Giftbox limit

Seeing as all the giftboxes contain pets, is there a limit on the number of a certain giftbox a person may buy or own? Can a person not own more than 3 Giftbox 2s, for example? Or can you have as many as you can buy?
I'm so cool (too bad I'm a loser).
I'm so smart (too bad I can't get anything figured out)!
I'm so brave (too bad I'm a baby).
I'm so fly
That's probably why it feels just like I'm falling for the first time!

Hmm... Well, rule-wise, I believe you wouldn't be allowed to buy more than three of them. But then again, do you HAVE enough KS to buy three of each/some of the gift boxes? 
But I'd believe that you can't buy more than three, unless you're buying them in massive quantity to give them to X members.
