Much as the title suggests, I have a question about this potion:

Do we have to provide a PSD when we use it? Or can we just give verbal suggestions of something we want to see in the offspring for that litter, and leave it vague? Like, "I want to see Sundancer and Shadebane, and primarily in purple?"

Kinda, but only Kyrit answered and the other staff members didn't really give their input. I'd want to know what the other staff had to say first.

The palette potions are for full designs only. Markings and colors can not be suggested individually. That being said if you don't have access to PS for whatever reason then I am not sure if a design done up in a written format using a lucain, paragon or sov order form with color splotches or codes would be appropriate/ usable.

But yeah I am pretty sure it does not allow to suggest singular features. Its either the full meal deal or none at all.

That... seems incredibly odd to me, I'm not going to lie. So you'll allow people to design fully custom offspring to be the result of breeding, but you won't allow people to keep the more random nature breeding is supposed to have, just with a couple of features locked in? I can understand not letting people get mutations without the Emission Liquor, but why would it be such a big deal to just let people name a few vague features they'd like to see and let the breeding do the rest?
