[Moofius]

You've heard of the Roraldi and the wild magic here. Most Evelonians have enough sense not to enter without proper preparation. Wild magic was unpredictable in outcome and power. Some of the magic was relatively harmless, like making you smell like over ripe fruit (unpleasant but minor). Other wild magics could leave you trapped within the Roraldi for the rest of your life, or leave you stuck as an anera for some trainer to find and take home.
Most town, and even people avoiding other people, exist on the very edge, or just winthin the "safe zone" of the Roraldi. But behind one village that hugged the Roraldi, a village not on any map, there is a trail that leads into the Roraldi. The trail is thin, winding and under used.

You follow this strange path, wondering how you found this town; this path. As the trees seem to close on you you continue to wonder why you're still here, still walking in this direction. Thin branches scratch at your arms now, the path almost non existent and your fear seems to have hit a maximum and so there was only forward because you can't think.

Ahead are black trees, barren of life and the air seems to change, the magic is... tame? Your curiousity is sparked and you head towards the trees and see they are in a line, a row that corves around protecting... an orange house?

The paint seemed fresh. It was either enchanted or inhabitted. The dirt path lead through a neat lawn. The path lead right to your feet and suddenly stopped infront of the black trees into that awful, over grown path you had been following. You step through the barrier the trees create and notice, too late, that there was a magic barrier between the trees. Every molecule of your body seems to be touched but... Nothing happens to you.

Standing on this side of the barrier you wait for the barriers magic to turn you into a gingerbread man or turn you inside out. Nothing happens.
"Ha... hahaha..." you laugh, more from the stress and fear and adrenaline then anything else. You decide to explore the property.

Hanone use to be kind of grumpy and hard to work with unless given a real motivation.  After the war though (and facing death, only to be revived by a demi-god) Hanone's views have changed.  He's much quieter and spends a good hour or two praying to the gods and demi-gods.  He's gentler and softer spoken, though can be snarky at times and hard to work with.  Hanone prefers to not do anything and just relax then go out on an adventure.

He's in love with a a void hollowheart by the name of Kakumei, who he met on an early adventure to the Tengel. Although he has not seen him in many years his feelings have not changed and he is not interested in anyone else. He has devoted his life to the Gods.

Isaku was born some 300 years ago to a fairly well off family that consisted of two older sisters, a loving mother and a difficult to please father. Somewhere in his mid to late 20s he was taken in by a vampire and turned, given no instructions or information as to what sort of creature he was. The first month or so he survived on dumb luck and instinct before becoming something of a menace to any human life for about 150 years. In the later years a more experienced vampire got his hands on him and took him under his wing.

Isaku's cruelty to living beings did not stop though, they just became more refined and involved less blatant mass murdering. He turned to human jobs that allowed him to abuse people and take in victims he could feed from again and again, which was much more economical especially while people were better equipped to discover those that commited crimes. Isaku would stay in a place for 10 years or so and move on. This period of his life lasted about 100 years with him in many fields, the most notable being a priest (at Lya Pointa) and a doctor (general practitioner).

The last fifty years he has condemned himself a monster, spending all of his time not allowing himself to react emotionally or attach emotionally to much of anything, excluding Moofius and, more recently, Wyntine.

Isaku acts emotionless but comes off more as an angry or irratable person which is fairly accurate. Since Moofius is not often at home he runs the house keeping it clean and keeping everyone fed.
Isaku enjoys cooking and conducting experiments with magic since he has a bit of an affinity for it since he was turned.

Too keep his vampiric urges under control, and to allow himself to blend in with humans, he takes a pill he concocted himself twice a day (once before the sun rises and once before the sun sets). It allows him to walk around in the light and suppresses his natural urges for blood. It also affects his vampiric abilities (speed, strength, magical abilities, heightened senses).

Moofius is the owner of the Orange House estate, though she is rarely actually on the estate. Where she is or what she does outside of the Orange House is not known by many and those who do know rarely know the details of her excursions.

Her formative years were spent with her family, The Original Thought, on the Chaos Plane. Though not family biologically they are all she has ever had and known and would never dream of treating them any other way. Her father is Nosentharte (or "Nose") and she has no one she called mother though the Chaos "Yaden" was the closest thing she had to a female and motherly influence on her life. Because of the more rugged upbringing she happy enough to rough house with boys and complete manual labour not often associated with girls, nor their physical capabilities.

Because her father was not well equipped to raise a human child Moofius filled in many of the blanks herself, learning to cook and clean at a fairly young age. She was fairly self sufficient but remained with her family until circumstances with her uncle, Think, got out of hand. She had put up with his abuse long enough and left home with some keystones and a whole lot of guts.

Though she had visited the Humans and their world a few times and had some grasp of their world and society she was still quite new to the place. Most do not know many details of her life on the planets surface.

She was called back by her father to help the family with a job and returned to some semblance of her old life though with friends from many different backgrounds. It was these years that she learned a lot more about her past, about her human ancestry and biological family and how she came to live with the Original Thought. She also learned more what she was, and what she was created to be.
Moofius struggles with with idea of her wielding a considerable ammount of power and what she wants to do with it. Her main goal is to better her familiest situation but feels ill prepared on how to go about doing that without doing something she did not mean to do.

This desire to better her life and the lives of her family brought her to the Hierarchy and specifically Einsor and his labs. She hopes to learn to control her powers and understand her abilities better to be a smooth running, functional and precise machine instead of the unruly and unpredictable bomb that she is now.

Moofius also has a pet named Spy, which she got from a great training session in a Tengel Bio Dome over at Einsor's labs. Spy isn't intelligent enough for speech and is something of a wimp.

Moopheus was adopted by Moofius as a fully grown lucain and given a name. When Moofius first got him she was told he was just a dog, a mindless animal. She quickly discovered this was not the case and he went from pet to family member in an instant.

Although sentient and quite capable of complex thoughts and reasoning Moopheus is quite happy to be more of a pet than a person. He was raised that way and finds it makes almost all situations much more easily dealt with. He does pocess a human form but none have ever seen it and Moopheus doesn't plan to change that. When people ask what he looks like he says, "a naked lumberjack" but nobody is sure if he's joking or not.

This lucain has taken it upon himself to adopt Nandi the kuni (and whatever other forms she has). Nandi is well aware of her adoptive status and is also aware that it doesn't matter, so long as you're loved.
He's very over protective of her which is obviously shown in his love-hate relationship with Kami. He loves the kid but doesn't want him anywhere near Nandi's feeling... but he wants the two to be good friends; It's a vicious cycle but Moopheus is a lucain father who's suffering it with as much dignity as he can. Isaku often intercepts Moopheus attempts to cut play dates short. This is frustrating but Moopheus is always relieved Isaku has done this by the end of the day.

Energetic, loving, caring and innocent. Nandi has the innate ability to transform and take on many shapes; or rather, she will, once she learns how to take on certain forms. Her best friend, Kami, is human(ish) so she takes on a human form (which she jacked from an old picture of Moofius). She is about 8 years old and her mentally reflects that.

Olive's pretty quiet. She's been in the Tengel her whole life, you can tell by her interesting accent (in English and in the old Language of the pets). In her old village she was the Story Teller. All the legends of her people and the like had been passed down to her and all new stories were told to her so she could pass them down to the next story teller. Because of this profession Olive takes interest in all stories, which is how she became originally interested in Kaibutsu. She also loves children and telling the kids of the pen all her peoples legends and history is something she greatly enjoys. Many think of her as a universal mother.

Besides a love of stories Olive loves plants. She can be often found in her green house located behind the house. She misses her home in the Tengel, and so has filled her greenhouse with Tengel native species, creating her own slice of home.

This mossdog participated in the first Evelon war, earning many battle scars.  The most noticeable of these scars is her shoulder, which had all the feathers burnt off in battle; they never grew back.

Olive is older now and she knws she will not live forever. The one studying under her to pick up the new mantle is Bas'ma (filed under B).

As a side note Olive does have a name given to her by her tribe but it's not anything pronounceable in any Human Tongue. Her old name meant: Weaver.

The only difference between the Crimson King and this Abbalah is the colours.  Abbalah is cruel and loathes Moofius.  Abbalah was grudgingly added to the corbine network, though Ardisi has no real control over him like the others.  They don't get along well.  Moofius hates Abbalah and avoids him like the plague, which is fine by him because he hates her aswell.  He usually keeps with Isaku.  The two seem to connect on a very emo level and Moofius hates when Abbalah bring Isaku to that state of mind.

Ardisi is used for sending messages about the Pen. She also travels with Moofius sometimes.  If the pens ever in trouble Ardisi will get the message to Moofius as she's rarely around.  She does her job well.  Not exactly friendly she pecks anyone and everyone, even Isaku whom she loathes (The reasoning behind this is unclear).  She is rather cold and calculating, always gathering information -technical data- on others.  From time to time she'll shut down but that just means she needs water.  It's not rare for hissing and steam to roll off her at times when she dreams or is stressed.

Dreeku is the pen and Moofius' guard, atleast when she's home.  He's always on the front porch and it's rather strange to find him much further from there.  He's fairly calm when he doesn't know you. If you're friends of Moofius he'll be friendly.  Watch out if you're an enemy though.  He's not friendly at all and is liable to attack to kill.  His language skills leave something to be desired as he speaks in broken English, but that doesn't mean he's stupid.  Dreeku posesses an old mind, one with much knowledge.

He enjoys the company of children, whether he will admit it or not.  He is one of Nandi's teachers.

He likes Abbalah best because of his independant nature and wishes he had enough resolve to defy Moofius.

Moofius would rather be without this corbine but this particular misprint has the ability to move between realms faster then any other model, it's ability is comparable to the teleportation speeds of seraph, without the "I wish I was dead!" thing seraph go through when entering the Chaos plain. Also he doesn't try (and poses no threat) to kill her family and so is her best bet for getting messages to and from them.

Grid is a cartographer, explorer and trouble maker. Actually, scratch that; Grid is a trouble finder. She's not sure what it is or why she has it but Grid can sense trouble in an almost psychic like manner. Not only that once she's sensed a potential hazard she will find her way towards it, or it will find her. She discovered that trouble was inescapable at an early age and so she actively seeks it out, the bigger the better because in her line of work, if there's trouble there's probably something worth knowing or having.
Grid is very use to danger and trouble in all forms and, with a map, can often figure out what the trouble is most likely to be and if it leads to something worth knowing or having.

When you're safe and secure she's the last thing you would ever want to meet, but if there's trouble sticking with her is your best bet to get out unscathed. For really big trouble she has her partner Lusrd to help her out.

Grid is excitable, fun and always ready to go. Her life is all excitement all the time and she refuses to let it get her down. She's not afraid to get herself, or others dirty and she can be quite the flirt (something she picked up from her father).

Lusrd is a beetankke who remains in that form since he is all about comfort, it also helps that he enjoys being intimidating and how much more intimidating can you get?

Lusrd is quiet but restless. When given no orders he is very likely to become destructive such as purposefully stomping on plants (and small animals), throwing rocks at things that move (or don't) and doing things to instigate a fight. He prefers a physical fight over a verbal one, because even in his native language he is not one who would do well in a verbal fight. Lusrd has an accent when speaking English, the accent sound a lot like a Russian accent. His sentences are usually quite simple and growled out. He will often speak to himself, under his breath and with clicking sounds when angered or annoyed (which is often). He seems happiest when he is fighting an opponent.

He often travels with Grid, keeping her safe when she can't do it herself. His exoskeleton has many scratches and wounds, especially round his arms, chest and head but none of which stand out as a great identifier.

Nani is a little bit totally off her rocker. Which is, kinda' okay considering what she's been through. If somebody messed your your genes in the most excrutiating way you could think of doing it? Yah, you'd probably be a little bit POed too. Nani has a fiery temper and a fuse that isn't just easy to light, it seems to be lit at all times, the best you can do is recut that string and tie on more to try and avoid the inevitable.
