Apparently, clients and Chatzilla work, although the Java through SlashNET still seems to be having problems (Rush tried so and was unable to access the server).

So I don't know if you guys would rather download a client and use it while it's getting back to normal, but yeah.

Just thought I would let you guys know. :3

If it doesn't work, well... I guess we're just lucky? o.O

Sadly I'm not home, so I can't download a client. =( this computer is not mine. I'm trying to get into the little gaia house of Kelica's, but this computer isn't loading it. ><

Zein: remember when I was trying to help you set up mIRC? That's a client. If you use Firefox, you can also try Chatzilla.

Every time I did that it wouldn't connect to slashnet. I'll try again though.

I'm having problems getting chatzilla to download. T.T I saved it, and tried to run it, and it keeps taking me back to the download page. And after clicking Run every time that window pops up, it finally says that something cannot be copied, destination and file name are the same. I guess until Slashnet gets fixed, everyone can reach me at Zein.Duat@yahoo.com. I have messenger and I'll start getting on there every day. I hope it gets fixed soon though. *misses everyone*

You have to run Chatzilla from within Firefox. And I don't know why it won't connect, Rushfeather got Chatzilla to connect..

yeah, I realized that after I posted that. But it's still not working. I keep installing it and it keeps saying to restart firefox and when I do, it's still saying to download. O.o

For anyone who'd like to know--I joined Gaia (because I'm not allowed to download 'chatting' related stuff) and my username there is Tazzin Mariposa Sikuta.  (That's my character's full name, if you'd like to know.)

After you've installed it, it will be in the Tools menu on Firefox.
