mention the battle traits - the mod looks all those up before battle.
