I suspect only the other mods will have answers to these, but:

1) How do you do gradient marking fade outs using the flat PSDs? Like this Lucain from the Breeding Area examples:


2) If paid for as an add-on, would two wings on a Paragon be permitted? I know there's one 'Gon out there with two tail types, but I'm not sure of the circumstances of that 'Gon's creation.

1) After I've woken up a bit more I'll try to make a quick little tutorial for faded markings.

2) The answer for that one can be found here. "You cannot add a second pair of wings, nor a second tail type. (And the Baal says that she will strangle you if you bring up Zein Duat's Paragon. :D)"

Okay. I'm back, so let's try this. I've never done a tutorial, so we'll see how this goes. xD;

You start out with this (linked for size). Two markings, not much else. You want to click on the group of the marking that you want to fade, and then click this button;


This creates a layer mask. Your layer group should look like this now;


Now that you're at this stage, you just want to take the gradient tool;
 
You want white and black for your gradient (greys also work. They just mean different transparencies), and just drag your gradient around a few times until you find a version you like.


Fiddle around with gradient placement until you're happy.
