Hi I'm new here and I don't understand how to get money, get your pets to have stats, or even how to get your pet online for breeding and such O.o Someone please help me.

Um, okay.  First of all, don't worry about stats or breeding yet, you can worry about those later (actually, I don't worry about them at all).  To get money, you just have to post.  It's that easy!  But first things first. (here's a pm I sent another beginner.  I'll just copy and paste it.)
 
Okay, first you need an avatar. (see the dino pic? that's mine) You can go to the avatar link off the evelon pets home page. It's in the red sidebar, it should say 'avatars.' There should be a code that says 'evelon roleplaying code' above it. Copy the whole code and go to the evelon forum. Click the profile button and scroll down to the bottum where it says avatar. Then it will show three bars. Paste the code in the one that says 'upload avatar from a url' Then click submit.

Okay, that was a piece of the pm.  Post here after you get an avatar.  By the way, Welcome to Evelon!

Alrighty, here's a li'l guide for ya to starting off. =3

First thing you wanna do is go to this board and create one--JUST one--topic.  This is where you're gonna put all your pets.  You can look at other Zoo Pens to get ideas. C=

Now, go here and decide which pets you want.  Once you find on you like, grab the code on the bottom, copy said code and put it into that Zoo Pen you just created.  Viola, you have pets. =D  Just remember the limit: only three of the same pet allowed.  Three Wood Sahound, three Cobalt Sahounds, and three Aqua Sahounds are okay, but four Aqua Sahounds is not.

After that, to get money.  Oooh, this fun. 8DD  Go out and roleplay!  There are lots or areas for you to roleplay; just pick a thread, pick a pet you put in your Zoo Pen, and put the picture in your roleplay thread.  Then just roleplay! n_n  Every roleplay post gets you two KS, the local currency.  There are other ways to get KS, such as buying it with real money, but roleplaying's the most common.

And then, for breedings, snatch a room.  This is HARD, don't be discouraged if you don't get one for a while.  It took me about two months to get my first one.  Anyhow, once you get a room, just put that same code you got off the Freewebs site into a thread in the Breeding Area, same as what you did in normal roleplaying.

Aaaaand that's just about it! =D  What's cool about this place is that you get to do everything yourself. >3<  If you want to put your pet somewhere, you have to literally put in the code and such. =3  Funfunfun.

For stats, go here.  Select the type of pet--for example, if you got a Magistrey, you'd click on the Feathered Friends topic. =3  Once there, just scroll down until you find the sats for the Magistrey.  Simple copy and paste those into your pen with the picture of your Magistrey. You can make it all pretty and stuff, but that's the basic idea. XP

Step two of stats is to go here.  Pick some Battle Traits and Passive Traits for your pet, mjust make sure you follow the trait rules.

Also check this thread.  Certain pet colours have extra traits. =3

And then, for every five roleplay posts your pet is in, it gains one level. =]  At every level, all your pet's stats go up one point--although, in some places a specific trait might go up two; in the Slums, for example, Darkness gains two points per level and all the other stats each gain one.
