This board is for any questions you may need answered. Please make sure to read the rules first, just so you don't end up asking something that's plainly stated. =3
A user name, RandomEventm will start to roleplay with you with the creature. If you are lucky enough, you might get it. Sometimes you will have to battle, and it's very rare that RandomEvent comes to roleplay with you. I believe they send you the code if you do in fact get one.
With us, there is no such thing as individulaity...
If you're lucky enough to find a Wild Creature, the user .:Random Event 2:. will join your roleplay as said creature. You will then have to roleplay with said user in order to get the pet. Example.
Random Event 2 will post with the creature's entrance. Most of them you will have to befriend to get them to come with you. RE2 will then send you their code. You have to fight the Moonlings though
Most pets you befrineds. I'll tell you right now of the two exceptions.
Moonlings: Moonlings, as the back story goes, had belonged to a very old and advanced (atleast for the times) tribe. They had their masters and did as they told, no matter what it was. Even after their masters deatht they followed their last order: Protect the Library. So they do, even to this day, their library covered in the Tengels growths. =3 (Yah I know this cause I was part of the RP! WHEE! XD)
Hunters: Hunters are cursed, cursed to forever remain in the Basantha Shrine. A sad sort of events. But you can free them! Thing is, you have to give up something precious. Memories, Love, Sight etc. etc. There's a list... someplace... X3;; But yah. And if the Hunter excepts your offer he/she will be freed of the curse and will be forever loyal to you. =3

As for rather it's the human or a pet, it all depends on who you want the Hunter to be bound to. Whoever it is bound to, it is loyal to, no one else really.
If you want it to listen and follow your human, then I'd say that the human must give something up. If it'll follow another creature, then that creature must give something up.
